Background

Li Yuan was born into a merchant family. During a demonic upheaval, his family was destroyed; he survived only after martial artists from Jiujiang Commandery rescued a small group of civilians. Left alone and increasingly somber, he abandoned his family’s commercial path and joined Zhengyang Martial Arts School, believing that only power could prevent another tragedy. 1

His fortunes changed upon awakening Divine Wisdom, a talent that raises his comprehension to its current limit, lets him learn techniques at a glance, and allows arts with different attributes to coexist without conflict. He turned Cinnabar Palm from a foundational technique into the basis of his first Internal Energy, Shocking Force. 2
