At this moment, Wolf noticed something: seeing them "chatting," Little Red Riding Hood did not interrupt them and continued toward her grandmother's house.
Wolf immediately panicked. Just as he was about to speak, another piece of roast meat flew toward him. He instinctively pounced and caught it in his teeth, then wolfed it down in a few bites. He could not help it—it smelled far too good.
After finishing it, Wolf came to his senses and glared at Andrew. I'm a wolf, not a dog. Stop feeding me, you bastard. Though it really was delicious.
"Success."
Seeing Wolf swallow the roast meat, Andrew smiled and continued writing in his notebook.
Van Helsing and the others watched quietly from the side. They trusted the Director of S.W.O.R.D.; since he was doing this, he must have had a deeper reason. They only needed to wait for his orders.
In contrast, Chthon and the others were much more nervous. Though they did not know Andrew's intentions, they knew they could not be good for them. They had to stop him.
"How can we disrupt the Mechanical Demon King's plan?"
Chthon had an idea and suddenly shouted at Little Red Riding Hood, "Little Red Riding Hood, the scenery is so lovely, the sun is shining, and the birds are singing among the flowers. Don't you want to play a little longer?"
Chthon's thinking was simple. Andrew wanted to prevent the story from progressing, so Chthon would make sure it proceeded smoothly.
"The scenery is so lovely?"
Little Red Riding Hood paused, then asked warily, "Are you trying to lure me away so you can go after my grandmother? Oh no, I actually told you where my grandmother lives. I'm so stupid."
Chthon was stunned. Was that how the story went? Wade burst into laughter.
