Alger said to the two, "With me here guarding them, they won't attack you unless you fall to your death. But if you do, you'll become food for the Wyvern."

"Good luck to you."

This is the introductory trial for the Red Scale Conqueror set up by Keosius. Over the years, at least a hundred of his followers have participated in this challenge, but none have succeeded. They either died from the fall or deserted in the face of battle.

The Steamed Bun was on the verge of tears. "Then I really have to thank you."

The Wyvern flapped their wings wildly in mid-air, hissing, roaring, and growling as they gradually closed in.

In their view, simply killing these humans would provide them with a snack, which was quite easy. They were even quite adept at it, having already devoured several Hobgoblin and Tiefling.

Singo watched the approaching Wyvern and whispered, "Steamed Bun, have you made your choice?"

"What to choose?"

Steamed Bun was still a little confused.

Singo, however, took out several bundles of lasso from his backpack, threw one bundle to Steamed Bun, and then tossed him a can of spray containing an unknown liquid.

"Of course, we should choose a mount."

"Ah?"

Steamed Bun was still in shock from being surrounded by Wyvern and hadn't come to his senses, but he quickly understood their crazy actions and was dumbfounded.

Singo ignored him and continued, "I think the one on the cliff is pretty good. It's the biggest and strongest one in this area. You're not allowed to take it from me."

"Watch closely, I'll only demonstrate this once. I've practiced this move for a long time, and I tried it out in Red Dead Redemption before."

After saying that, he threw the lasso decisively and accurately, which landed precisely on the neck of a four-meter-long, enormous Wyvern on the rock wall, and then tightened the rope forcefully.

"Woo-hoo—"

The Wyvern was suddenly caught in the snare and was somewhat panicked.

It struggled violently, shaking its neck and emitting hissing cries. Then it flapped its wings wildly, trying to shake off the human holding it.

But Single held on tightly to the rope, wrapping it around his hands several times. Then, using the Wyvern's struggling and swaying motion, he leaped directly onto the back of the Wyvern.

"Aww!"

The Wyvern was enraged when the humans, whom it perceived as weak and lowly, sat on its back.

Its neck twisted back and forth, its wings flapped wildly, and its huge body accelerated, stopped abruptly, spun around in the air, and even deliberately used its back to slam against the rock wall.

But Singo held tightly to its neck, refusing to let go no matter how much it struggled.

He even freed one hand to pick up the spray can and spray it onto the Wyvern's head, not forgetting to teach from mid-air. "That can contains female Wyvern hormones, which can soothe their emotions and nerves!"

However, such a Contend Against also took a heavy toll on Singleo.

After several entanglements, he finally exhausted his strength and had no choice but to find an opportunity when the Wyvern flew low and swooped down, leaping down and rolling several times on the ground to cushion the impact.

Seeing this, the Wyvern wanted to take the opportunity to launch a sneak attack and let out a roar.

But Singo quickly got up, drank a Energy Potion, and continued to confront the Wyvern head-on, waiting for an opportunity to ride on Wyvern back again.

"It's still far from perfect; I guess we'll be stuck here all day."

Singo grinned, looking quite excited, and said breathlessly, "This thing is really hard to handle, but fortunately, every time I ride it, the system shows that my proficiency level increases."

"If we repeat this a few times, we should be able to max out our riding skill proficiency."

The Steamed Bun was speechless for a moment, and could only sigh:

"You're such an animal."

However, when Steamed Bun thought of his dream of soaring through the sky and his eighteen days of hard work, he realized that he was only one step away from success. How could he back down? He immediately made a firm decision in his heart.

Steamed Bun stared at the Wyvern, gritted his teeth, and threw out his lasso with all his might. He was lucky enough to hit the target on the first try and caught a Wyvern that was more than three meters long and had its claws outstretched.

Then the Wyvern struggled frantically and flew up.

However, the Steamed Bun failed to climb onto its back; instead, it was carried by the Wyvern and hung below, flying wildly in the sky.

"Aaaaaaahhhhhh—"

"I'm dying, I'm dying, I'm dying— Xin Gou, save me!"

His pitiful cries echoed through the valley.

Singo watched the dazed steamed Steamed Bun being tossed around on the ground and said disdainfully, "If you're bad, you need to practice more."

He drew back the Hunter Longbow and aimed.

"Whoosh—"

An arrow was shot out, severing the rope of the noose in one strike, causing the Steamed Bun to fall from mid-air and land face-first in the mud.

"Xin Gou, is this how you save people...?"

The steamed Steamed Bun, face down, was on the verge of tears and could only silently drink the Healing Potion. At this moment, Singo caught up with the Wyvern again and began a second battle with it.

And so, in Wyvern Valley, the two players engaged in fierce battles with the Wyvern. The Wyvern threw them off time and time again, but they rode it back again and again, becoming more and more skilled at riding and spending longer and longer on its back.

Later on, they were even able to control the direction of the Wyvern with their movements, and maintain their balance on it using only their legs, without falling off.

By now, the Wyvern had grown impatient and flew up to a height of 100 meters, circling around in an attempt to throw the human on its back to his death.

But Singleo remained calm and, using the Feather Fall scroll he had prepared beforehand, lightly landed on the ground, infuriating the Wyvern which roared and spat everywhere.

"Roar--"

All that could be heard was the weak, hoarse roar of the Wyvern.

[Your skill experience has met the requirements][Your proficiency in Riding has been increased to +3]Singo landed lightly on the ground and said to Steamed Bun, who had just dismounted from the Wyvern, "That was great. My Riding proficiency is now +3. How about you?"

Steamed Bun, supporting himself on his knees and panting heavily, said, "It's +2 now, but the weightlessness is making me want to throw up. I wonder if there's a vomiting mechanic here..."

Singo scoffed, "That just means you're bad at the game. How can someone who's squeamish about dragons be a knight?"

Steamed Bun said speechlessly, "Do you think everyone is as beastly as you? If you call War Maniac Bro over, he might actually throw up all over the place."

Alger watched the two panting humans, witnessing their riding skills improve at a visible rate, and a rare look of surprise appeared in his golden eyes.

"These so-called 'talented individuals' may actually become Wyvern Knight in a short period of time."

"That's incredible."

His years of training experience were completely shattered.

These Wyvern are far more ferocious monsters than giant eagles, and controlling them is virtually impossible.

Even among the three hundred members of the former North Wind Eagle Guard, who had undergone more than ten years of training, only a handful of elites like him could achieve this.

And these two humans...

Their talent even made Alger question the meaning of life.
