Kaguya-sama Wants Me to Surrender

Shadow Chika nodded.

"I want to try some."

They'd already said it had a strange taste, and she still wanted to try it. Was that the persistence of a foodie?

"Here."

Amamiya Natsuki took out a bottle of the new potion and handed it to her.

"I won't drink it. This potion must be precious, right?" Shadow Chika shook her head, her expression calm. "If the president kisses me, I'll be able to find out what it tastes like."

Amamiya Natsuki: "..."

Who would've thought? You were actually really good at this!

With Kaguya and Chika around, kissing was out of the question. Amamiya Natsuki pretended he hadn't heard her, put the potion away, and asked:

"Has anyone had any side effects?"

Hayasaka Ai flashed a peace sign. Still using her voice-changing trick to fool Kaguya, she replied brightly:

"We got lucky. No side effects. Right now, it feels just like having night vision goggles on. I can see everything super clearly."

Yukinoshita Yukino folded her right arm across her chest and spoke softly.

"My body feels completely normal. It looks like I haven't had any side effects."

"That's good." Amamiya Natsuki looked at the Young Lady last. "What about you, Kaguya?"

"Today..." Shinomiya Kaguya pressed her rosy lips together. She had already checked her body several times, yet she still could hardly believe it. "It seems like nothing happened?"

Amamiya Natsuki sighed. "What a shame."

Shinomiya Kaguya couldn't help glaring at him. "You idiot, President! What are you regretting?"

Amamiya Natsuki's expression turned solemn. "You heard wrong. I said you were lucky today."

"Hmph."

Shinomiya Kaguya gave a soft huff, the corners of her rosy lips lifting slightly. She was in a good mood.

She was quite happy that, for once, drinking a potion hadn't caused any side effects.
