From the main room to the Thirteenth Room, he missed none of the details, as if he had personally walked through them all.
Train Grandpa had once said that the Third Room on the Small Train was the most unique, capable of moving freely. Li Banfeng felt that practicing the Connecting Bridal Chamber in the Third Room gave him the greatest hope of success.
In his mind, Li Banfeng understood the layouts of two rooms best.
One was the main room. Whenever he was home, he was always there with Wife. The tables in the room,
the chairs, the cabinets, even the decorations on the shelves—Li Banfeng knew them all extremely well.
The second most familiar room was the Thirteenth Room.
The Thirteenth Room had only appeared after he advanced to the Third Layer Above the Clouds. There was no furniture inside; it was utterly empty.
Li Banfeng wanted to switch the positions of these two rooms.
The key to switching them lay in the sequence and process within his mind.
He had to clearly establish the distance between their original positions and every detail, then carefully envision every step of exchanging the two rooms.
The process was profoundly unreasonable, but Li Banfeng had to make it reasonable within his own perception.
Fortunately, the Portable Abode itself was a train. Switching the positions of two carriages was, logically speaking, easier to envision.
He tried more than ten times without success. Li Banfeng locked horns with it, hiding in the Third Room without coming out. Holding his breath and concentrating, he practiced the technique for nearly two hours.
