Shade used the Red Moon’s authority to defeat the Doppelganger and destroy Flesh City, then the group returned to the House of False Men’s inner core. He helped Ellie awaken and sent her to destroy the flesh blocking the door, leaving the group poised to see whether it would finally close.

• Shade became part of the world with help from Iluna, Dorothy, and Owl, then clashed fists with the giant Doppelganger as the Snow Mountain’s radiance swept across Fatumonst Island.
• Shade defeated the Doppelganger with the Red Moon’s authority, and it vanished as Flesh City collapsed.
• Shade freed Ellie from the ice and, after his power ran out, returned to his normal state while Daniste appeared behind him.
