Feng Qu Xian was a notorious martial artist of the late Previous Dynasty. A native of Qingzhou whose martial arts surpassed the Five Refinements, he founded the Demonic Sect, gathered evil cultivators, and became infamous for brutal, erratic conduct. His excesses eventually drew a joint campaign from righteous factions; the Demonic Sect was destroyed, while Feng Qu Xian was gravely wounded and disappeared 173.

His followers included the Five Demon Generals. Duan Tiangang, the “Greedy Demon,” was an ancestor of Duan Chonghe; the descendants of Feng Qu Xian’s old confidants preserved knowledge of his legacy and saw its recovery as their route back to prominence 279.

Feng Qu Xian prepared extensively for his fall. He established multiple false tombs and spread misleading treasure rumors, while leaving behind hidden texts, maps, black-sphere manifestations, and further contingencies whose full purpose remains unclear 140 172 301.
