As he spoke, Amamiya Natsuki strode toward Hayasaka with a determined expression. Under the two boys' watchful eyes, he bowed and said:

Hayasaka Ai put away her phone, glanced at the two boys, then folded her arms across her chest.
"Sorry, but I'm turning you down."
The two boys weren't surprised.
A stranger you'd just met had come right out with a confession. You'd have to be crazy to say yes!
"What?" A delighted look spread across Amamiya Natsuki's face. "You said yes?"
She'd clearly said no. He'd heard her perfectly well, hadn't he?!
Amamiya Natsuki stepped closer, took Hayasaka's right hand, and said eagerly,
"Let's get married. I've already picked out our children's names."
Hey, hey, she'd already rejected you, and now you were holding her hand? You'd get arrested for harassment!
The two boys were already imagining Amamiya Natsuki's miserable fate as the police hauled him away. Yet, for some reason, a faint blush appeared on the golden-haired girl's fair, jade-white cheek. She neither pulled away nor called the police. She simply gave a soft huff and said,
"Let go of my hand."
"No." Amamiya Natsuki replied righteously, "You just agreed to go out with me. What's wrong with holding my own girlfriend's hand?"

"It's too hot outside. Let's go get something cold at the dessert shop."
