"..."
Amamiya Natsuki quickly grabbed some clothes and pulled them on, then furrowed his brow slightly.
Something was off.
He should have appeared beside Chika when he teleported, yet there was no sign of Secretary Chika in the enormous classroom.
He looked around again, but Chika was still nowhere to be seen.
"Who are you, student?"
A female teacher in a suit and black-rimmed glasses stood up and questioned him sternly.
"I'm..."
Amamiya Natsuki was about to answer when he noticed an unfamiliar short-haired girl in the corner secretly winking at him. At the same time, she raised her right hand and discreetly wiggled her little finger.
"Hm?"
Amamiya Natsuki paused at the short-haired girl's signal, then quickly caught on.
"It's Chika."
"She didn't speak because she can't reveal her identity?"
His thoughts raced as he quickly considered why Chika had kept quiet instead of explaining who she was.
"Who exactly are you?"
The teacher's expression turned stern, and her eyes had already gone pitch-black.
"Hello, everyone. I'm terribly sorry to meet you under these circumstances." Amamiya Natsuki raised both hands and made a straight-faced excuse. "I'm a magician with two and a half years of practice. I was just practicing the art of teleportation, and accidentally teleported here."
"Is he lying?"
"For a magician to teleport, he'd need at least two prop boxes and a tunnel dug beneath them. That man just appeared out of thin air."
"Exactly. He's definitely not a magician. He's a wizard."
"..."
In response to the whispers around the classroom, Amamiya Natsuki remained composed.
"Since you're all questioning who I am, I'll just have to demonstrate vanishing into thin air again to prove my innocence."
Everyone turned curious eyes toward him. Even the teacher at the lectern temporarily stopped transforming into an evil spirit.
