To prevent Little Mia from turning into some other animal after entering that area, Shade placed the unwilling cat atop Emilia's head. Daniste then had the professors open an entrance, and the two unicorns, one large and one small, came around from behind the bookshelves and charged into the calamity zone together.
"So Professor Danist had Marquez solve the problem. Not a bad idea, though the other unicorn doesn't seem to belong to the Academy, does it?"
After the space shifted, Shade and Ellie went from the library to an unfamiliar forest. Everything around them seemed utterly real, and the spiritual corrosion inherent to this world was indeed quite terrifying.
"I can sense it! This way!"
Ellie sniffed around, then led Shade running through the forest. The pair of unicorns raced through the woods like the wind, and the dangerous beasts transformed by unknown entities could not even keep up with them.
Ellie seemed quite excited to be running alongside Shade. But this forest was simply too vast, so they would likely have to keep running for quite some time.
It was then that "her" voice appeared:

Shade called Ellie to a stop as she ran at full speed. After the two transformed into human form, they flew to the crown of the tallest nearby tree. Once they had defeated the flock of giant eagles flying in from afar, Shade extended his hand in the direction Ellie had indicated:
"Thaumaturgy—Moon Library: Library Retrieval!"
The Thaumaturgy activated successfully, and the book's location clearly surfaced in Shade's mind. It tried to resist Shade's retrieval, but in the next moment, phantom, semi-transparent star blue bookshelves appeared against the Star
