"Shade, you just finished dealing with the Skin Objects, and now you're going after demons again?"
Dorothy pressed her lips together as she asked. Shade immediately shook his head.
"I'm not a proper Demon Hunter. I just need to do some preliminary investigation. The demon matter isn't a big deal—at least, not as big a deal as attacking the [Skin Object Hall]."
Shade stretched his arms wide and yawned.
"Come to think of it, I still need to visit Mr. Bernhardt tomorrow and ask what he gained at the Charming Lady Club. I wonder whether he found the local Advanced Bloodkin."
Seeing that Shade showed no sign of slowing down, Luvia and Dorothy felt both distressed and helpless. They knew things would only move faster and faster, and that Shade's choice was the right one.
"Let's put tonight's Night Lesson on hold. Leisha and I haven't prepared anything."
At least Miss Writer could make Shade rest this way.
Shade did not object to postponing tonight's Night Lesson. As for when to reschedule it, that would depend on the arrangements ahead.
