Luvia gave her reasons:
"These terms are very generous. Whether it's the divine artifact, the means of treating Witches, or information about the [Skin Object Hall], these are all things we want. From the standpoint of profit alone, this is a very good deal for us."
That was also Shade's view. He had already made so many deals with "Desire." The reason he had not agreed immediately was not that he was putting on airs, but that he wanted to hear what the others thought. Luvia's advice was exactly as he had expected; both long-haired Luvia and shawl-haired Luvia would certainly have said the same thing.
To his surprise, Dorothy also nodded in agreement with Luvia's suggestion:
"As long as you always remember its danger, I do not object to continuing the deal. The story of the Thirteen Chosen Ones has indeed entered its final stage. No matter what ultimately arrives, every existence in the entire world, even those terrifying Relics, will have to face it alongside ordinary people.

The Mermaid was not the only one to propose a "deal" to Shade that afternoon. The deal proposed earlier by the Doppelgangers had directly led to Shade entering the Mystic Lock to battle Hermons and the others. Shade still did not know that Adele had trapped the "Infant-Holding Holy Mother" inside their base. During dinner, he merely described his experiences in the [Birthing Room of
