The City-Crushing Dragon
"Boom!"
Another bolt of lightning struck, cleaving three or four Fire Giant giants on the metal city wall into streaks of flame.
"Flame Lord!"
"This"
As natural rulers of the Fire Elemental Plane and among the best of the elemental creatures, Fire Giant are few in number.
In the vast kingdom ruled by the Fire Giant Sultan, there were only a few hundred thousand Fire Giant and a few thousand "Malik"—that is, Fire Giant Noble.
In this kingdom, there are even more slaves, including native species such as Fire Dwarf and Fire Lizard, as well as otherworldly species such as humans and orcs.
Therefore, for the Fire Giant Kingdom, every Fire Giant who can be called a "citizen" is extremely precious.
Upon seeing his men die one after another, Machei was immediately horrified and pointed his scimitar at the sky.
"Red Dragon! We have never provoked you! Why are you targeting us Fire Giant like this!"
"Aren't you afraid of the Grand Sultan's wrath?"
Within the clouds, the enormous wings appeared and disappeared intermittently, and the pale golden pupils shone like two twinkling stars.
"Fire Giant— "
"Blame your Grand Sultan's Emil — Hamid Abdul!"
"He hunted down my family, killed my soldiers, and even insulted me and my empire to my face!"
"If Hamid truly represents the will of the Grand Sultan as he claims, then your Fire Giant Kingdom is declaring war on the Embers of the Burned Empire!"
The thunderous sound echoed above the Black Iron City, making all the Fire Giant tremble.
"Hamid!"
"That damn idiot!"
Machei cursed fiercely, trembling with rage.
In his mind, Hamid had been to hell countless times and subjected to countless tortures.
His ignorance and arrogance are one thing, but...
This has actually brought such a terrifying enemy to the Fire Giant!
But no matter what, we absolutely cannot allow the Grand Sultan to be disgraced, and we absolutely cannot allow the Fire Giant's prestige to be tarnished! Thinking of this, the Fire Giant Noble raised his scimitar again and said loudly, "Red Dragon, there is still room for reconciliation between us!"
"If you surrender now, I am willing to petition the Grand Sultan to make peace with your empire!"
"You?"
First came a sonic boom, then a huge black shadow descended from the sky and crashed onto the metal city wall.
"Boom!"
"Flame Lord!"
"Help! It, it's falling!"
"That's Soul-Devouring Dragon!"
All that could be heard was the grating sound of metal scraping against metal, and the city wall dented deeply, with iron filings and fragments flying everywhere.
The Red Dragon strolled along the city wall as if taking a leisurely walk, mercilessly crushing the Fire Giant soldiers who stood in its way with its massive body.
Its thick, massive tail was like a heavy hammer; with just a gentle flick, more than a dozen Fire Giant soldiers were sent flying with screams.
"No--"
"O Flame Lord, what power this is!"
His giant claws swung around casually, and shimmering claw-shaped force fields danced erratically on the city wall.
"Whoosh—"
The ear-piercing sound of metal scraping rang out again, and several Fire Giant soldiers, along with their bronze shields, were cut in two.
Deep claw marks were also left on the city wall, like horrific wounds.
This is the power of the Red Dragon; they are truly deserving of the title "War Machine."
As Red Dragon with an overpowered ability, coupled with the size of Ancient Dragon and a variety of magical techniques, Keosius's strength is even more exaggerated.
Keosius slowly opened his mouth, the dragon crystal on his chest flashing with fire, and exhaled extremely hot dragon breath with a higher magical essence.
"Boom--"
The dragon flames swept across the surrounding area, devouring the fleeing Fire Giant. The city wall, forged from black iron, gradually melted, dripping with molten black iron.
"Quick! Now!"
"Shoot him!"
"Aim at the dragon's chest! Aim for its heart!"
Machei brandished his scimitar and shouted anxiously.
Based on his experience in the military, he believed that heavy ballistae were the best way to deal with such colossal creatures.
Although they are incredibly powerful and capable of crushing everything, they are often slow-moving and become easy targets.
"Hurry! Obey Emil's orders!"
"Do you still want to live? If you can't kill this dragon, we'll all die!"
On the metal city wall, watching the Red Dragon approach step by step and slowly slaughtering its prey, the Fire Giant officer roared and urged it on.
Several Fire Giant loaded their giant arrows and turned the winches with all their might, while simultaneously turning the ballistae around.
"Emission!"
"Kill him!"
The ballista, imbued with Fire Elemental magic, unleashed terrifying energy, with surging flames overflowing from it.
And so the enormous arrow, nearly three meters long, carrying terrifying power and trailing a fiery tail, hurtled through the air.
"Whoosh—"
The Fire Giant's ballista was meticulously crafted by the Fire Dwarf and was indeed capable of killing Adult Red Dragon.
The Fire Giant present immediately held their breath.
"Boom--"
A shockwave swept in, causing the metal city wall to dent once more. The enormous Red Dragon stomped on the wall and soared into the air at an incredible speed.
"What?"
"How is this possible?"
The Fire Giant gasped in surprise and looked up nervously.
In just a few breaths, the Red Dragon had already climbed a hundred meters.
Keosius spread his wings high in the sky, and brilliant flames spewed from his back, his dragon body turning into a crimson afterimage.
"Boom!"
Another powerful wave of air surged forth.
The Red Dragon swooped down and crashed to the ground, crushing the Fire Giant soldiers and the ballistae into dust.
Scattered arrows and spears flew in, but before they could touch his body, they were blocked by invisible Energy Scales and bounced away.
Thick smoke billowed from the city walls, and the massive body of the Red Dragon gradually emerged from within it.
The Fire Giant, unlike their usual arrogant selves, retreated steadily while praying to the Flame Lord, fearing they would be devoured by the terrifying Red Dragon.
The scimitars in their hands even fell to the ground, making a crisp "clang" sound.
"Fire Giant"
"You still haven't recognized your own position."
Keosius said calmly, "I've said it before, you are not qualified to negotiate with me!"
"Prepare to die!"
"For the Grand Sultan!"
Suddenly, a heart-wrenching battle cry came from behind the Red Dragon.
Mayich, riding his Flame Wyvern, swooped down and swung his scimitar at the Red Dragon's thick neck.
Keosius turned his head away indifferently.
"When--"
The jarring sound of metal clashing together rang out.
The curved blade struck the hard red scales, then was knocked away and shattered into pieces in mid-air.
Majcher's arm went numb from the shock, and his face contorted in astonishment.
This is a scimitar bestowed by the Grand Sultan himself! It possesses strength comparable to rare and precious equipment!
He didn't know that Keosius's scales were literally "built with money."
Over the years, the Red Dragon has devoured hundreds of thousands of Gold Coin, and the characteristics of its Gilded Scales have long reached their peak, with each scale being harder than rare armor.
Keosius gazed indifferently at the Fire Giant Noble in mid-air and said softly:
Where does your confidence come from?
The Red Dragon's giant claws ripped through the air, dragging the precious mutant Flame Wyvern directly into the "Shelter Egg" in the Alternate Dimension.
Machei quickly leaped into the air, trying to escape the Red Dragon's clutches, but his lower body turned into smoke and ash.
However, a dark shadow flashed by, and he was grabbed by the Red Dragon's claws, unable to move at all.
Machei struggled with all his might, roaring hoarsely, "You killed me! The Grand Sultan will not let you get away with this! I am his personal guard! I am the noble Kapukulu!"
Keosius shook his head with some regret and sighed softly.
"Okay, I was originally going to ask if you could grant me three wishes with one wish, to satisfy my curiosity that I've had for so many years."
"It seems that we can only put it on hold for now."
The surging dragon flames traveled down the arm to the Red Dragon's claws, gradually closing in and engulfing the burly Fire Giant Noble.
