He formed an oath with Ming Shuiyun and used his elective to teach students about inequality and the Silver Blood Society, leaving them with a promise to study Jing Qingfu next.

• Le Yu placed rankings and bounties through the Righteousness Guard, then set out to shape political and military decisions while pursuing his ambitions despite the dangers of the Sword Quest.
• Qin Yueshi began at the Royal Academy, where Ming Shuangli announced that seven imperial heirs were studying there and called on the students to help determine Radiance’s future.

Le Yu drew Qian Yuya into his family and revealed the truth behind the Echoes, while building alliances around Ming Shuiyun’s faction and the All-Knowing Eye examination. A white cat delivered a final proposal for cooperation, hinting that another kind of participant had entered the Sword Quest for Succession.

• Le Yu invited the Imperial Academy students to help refine Jing Zhengwei-ism, while Ming Shuangli’s questions led Qin Yueshi to suspect he had once disguised himself as a red-haired girl.

Qin Leyin manipulated the sword scabbards into fighting one another while delivering answers during the All-Knowing Eye examination. The scabbards accepted a temporary alliance, and Qin Leyin left with Ming Yueyan just as an unfamiliar woman warned him she was being hunted.

• Le Yu agreed to cooperate with Druid Cat Handler and Cai Nü, then took Shi Wen and Lai Ya as disciples and began their dangerous combat arts training.
• Le Yu revealed himself as the Hooded Man in class and used the push-up punishment to explain Jing Qingfu’s Wine Persuasion.
• As the All-Knowing Eye examination began, Le Yu entered the woods to disrupt the outside helpers and keep the sword scabbards from joining forces against his students.
• Le Yu convinced Mietangya, Cai Nü, Nieruo, and the hidden Instant Annihilator to accept a ceasefire, then secretly arranged for Nieruo and Mietangya to appear seriously injured.

After the All-Knowing Eye examination, Le Yu investigated the Heart-Linked Seals and confronted Thousand Faces, who revealed the source of her transformations and escaped. Meanwhile, Ning Xinyuan mistook Le Yu’s words to Yin as a confession, and Ming Yueyan began writing a story about Qin Leyin and Jing Zhengwei.

• Thousand-Faced impersonated Ming Shuiyun during the examination, but Qin Leyin exposed her and she escaped with Ming Yueyan.
• Ming Shuiyun won first place in the examination, and the Sword Bearer’s scoreboard publicly ranked her and Qin Leyin as Sword Masters and Sheaths.
• Le Yu searched Yan Yi’s research room and found an old letter linking her to Qin Xiao’s investigation of the Sacred Sword, then hid with Ning Xinyuan when visitors arrived.
• Yan Yi demonstrated the Heart-Linked Seal, and Le Yu realized that its communication function relied on Meteorite Luster Ore.
• Le Yu and Nieruo confronted Shang Lingyi, who revealed herself as Thousand Faces and explained that Water of Variants let her transform into people whose wishes she had fulfilled.
