A tentacle was suddenly cleaved in half.
But the supernatural octopus clearly held a grudge. It didn't pull back its tentacle just because it was hurt. Instead, it kept attacking, sending even more tentacles sweeping toward him.
Crash!
The cabin door shattered.
Another enormous tentacle appeared behind Amamiya Natsuki.
The cabin was already cramped, and now it had completely blocked off all of Amamiya Natsuki's escape routes.
"Guess I have no choice."
Amamiya Natsuki sighed helplessly. He could only put away his axe and make a strategic retreat.
A glimmer flashed.
Amamiya Natsuki became shadow and vanished from the cabin.

The incoming tentacles collided. When they realized Amamiya Natsuki had disappeared, they whipped about furiously, destroying everything around them.
A moment later.
Amamiya Natsuki had already slipped outside the cruise ship, but his shadow form was reaching its time limit. He couldn't swim back to the beach in that state.
So Amamiya Natsuki left shadow form, put on his Breathing Mask, and swam away from the cruise ship.
He had only been swimming for a short while when he suddenly felt a sinister, terrifying gaze settle coldly on him. He instinctively turned around and saw a colossal shadow coiled around the cruise ship, glaring at him with its furious, crimson eye.
Buzz!
The instant their eyes met, Amamiya Natsuki felt a ringing in his head. A violent, irritable urge to destroy everything—including himself—surged through his mind. He hurriedly poured part of his consciousness into his Mud Clone/Avatar, suppressing the urge to destroy.
