"King of Negativity's Followers, you go first."
Demon took command without hesitation, but the twenty followers of the King of Negativity ignored him and looked toward the Communication Bird on the Many-Handed Commander's shoulder instead. They knew perfectly well who their real boss was.
Demon's expression darkened at the sight. I'm the captain, damn it! Without followers of my own, none of these people will listen to me.

The Communication Bird spoke, and the twenty followers nodded before charging at the battered robots.
Those battered robots were reasonably strong. Their physical prowess was at least on par with Captain America's, and they had steel physiques to boot. Had they appeared in a pre-apocalypse city, they would have posed a considerable threat.
But the King of Negativity's followers were no pushovers either. Every one of them was an elite, and they beat the robots back again and again, even sending parts flying.
"There's an Energy Core in their chests! Smash it, and you can kill them!"
One follower discovered the key and shouted it out. The robots began dying rapidly after that.
"Very good."
Demon nodded in satisfaction. Just then, he noticed that the Rune Woman possessed by Chthon looked utterly distraught. He couldn't help asking, "Chthon, what's wrong with you? Did something scare you? Aren't you being a little too cowardly?"
Everyone turned toward Chthon. He swore, "Fuck, haven't you noticed yet? These robots are all metal! Unless something unexpected happens, every monster coming next will be made of metal too."
