Death Match

In the pouring rain, six people and one beast stood facing each other, the atmosphere dropping to freezing point.

Theresa, I hope those two minutes you mentioned are on time... Sheng Jiu chanted silently in his heart.

"Bronya, open fire!" Himeko gave the order first.

"Heavy Trooper Bunny 19C, fire!" The Heavy Trooper Bunny conjured a cannon in its left hand and fired a shell at the temple Honkai Beast.

The Honkai Beast extended the shield on its left arm to face the incoming shell. The surface of the shield split open from top to bottom, and a blast of cold blue air drifted out from the crack. The moment the shell touched the cold air, it was instantly frozen, turning into a large chunk of ordinary ice shards that fell to the ground.

"Leave it to me!" Kiana put down the Glock 18 in her hand, drew two futuristic-looking orange revolvers from her hip holster, and fired two fire bullets.

The two fire bullets hit the Honkai Beast's leg precisely. The latter cried out in pain, let out a roar, and then raised its sword-spear, firing a beam at Kiana.

Kiana dodged the beam with a sidestep. She looked back and saw that the ground hit by the beam had already frozen into a large block of ice. She patted her chest with lingering fear, "Phew, that was close, this young lady almost became a popsicle."

"But at least it shows this guy is afraid of fire!" Kiana displayed an uncharacteristic cleverness at this moment.

"Now it's our turn!" Anna and Yae Sakura raised their long swords and charged at the Honkai Beast that was lunging at Kiana.

A string of cherry blossom sword energy immediately shot towards the Honkai Beast's hind leg, piercing deeply into the weak point not covered by its armor.

"Silver Owl, draw your sword!" Anna chanted, and the pure white military saber in her hand seemed to have a life of its own. The blade madly sliced at the Honkai Beast's hind leg, and sky-blue bodily fluid instantly flowed from the wound.

The two quickly retreated to the rear, observing the Honkai Beast's movements. Unexpectedly, the Honkai Beast did not howl in pain holding its leg and die as Kiana had imagined. Instead, it accelerated forward as if nothing had happened.

"Damn it, let me!" Veins bulged on Himeko's forehead. She picked up the several-meter-long Sunfire Greatsword with one hand, tapped the ground with her toes, and instantly leaped into the air, smashing down fiercely towards the Honkai Beast's head.

With a loud bang, Himeko's seemingly unavoidable attack was blocked by the Honkai Beast's sword-spear at the critical moment.

"Teacher Himeko, be careful, Heavy Trooper Bunny, Fire!"

The Markov Type A in the Heavy Trooper Bunny's left arm transformed into a giant lance, charging forward to block the Honkai Beast's spear. The Honkai Beast furiously swung its sword energy, colliding with the lance and emitting a piercing metallic scraping sound. Kiana also seized the opportunity to use the Fire Fairy Type I to frantically fire flame bullets at the Honkai Beast's back.

Watching the two collide, Sheng Jiu gritted his teeth, "Damn it!" He pulled out a satchel from his waist, drew two vials, and injected them fiercely into his neck.

"Whoa, what are you doing!" Kiana was startled and rushed forward to stop Sheng Jiu, but it was too late.

After injecting two Honkai Energy Amplifiers, Sheng Jiu's eyes glowed with a scarlet red light. He gripped Jueying, switched the setting to the fourth gear, and a cold sneer appeared on his lips, "...Supernova Slash!"

As Sheng Jiu brought his arm down, a purple-blue sword energy erupted from Jueying's blade, charging towards the Emperor-class Honkai Beast.

The Honkai Beast sensed the immense pressure contained within this sword energy, so it fiercely struck the Heavy Trooper Bunny back with its sword, then turned its shield towards the incoming sword energy, intending to block it.

The sword energy exploded against the shield, accompanied by the sound of shattering glass shards. The shield on the Honkai Beast's left arm had already turned into a pile of ice shards.

Sheng Jiu collapsed to the ground, a trickle of blood seeping from his mouth, "...Tch, I thought it was that powerful, but it was still no match for me."
