"Tsubame-senpai went into the sea to collect shells," Hayasaka Ai explained.
Seawater was corrosive, and staying in it too long could cause all kinds of harm to the body. So the girls wore Breathing Masks and took turns going underwater to catch seafood.
They called it fishing, but their main goal was to gather shrimp, crabs, and shellfish. An ordinary person couldn't really catch fish underwater with their bare hands.
"The agreed rotation time is ten minutes," Shinomiya Kaguya said softly. "Senpai should be back up soon."
Several more minutes passed, but senpai still hadn't surfaced. Amamiya Natsuki couldn't help worrying. Raising an eyebrow, he said,
"I'll go take a look underwater."
Shinomiya Kaguya nodded.
"Senpai went down over there. To be safe, I told everyone to stay within this area."

Amamiya Natsuki took off his clothes, walked to the water's edge, and dived straight in.
The seawater was cold.
Visibility was poor, but that didn't hinder Amamiya Natsuki.
Squinting, he searched the shallows first, but didn't find any sign of senpai.
"Did she go deeper?"
Murmuring to himself, Amamiya Natsuki searched for senpai, following the traces left on the seabed.
Before long, he spotted something pink floating on a reef nearby.
"Is this... senpai's underwear?"
Amamiya Natsuki swam over for a closer look and realized it was indeed a piece of underwear. His brow furrowed, and he quickly swam deeper.
He couldn't call out underwater, so he
