Of the more than 400 cavalrymen, less than 30% remain, and the number of deaths continues to rise, with the cavalrymen fleeing in all directions.

The spearmen and shieldmen suffered heavy casualties under the repeated firing of the Hobgoblin Line Infantry. The originally tight formation had gaps, and the spearmen and shieldmen behind even showed fear of battle, not daring to fill the gaps in front of them, because they saw it as tantamount to suicide.

Fortunately, after several volleys, the Hobgoblin ran out of ammunition and put down their fire sticks, switching to sharp swords.

Meanwhile, the Ogre and Lizardmen swarmed forward, charging into battle, and the Ember Nest's minions clashed fiercely with the main force of the allied army, the "Eagle's Claw."

This is the most intense battlefield on the front lines.

"For the Ember Nest!"

"For the great Red Dragon Master!"

Dolo led the charge, spearheading their fierce attack.

He swung his Bloodfire Battle Axe with great force, smashing several terrified spearmen and shieldmen into pieces. Nearby soldiers witnessed this horrific scene, and they all collapsed in fear and fled in all directions.

The allied forces' originally solid formation was forcibly breached by Dolo, who created a huge gap in it.

The monsters that followed cheered wildly and poured into the gap, tearing each other apart in the army formation, using claws and teeth or swords to continuously expand their advantage.

The Hobgoblin swung their swords, the Lizardmen hurled Bone Spear, the Ogre brandished clubs, and the Kobold Sorcerer breathed fire.

"Enemy!"

The Ogre "Da Tou" roared with his head down, smashing a heavily armored soldier flat with his club, armor and all.

However, he did not continue his attack. Instead, he looked around, then tore off a piece from the grotesque mass of flesh and secretly stuffed it into his mouth when no one was looking. A satisfied expression appeared on his ugly face.

"Canned little people, delicious."

"We can't let the boss find out. He doesn't allow Da Tou to eat canned figurines. If I eat them, he'll beat me up again."

Da Tou muttered to himself in a low voice.

However, he was unaware that Lang Pu, relying on the magical abilities carried by the Ogre, surveyed the battlefield and witnessed this scene with a dark expression.

"Da Tou! You're stealing food again!"

Lang Pu's annoyed voice suddenly came from beside Da Tou.

Da Tou was so frightened that he immediately covered his head, instinctively trying to protect it from being knocked unconscious by the club.

But he looked around and couldn't see Lang Pu's tall figure. He could only scratch his Da Tou in confusion and mutter to himself, "That's strange, I clearly heard the boss's voice..."

"Did I hear wrong?"

But soon, his simple mind was drawn to the aroma of flesh and blood, and he forgot all about it.

"Never mind, let's keep smashing the canned figurines!"

Da Tou let out an excited roar and once again threw himself into the bloody battle to fill his stomach.

For these monsters imbued with the blood of Red Dragon, killing is as commonplace as eating and drinking, whereas it is not the case for humans.

"Help!"

"Let me go, I'm not fighting anymore!"

"They are the embodiment of evil!"

"Let me leave here..."

Many soldiers witnessed their comrades dying one after another in the monster's frenzied attacks, their deaths gruesome. Overwhelmed, they desperately wanted to escape this horrific meat grinder.

"Deserters, death penalty!"

However, the supervising officer behind them stopped these fleeing soldiers and mercilessly killed them with his Sword of Judgement, forcing them to turn back and face the enemy.

However, this can only slightly slow down the situation and cannot stop the overall trend of the army's retreat.

"This can't go on any longer."

Robert watched as his defenses were utterly crushed by the monster army, his brow furrowed.

He summoned the commander of the North Wind Eagle Guard.

"Aiden, it's your turn to step in and stop them."

"Yes, sir."

Aiden accepted the order, leaped onto the giant eagle, flapped his wings and took off. In mid-air, he raised the Eagle's Cry Silver Sword in his hand, making a sharp whistling sound.

"North Wind Eagle Guard, prepare to charge!"

Hundreds of giant eagle riders rose to a high place, letting out loud eagle cries, and swooped down rapidly.

"Fight for His Majesty the Duke!"

"Charge with me!"

Giant eagles swept across the ground, casting dappled shadows, and bringing with them lances and longswords.

Under the Eagle Guards ' massed charge, the monster army suffered heavy casualties. Even some of the thick-skinned Ogre were pierced by lances falling from the sky.

After several rounds of attacks, with the support of air power, the rout of "Eagle's Claw" was temporarily slowed down, and there was even a slight momentum to push back the front line.

However, the North Wind Eagle Guard had clearly forgotten that they weren't alone in the sky. Just as they finished their second dive and began their next slow ascent—

"Roar--"

The roar of the Wyvern rang out.

The Red Scale Conqueror descended from the sky, bringing with them blazing flames.

They had been circling high above the clouds, waiting for their chance to attack. As the North Wind Eagle Guard finally relaxed their guard and revealed an opening, Alger decisively seized the opportunity and ordered an attack.

"For the Ember Nest!"

"Charge!"

Alger raised the Eternally Burning Greatsword.

The Dragon Roar Charge was launched in unison. Accompanied by a powerful roar, the seventeen Atavistic Wyvern simultaneously spewed out scorching flames, creating a rolling sea of fire in front of them.

The North Wind Eagle Guard remained in tight formation, slowly climbing, but they never expected an attack from the air.

As the dragon's roar resounded, the giant eagles were gripped by uncontrollable fear, unable to dodge. And when the Eagle Guards looked up in panic, their vision was completely filled with flames.

"Boom!"

Flames raged wildly in the air, and the giant eagles were engulfed in flames, turning into fireballs that crashed to the ground.

Alger's timing was near perfect. In just this one round of Dragon Roar Charge, most of the nearly one hundred Eagle Guards were burned to death, almost losing an entire Eagle Guards regiment.

"Scatter! Scatter!"

"Evacuate immediately!"

Aiden let out a heart-wrenching roar.

He finally understood why the Sixth Eagle Guard Regiment had disappeared en masse; it turned out that the Ember Nest also concealed a terrifying aerial force.

Not just those mindless Wyvern, but also flying knights!

"Roar--"

As the Red Scale Conqueror charged, the Wyvern leader Smaug let out a long roar, Wyvern took to the air in a flurry, chasing after the lone Eagle Guards.

The three heads of the Chimera roared in unison, flapped their Dragon Wing, and led two female members of their kind into the battle.

The situation in the sky became increasingly chaotic.

Flames, arrows, and lances crisscrossed and spun wildly in the air.

The three-headed Chimera, over a hundred Wyvern, eighteen Red Scale Conqueror, and the remaining two hundred North Wind Eagle Guard in a perilous aerial battle, unable to attend to anything else—for the slightest distraction would result in attacks from all directions.

Humans and monsters keep falling from the sky.

Meanwhile, the human army on the ground, having lost air support, was pushed back into the fray by the monsters and continued to retreat, with constant cries of death and injury.

I'm a bit hungover now, so my thoughts are a little jumbled. I'll post a big update tomorrow.
