The Beginning of the Campaign
"Your Keosius Your Highness, let us go with you."
"That old Silver Dragon is cunning, deceitful, and full of tricks. He may very well lead his disciples and followers to attack you!"
The Blue Dragon clung to Keosius's forepaws, pleading desperately.
During this process, Christina did not forget to turn her head and give a provocative look to the White Dragon who was following closely behind Keosius.
"Rua!"
"You wretched dragon, are you trying to provoke me? How dare you touch my master?"
Tinia arched her body like a mad cat, spread her wings, and growled angrily at the Blue Dragon.
However, this was exactly what Blue Dragon was trying to provoke.
Christina smiled contemptuously and said without any mercy:
"Look, what you need are reliable allies like us, not a stupid beast like the White Dragon that can't even control its most basic emotions."
"Woo"
The White Dragon let out a low growl from its throat, its expression becoming increasingly ferocious.
She wanted nothing more than to rush up and tear that foul-mouthed Blue Dragon to shreds, but she couldn't find the words to refute it.
Once they really make it up—
Doesn't that just prove Blue Dragon right?
If you are disliked or hated by your owner because of this, or even fall out of favor later, then it would be a great loss.
"One day, I will tear her mouth apart."
Thinking of this, Tinia swallowed hard, silently keeping her anger in her heart.
Keosius impatiently flicked his claws, mercilessly tossing the annoying Blue Dragon to the ground beside him:
"Alright, I agree. You may all come along, for Her Dragon Queen Your Majesty's sake."
"However, you are absolutely not allowed to act without my orders."
"Yes, Your Keosius Your Highness!"
"It is our honor to serve you."
Christina immediately scrambled to her feet and exclaimed with ecstatic joy.
Over the past few days, she had exhausted all means, disregarding the dignity of the Blue Dragon and using every possible method, finally managing to get this indifferent Red Dragon to soften its stance slightly.
But now that a path has been opened, shouldn't we take it a step further? With this thought in mind, Christina's mind wandered, and her eyes sparkled.
She spoke in a seductive voice, "Since you've agreed to this, then what about Her Dragon Queen Your Majesty's decree?"
"Roll."
All that could be heard was Keosius's indifferent voice.
He waved his wings and left without a second thought, leaving the Blue Dragon bewildered in the wind.
"What an insensitive guy."
"However, I think I smell the scent of rain, which is somewhat like the stench of those Silver Dragon."
"That's strange, is this just my imagination?"
Christina looked up at the red figure that flew at an extremely fast speed, streaking across the sky like a meteor. She gritted her teeth for a moment, then flapped her wings and followed it from a distance.
Twelve Blue Dragon appeared one after another, following closely behind Christina, forming a formidable Blue Dragon team.
The cold wind howled, and snowflakes drifted down.
The Inaki River and Oryol River continue to flow quietly, snowflakes melting into the cold water.
The north wind once again brought snow to the Okaglar Plain, while the soldiers on the riverbank continued their work, digging trenches and building bunkers, preparing for the upcoming battle.
But the players didn't seem to care much; some were even humming tunes happily, as if this war concerning the fate of the the North had nothing to do with them.
Many players couldn't help but look up and quietly admire the beautiful scenery of the snowfield.
"What a beautiful snow scene!"
"Being able to see such scenery makes it all worthwhile, even if the initial development is slow."
"Yes."
"Hmm? That's strange, I can hear music."
"And why does this sound so familiar? Doesn't it sound like 'Empire of Angels'?"
Does this game have background music like this?
"Also, did you feel the ground shaking?"
"Was it an earthquake?"
"No, look there—"
As the players and soldiers gasped in surprise, a massive army appeared in the distance.
Both the sky and the ground were occupied by the burning army, and mottled torrents emerged on the originally white snowfield.
Swarms of Wyvern, like thick, dark clouds, flew toward this place, their chaotic wings obscuring half the sky.
On the ground, massive armored Terrestrial Dragon Beast, each as large as a small mountain, moved slowly forward. Every step they took caused the earth to tremble, and it was as if small, undulating mountain ranges had appeared on the plain.
The Hobgoblin and Tiefling marched in orderly steps, brand-new rifles in hand, while the Ogre behind them dragged heavy cannons, panting heavily, but their eyes were full of excitement.
A group of Dragonkin Paladin wielding a massive shield, gathered together, surrounded by a ring of crimson aura that seemed to ignite the very air.
The rhythmic drumbeats continued, and the majestic music played by the Half-goat Human Military Band echoed across the vast plains like a melody of destiny, making the atmosphere of impending battle even more intense.
Across two great rivers, the soldiers and Northern Nobles gazed at the terrifying army in the distance and were immediately shocked; some even fainted on the spot.
"O gods!"
How could there be such an army?
"This is not quite what the intelligence said."
How exactly do we defeat this thing?
However, the army gathered on the Okaglar Plain was the absolute elite of the entire the North, and under such a strong sense of oppression, they still maintained their basic fighting spirit and there was no large-scale rout.
Of the 50,000 soldiers standing here, seven or eight out of ten are private armies kept by various Northern Nobles, and some are squire knights. They have served a certain Noble Lord for generations, sharing honor and disgrace, and have formed a deep bond of interests with the Northern Nobles.
Even if they surrender, their fate will not be much better.
Therefore, the soldiers here are exceptionally determined.
Even after several rounds of "Keosius's Speeches" bombardment and baptism, the number of defectors and deserters only reached a little over a hundred, which is already quite remarkable, considering that two-thirds of the army led by Loren had directly deserted.
Grand Duke Leo gazed at the enemy army in the distance, raised his two-handed greatsword high, and roared with the imposing power of a lion, "Those are nothing but barbaric, vulgar monsters!"
"Soldiers, remember! We Scania People are invincible!"
"Moreover, we have even more powerful allies who can easily route them!"
As he spoke, Asmo, a divine descendant from Mount Paradise, brandished his gleaming silver sword.
Cloud Giant, Pegasus, Feathered Serpent, Celestial Giant Eagle, Aasimar, and Herald of Justice soared into the sky, dominating the sky South Bank of the Great River, confronting the densely packed Wyvern and Chimera on the opposite bank.
The appearance of the Steadfast Shield Envoy, Armor Guardian, Fortune Lion, and Elf Druid on the ground filled the position on the South Bank of the Great River with an aura of majesty.
These are reinforcements from Mount Paradise and Druid Grove. Although they number only a few hundred, they are all mysterious and powerful beings, and their individual strength is even greater than that of the Dragon Blood Noble of the Embers of the Burned Kingdom.
The presence of these extraordinary reinforcements greatly encouraged the humans in the allied forces, boosting their morale.
The cry of "For the Bosque Duchy!" echoed across the south bank.
