Shade had his own thoughts regarding the companions:
"I've notified Vanessa and asked her to come tomorrow. Claire should come along as well. The Church has long known about the God Summoners cooperating with the Fatu People, so let Claire represent the Fatu People."
The reason he had not chosen Megan or Sivie, who were already here, was naturally because Vanessa was Thirteenth Order. When meeting the Material World's highest-ranked seer, even if the two sides were not dueling, Shade still wanted high-order young ladies there to hold the line.
Sivie and Megan naturally understood Shade's thoughts as well. Megan did not particularly care about it. She had only advanced to Twelfth Order last spring, and because of family matters, she did not like dealing with the Seer Association. It made no difference to her whether she went or not.
But the Great Witch of Light had far more thoughts on the matter. The Great Witches had generally reached Twelfth Order by now, and she was one of the Council's earlier Twelfth Order Great Witches. She truly wanted to go with Shade, but she also knew that bringing Vanessa over would be safer.
Luvia seemed to understand everyone's thoughts at that moment:
"Only two people? Let Sivie come along too. It would be safer that way."
The Girl with Purple Eyes said this, and Sivie immediately looked at her, feeling as though those purple eyes could see straight through her soul.
There was nothing else to do that evening. After returning home from Snow Mountain, Shade received Dorothy's "music education" at home. He chose the living room of Room Two on the Second Floor. It was relatively spacious, and next door was Number 7 Saint Derain Square, which also belonged to Shade, so there was no need to worry about
