Background

Tang San was an outer disciple of the Tang Sect in the Bashu Kingdom in his previous life. After violating the sect’s rules, he was forced to jump from Ghost’s Sorrow. Before that death, the Tang Sect and four other major sects declared war on Zhao Xiaotian’s Tai Chi Sect—a grievance that becomes the basis for Zhao Xiaotian’s hostility toward him. Tang San insists that he personally did not participate in the assault. 60 61

In his current life, Tang San studies at Nuoding Academy alongside Xiao Wu under Yu Xiaogang’s instruction. At age nine, he possesses level 16 Soul Power and experiences unexplained apprehension whenever he looks toward the Star Dou Great Forest. 9

Appearance

Tang San is initially described as an ordinary-looking young man with a solemn expression. After the Blue Silver King restores his Martial Soul, his appearance changes markedly. 36 86

  • Originally has short black hair and an unremarkable appearance. 36
  • Develops long, pale-blue hair after awakening his Blue Silver Emperor bloodline. 86
  • His revived Blue Silver Grass bears golden patterns. 86

Personality

Tang San is serious, focused, and intensely driven to gain strength. After Zhao Xiaotian shatters his Blue Silver Grass Martial Soul and cripples his left arm, his desire for power becomes the reason he accepts the Asura God’s inheritance. 36 61 63

He is also prideful and quick to anger when humiliated. He attacks Xue Beng with a Silent Sleeve Arrow after being insulted, and later directs his resentment toward Zhao Xiaotian and Feng Xiaotian after they reject and reprimand him. 44 103

Tang San can be calculating in combat. During Tang Hao’s clash with the Liu family, he considers poisoning or killing Zhao Xiaotian to create an opening for his father’s escape. 42
