Background / History

Ye Xian is a collateral descendant of the Ye Clan of Thousand Isles. She rejected the clan's seniority hierarchy, infighting, and incomplete inheritance practices, leaving home rather than remain bound to the family’s internal divisions. She regards the Nine Forms as a tool rather than an end in itself, believing the Ye Clan’s legacy should be adapted rather than worshipped. 434

She trained in the Yu school under Heavenly Furnace, who guided her early work on the Disintegration Art. Ye Xian later left the school and established herself independently because she could not tolerate Heavenly Furnace; she also formerly belonged to Nirvana. 310 320 436 968
