Queen Mother of the West and the other Quasi-Saints questioned Ancestor Kirin about paths to Sainthood and Primordial Chaos Great Luo, learning that their chosen cultivation method had severe limitations. When they sought Dao Venerable for guidance, Qing Qiong turned them away but told Queen Mother of the West that an opportunity awaited her in the Netherworld.

• Queen Mother of the West asked Ancestor Kirin whether he had become a Saint without Primordial Violet Qi, and he explained that his path through Dao Fruits and the River of Heavenly Dao was unavailable to those who practiced Severing the Three Corpses.
• Ancestor Kirin told the Quasi-Saints that they could seek Earth Dao Sainthood through Pingxin, while Kunpeng was rebuked for his past role in the Demon Clan's attack on the Human Race.
• Ancestor Kirin explained that attaining Primordial Chaos Great Luo required condensing Primordial Chaos One Qi and warned that Severing the Three Corpses had cut off that path for most of them.
• Ming He returned to the Blood Sea to prove himself to Houtu, while Queen Mother of the West and the others decided to seek Dao Venerable for answers.

Qing Qiong rebuffed Kunpeng’s demand for guidance, then told Xuan Qing he was preparing to prove the Dao through the Method of Severing Three Bodies. Ancestor Phoenix parted from Kong Xuan to guard Immortal Volcano, while Haotian introduced Nine Heavens Xuan Nü to the Heavenly Court as its leading female immortal under Queen Mother Niang Niang.

• Queen Mother of the West flew to the Blood Sea, while Qing Qiong reassured the dejected Quasi-Saints that they need not worry about their future paths yet.
• Kunpeng begged Qing Qiong for guidance, but Qing Qiong struck him into the East Sea; Kunpeng then returned toward the North Sea to seek answers from a Primordial Saint.
• Qing Qiong returned to Azure Nether Island and told Xuan Qing that his three Obsessions had begun merging and that he was confident about proving the Dao.

Haotian expanded the Heavenly Court and offered rewards to recruit Immortal Officials, filling the court with new members. When Wudang and Nanji fought over the recruits, Haotian divided them between their factions but ended up publicly undermined by both.

• Haotian ordered the Heavenly Court's departments to expand and urged officials to recruit All Heavens Star Lords and other personnel for spiritual rewards.
• Immortal Officials recruited widely across the Prehistoric Era, and thousands of years later the Heavenly Court was packed with new members.
• Wudang and Nanji clashed over recruits at the South Heaven Gate, and Ran Deng used his Grand Luo Golden Immortal aura to overpower Wudang and the Jie Sect disciples.
• Haotian stopped Ran Deng and ruled that Wudang and Nanji's factions would each receive half the recruits.
• Nanji and Wudang left angrily, while the other Immortal Officials doubted Haotian's authority and he suppressed his anger to focus on the Heavenly Court's operations.

Haotian recruited cultivators as All Heavens Star Lords and brought them to Wang Shu to receive their positions. Wang Shu appointed Lu Ya Solar God to guard the restless Solar Star.

• Haotian offered stipends and Immortal Dao Fruit Positions, and the gathered immortals joined the Heavenly Court.
• Haotian told the star cultivators they would serve as All Heavens Star Lords and maintain the stars while cultivating there.
• Haotian led the candidates to the Lunar Star and asked Wang Shu to confer their positions; she agreed they could become Star Lords, but not Star Gods.
• Wang Shu bestowed 365 Jade Talismans, and the candidates imprinted their marks to become Star Lords.

Haotian restored the stars’ operation, while Wang Shu sent Lu Ya to guard the Solar Star and scolded Xi He for spoiling him. In the Outer Heavens, Luohu tried to retrieve the Chaos Bell, but Xuan Qing claimed it and took it away, leaving Di Jun disappointed about his brother Tai Yi.

• Haotian thanked Wang Shu, sent the star deities back to their posts, and left the Starry Sky.
• Wang Shu ordered Lu Ya to guard the Solar Star and told Xi He to stop leaving the Lunar Star without permission.
• Lu Ya arrived at the Solar God Palace, vowed to protect the Solar Star and Fusang Wood, and acknowledged that he could not help the Demon Clan.
• Luohu reached for the Chaos Bell in Chaos, but Xuan Qing struck his hand away and said the treasure already bore his mark.
• Xuan Qing took the Chaos Bell, and Luohu returned empty-handed while Di Jun’s hope of finding Tai Yi faded.

Xuan Qing revived Tai Yi and explained his connection to the Chaos Bell, then allowed him to live as a wandering cultivator in the Azure Nether Sea Domain. After Tai Yi left, Xuan Qing began restoring the nine Golden Crows Houyi had slain.

• Xuan Qing used the Law of Creation to revive Tai Yi, who thanked him and learned that Xuan Qing had been the Chaos Bell's master before Tai Yi obtained it.
• Xuan Qing told Tai Yi that Bai Ze and Ying Zhao had led surviving Demon Clan members to the West Sea, while the Witch Clan had withdrawn to guard the Netherworld.
• Tai Yi chose to leave his past behind and asked to stay at Xuan Qing's Dao Field, so Xuan Qing had Chong Shan settle him in the Azure Nether Sea Domain as a wandering cultivator.

Xuan Qing brought the resurrected Golden Crows to the Netherworld and began forging them into a Nether Sun, with Houtu and the Earth Dao helping to make it safe. As the work neared completion, Ksitigarbha vowed to remain in hell until it was empty, prompting Houtu to attack him and the Western Two Saints to intervene.

• Xuan Qing restored the nine Golden Crows' clarity, sent them to serve as Nether Suns until their sins were cleansed, and brought them to the Netherworld.
• Xuan Qing cut away much of the Golden Crows' bodies and used them with spiritual treasures to forge a star, while Houtu prepared to channel the Earth Dao's Origin into it.
• The Eye of the Earthly Dao infused the star and the Golden Crows with purple light, helping transform them into a Nether Sun that would not harm Underworld souls.
• Ksitigarbha delivered some trapped ghosts into Reincarnation, then vowed to remain in the Eighteen Levels of Hell until hell was empty.

Xuan Qing and Houtu stopped Zhunti and Jieyin from interfering with the Underworld, then confronted Ksitigarbha over his attempt to release hell’s evil ghosts. Xuan Qing appointed Ksitigarbha King of the Underworld and bound him to truly reforming the ghosts before they could enter Reincarnation.

• Houtu used the Earth Yellow Lotus to expel Zhunti and Jieyin’s power from the Netherworld and cut off their perception of it.
• Xuan Qing drove Zhunti and Jieyin back to the Western Lands and told Houtu to consider Queen Mother of the West for an Earth Dao Saint position.
• Xuan Qing and Houtu found Ksitigarbha in the Eighteen Levels of Hell and made him responsible for delivering the evil ghosts there.
• Xuan Qing placed an Immeasurable Mark in Ksitigarbha’s sea of consciousness and said the ghosts could enter Reincarnation only after genuine purification.

Xuan Qing and the Earth Dao created a Nether Sun, then discussed expanding the Netherworld’s sky with a moon and stars. As the Nether Sun illuminated the Underworld, Xiao broke through to the Primordial Origin Golden Immortal realm, bringing a Rain of Law and new vitality to the Netherworld.

• The Earth Dao finished transforming the sun and the nine Golden Crows, and Xuan Qing sent them to guide the Nether Sun across the Netherworld sky.
• Xuan Qing proposed creating a moon and stars for the Netherworld and persuaded Houtu and the Earth Dao to undertake the work.
• A phenomenon above the Underworld revealed that Xiao was breaking through, and Houtu barred the Witch Clan members from the Palace of Northern Yin.

• Xiao asked Xuan Qing whether his linked Auspicious Qi would prevent him from pursuing Primordial Chaos Great Luo, and Xuan Qing said it likely would not.
• Xiao asked when the Ancestral Witches would return so he could go back to watch over the Human Race, and Xuan Qing agreed that he should return.
• Xuan Qing summoned Gonggong and explained that Luohu's Demonic Dao Laws and the Chaos Demon Gods' resentment had left him badly damaged.
• Xuan Qing used the Law of Time and Space to destroy Gonggong's body, then used the Law of Creation to give him a Human-like body and a Primordial Spirit.
• Houtu accidentally slammed Gonggong into the ground with a blow, and Gonggong realized he could now cultivate through Xuan Qing's Method of Severing Three Bodies.

Xuan Qing traveled through the River of Time and Space, uncovered the mysterious figure who had rescued Karma, and retrieved the Ancestral Witches’ True Spirits. He restored Ju Mang, Ru Shou, and Qiang Liang, while the others wondered whether Di Jun and his allies could also return.

• Houtu speculated that Pangu had sealed the River of Time and Space, and Xuan Qing warned that a powerful figure guarded its true source.
• Xuan Qing saw a mysterious figure use a leaf to rescue Karma during the battle at Zhou Mountain, then struck at him with the Law of Time and Space as he fled.

Xuan Qing explained the Measure Tribulation to Xuan Ming and arranged for Wang Shu, Xi He, and Chang Xi to help build the Netherworld Starry Sky. Xi He and Chang Xi encountered the living Eastern Emperor Tai Yi at Azure Nether Sea Domain.

• Xuan Qing explained that the Heavenly Dao had made the Wu and Demon Measure Tribulation a selection process, and said the Earth Dao and Human Dao could correct its flaws.
• Xiao handed the Netherworld back to Houtu and left, while Houtu assigned Gonggong and the other Ancestral Witches the Palace of Northern Yin and Ten Halls of Yama duties.
• Xuan Qing brought Wang Shu to Ancient Xun Mu and asked her to help link the Starry Sky with the Netherworld; Wang Shu agreed.

Xi He and Chang Xi went to the Netherworld to carry out the Dao Venerable’s task, while a mysterious light entered Zhen Yuanzi and sent him into profound cultivation. In Pingxin Hall, the Earth Dao began a painful procedure on the two women, leaving their fate uncertain.

• Tai Yi told Xi He that the Dao Venerable had revived him, and Xi He took comfort in the hope that Di Jun might also be alive.
• Xi He and Chang Xi collected materials from Azure Nether Island and headed back to the Netherworld.
• A mysterious light flew from the Netherworld into Zhen Yuanzi’s sea of consciousness, filling him with insights into laws and prompting him to enter seclusion.

Houtu and the Earth Dao created Nether Moon using Xi He and Chang Xi’s Taiyin Origins, then Xi He reunited with her son Bo Huang on Nether Sun. Xi He and Chang Xi decided to remain in the Netherworld with their family.

• Houtu explained that creating Ming Yue required Xi He and Chang Xi’s Taiyin Origins, and the Earth Dao used them to form Nether Moon.
• Xi He and Chang Xi infused Nether Moon with Taiyin power, raising it into the Netherworld’s sky and calming Wrongful Death City.
• Xi He sensed Bo Huang on Nether Sun, reunited with him, and learned that her sons were suppressing their Karmic Sin in Nether Sun Palace.

• Xi He chose to remain in the Netherworld, and Houtu stopped its people from attacking when Ancient Xun Mu opened a passage in the sky.
• Xuan Qing helped Wang Shu channel starlight into the Netherworld and watched the Chan and Jie Sects’ factions disrupt the Heavenly Court.
• Haotian reduced the stipends of immortals who had neglected their duties, prompting Nanji and Wudang to lead their forces into Lingxiao Treasure Hall.
• Haotian threatened to use the Haotian Mirror to expose the immortals’ past actions, and they dropped their objections to the stipend cuts.

Nanji and Ran Deng planned to take control of the Thunder Department and enlisted Cihang to negotiate an alliance with Wudang. Wudang agreed to cooperate after demanding proof of Cihang’s authority, then sent Yunxiao a report about the meeting.

• Ran Deng advised Nanji to consolidate control of the Thunder Department, and the Chan Sect leaders decided to remove officials whose loyalty was uncertain.
• Cihang proposed that the Chan Sect seek Wudang’s help, and Nanji sent Cihang and three others to the Gouchen Emperor Palace.
• Wenshu and the other two Chan Sect disciples fought Jie Sect disciples at the palace gates, but Cihang intervened and apologized to Wudang.
• Cihang secretly proposed an alliance against Haotian, and Wudang agreed to provide three suspected officials’ names as a test of the Chan Sect’s sincerity.
• Wudang sent Yunxiao a report of the discussion through a Spiritual Treasure mirror.

Yunxiao and the Jie Sect disciples backed Wudang’s alliance with Nanji, and the two Great Emperors used a staged battle to purge Haotian’s agents from their ranks. Haotian realized his planted Immortal Officials had been killed and returned to the Lingxiao Treasure Hall furious.

• Yunxiao consulted the Jie Sect disciples, who supported Wudang cooperating with the Chan Sect, and she relayed their decision to Wudang.
• Wudang accepted Cihang’s request, and Nanji began targeting Immortal Officials in Wudang’s faction while secretly exchanging purge lists with her.
• Wudang and Nanji staged a fierce battle, killing Immortal Officials whose loyalties were unclear and Haotian’s planted agents.
• Haotian arrived with Nine Heavens Xuan Nü and the Grand White Gold Star, then realized the fallen officials were his own agents as Nanji and Wudang apologized and blamed petty provocateurs.

Haotian lost control of much of the Heavenly Court as Nanji and Wudang took over key departments, while Yaochi urged him to endure and wait for an opening. Xuandu and disciples of both the Chan and Jie Sects broke through to the Grand Luo Golden Immortal realm, ushering in a new era of cultivation, and Yunxiao confined her younger sisters to Golden Ao Island until they caught up.

• Xuan Nü left the Lingxiao Treasure Hall, and Yaochi persuaded Haotian to yield authority for now and conceal his plans until he could strike.
• Nanji and Wudang took control of the Thunder Department and Ministry of War, while Chan and Jie Sect disciples grew increasingly unruly in the Heavenly Court.
• Xuandu broke through to the Grand Luo Golden Immortal realm and asked Laozi to let him return to the Human Race, but Laozi told him to wait for the right time.
• Guang Chengzi and other Chan Sect disciples broke through to the Grand Luo Golden Immortal realm, delighting Yuanshi.
• Duobao, Jin Ling, Yunxiao, and other Jie Sect disciples also broke through, while Yunxiao ordered Qiong Xiao and Bi Xiao to remain on Golden Ao Island until they reached the Grand Luo realm.

Zhen Yuanzi attained Primordial Chaos Great Luo with the Earth Dao’s help and became the Dao Master of the Heavenly Human Dao. He blocked the western route through Longevity Mountain, then confronted Zhunti and Jieyin, who went to the Outer Heavens to negotiate.

• Yunxiao scolded her fellow disciples for neglecting their cultivation, while Maitreya and Medicine Master broke through to Grand Luo with Zhunti’s help.
• Xuan Qing and Wang Shu sensed the Netherworld shift as Longevity Mountain rose and Zhen Yuanzi attained Primordial Chaos Great Luo.
• Zhen Yuanzi declared himself Dao Master of the Heavenly Human Dao, and Xuan Qing explained that the Earth Dao had helped him attain the Dao.

Zhen Yuanzi crippled Zhunti with the Heaven and Earth Treasure Mirror and Houtu’s Primordial Heaven-Measuring Ruler, then went to the Netherworld to speak with Houtu. After Hongjun refused to help Zhunti and Jieyin, Jieyin returned to Mount Sumeru and found Karma alive despite his withered body.

• Zhen Yuanzi fought Zhunti and Jieyin with the Heaven and Earth Treasure Mirror, and Houtu sent him the Primordial Heaven-Measuring Ruler.
• Zhen Yuanzi broke through Zhunti’s defense and injured his thigh, forcing Jieyin to flee with him back to the Prehistoric Era.
• Houtu recalled the Primordial Heaven-Measuring Ruler and invited Zhen Yuanzi to the Netherworld for a discussion.

Karma revealed that Hongjun had placed the Western Lands’ earth-vein karma on Jieyin and Jieyin’s fellow disciple, leaving them burdened with repaying it. He compelled Jieyin to nourish a mysterious idol with faith, and the Weird Daoist sensed it from the Forbidden Land.

• Karma taunted Jieyin and explained that Hongjun had transferred the Western Lands’ earth-vein karma onto him and his fellow disciple in exchange for their Saint positions.
• Jieyin realized that Hongjun had treated them as tools and left the space after thanking Karma for revealing the truth.
• Karma blocked Jieyin and threatened his connection to the Heavenly Dao until Jieyin agreed to repay two karmic debts by nourishing an idol with faith and Auspicious Qi.
• Karma told Jieyin to leave the Mystic Gate to avoid Hongjun noticing, then his body withered and Jieyin departed with the idol.
• Karma showed the idol to the Weird Daoist, who sensed its connection from the Forbidden Land and said they should wait before setting out.

Jieyin and Zhunti left the Mystic Gate and established the Buddhist Sect, prompting Yuanshi to plan a gathering where disciples would challenge Buddhism. Guang Chengzi set out to invite the Saints and reached Tongtian's East Sea domain, where he saw a prison for unruly disciples.

• Jieyin returned to Mount Sumeru with a divine statue, and he and Zhunti swore to leave the Mystic Gate and establish the Buddhist Sect, dividing some of its Auspicious Qi.
• Yuanshi prepared to attack Jieyin and Zhunti, but Laozi stopped him and warned against conflict between the Heavenly Dao and Earth Dao Saints.

Guang Chengzi delivered Primordial Heavenly Venerate's invitation to the Saints and powers in the East Sea for a Dao discussion. Jie Sect agreed to attend despite Tongtian's seclusion, while the chapter left Candle Dragon questioning why Yuanshi had invited Zu Long.

• Guang Chengzi presented Yuanshi's invitation to Yunxiao and Gui Ling, who explained that Tongtian was in seclusion and brought it to Duobao and the others.
• Yunxiao suspected the Dao discussion was a pretext to suppress the Buddhist Sect, and Duobao decided Jie Sect would attend together.
