Lu Yue’s plague and the arrival of Yin Hong and Ma Yuan brought Xiqi to the brink, but Yang Jian helped defeat the threats and Wenshu sent Yin Hong onto the Investiture of the Gods. Su Hu then defected to Zhou, while Winged Immortal’s self-destruction devastated the battlefield and left Yin Jiao headed to Zhaoge seeking revenge.

• Su Hu marched Jizhou’s army toward Xiqi while secretly arranging to surrender, and Huang Feihu became suspicious of his plans.
• Lu Yue and his disciples spread plague through Xiqi, but Yang Jian obtained pills from True Man Yuding, cured the city, and helped defeat Lu Yue’s disciples.
• Yin Hong joined the Shang Army and defeated Xiqi’s generals, while Ma Yuan killed Wu Rong and captured Tu Xingsun before Deng Chanyu wounded him.
• Yang Jian and the Xiqi forces trapped Ma Yuan, but Saint Zhunti took him away, and Wenshu later defeated Yin Hong and placed him on the Investiture of the Gods.
• After Yin Hong died and the Shang camp lost its stabilizing force, Su Hu killed Yin Hong’s loyal generals, captured Zheng Lun, and surrendered his troops to Xiqi.
• Deng Chanyu helped defeat Zhang Shan’s last resistance, while Winged Immortal attacked Xiqi and fought Ran Deng and Maitreya before destroying himself.
• Shen Gongbao and Yin Jiao met outside Zhaoge, where Shen Gongbao recounted the deaths of the Jie Sect fighters and Yin Jiao entered the palace to seek revenge on King Zhou.

Yin Jiao’s Human Emperor Banner briefly checked Xiqi, but his death and Hong Jin’s defection weakened Great Shang. At Golden Rooster Ridge, Kong Xuan challenged Zhunti before Qing Qiong intervened, and Xiqi broke through the pass and advanced to Jiameng Pass as Holy Mother of Fire Spirit set out to aid its defenders.

• Yin Jiao led Great Shang’s army against Xiqi and used the Human Emperor Banner to suppress the Zhou immortals, but Guang Chengzi supplied Jiang Ziya with two banners that enabled the Zhou forces to kill him.
• After Ji Fa was nearly consumed by the Human Emperor Banner, Hong Jin held the Shang camp against Xiqi until Princess Longji captured him, married him, and persuaded him to submit to Zhou.
• Jiang Ziya organized the Eastern Expedition while Master Tongtian sent the Jie Sect’s disciples to aid Great Shang, and King Zhou regained his resolve after Golden Phoenix counseled him.
• Kong Xuan and the Phoenix Clan halted Xiqi at Golden Rooster Ridge, where Kong Xuan drove back Ran Deng and Maitreya and then confronted Zhunti.
• Kong Xuan fought Zhunti with his Five-Colored Divine Light and Five Elements Dao Domain until Zhunti’s Seven Treasures Wonderful Tree gravely wounded him.
• Qing Qiong rescued Kong Xuan, revealed him as his disciple, and persuaded Zhunti to withdraw from Golden Rooster Ridge in exchange for Kong Xuan’s retreat.
• After Kong Xuan and Zhunti withdrew, Ran Deng, Maitreya, and the Chan Sect defeated the Phoenix Clan and broke the pass, allowing Jiang Ziya to march east toward Jiameng Pass.
• Hu Sheng urged the generals at Jiameng Pass to surrender, but Hu Lei refused, requested aid from Biyou Palace, and prepared to defend against the Zhou army as Holy Mother of Fire Spirit approached with three thousand Wind-Fire Divine Soldiers.

The Four Saints drew the Heavenly Court into the God Conferment war and confronted Tongtian’s formations, while Nuwa protected the Mortal Realm from their clashes. The Immortal Slaying Sword Formation and Myriad Immortals Great Formation fell, and countless Interception Sect disciples entered the Investiture of the Gods as a mysterious figure emerged from the ruins.

• Guang Chengzi killed the Holy Mother of Fire Spirit, and Jiang Ziya’s army captured Jiameng Pass, Azure Dragon Pass, and Sishui Pass on its advance toward Zhaoge.
• Tongtian formed the Immortal Slaying Sword Formation outside Xiqi, and the Four Saints made plans to break it with help from the Heavenly Court and other forces.
• Haotian and Yaochi joined the war, while Nuwa established a Human Dao barrier that protected mortals from the immortals’ battles.
• The Four Saints and their disciples attacked the Immortal Slaying Sword Formation, and Haotian and Yaochi shattered the Myriad Immortals Great Formation’s reinforcement.
• Xuandu and three companions removed the formation’s four swords, after which Haotian and Yaochi struck Tongtian down and Laozi began breaking the Myriad Immortals Great Formation.
• Laozi restrained Tongtian as Yuanshi killed countless Interception Sect disciples, whose souls rose toward the Investiture of the Gods.
• Duobao, Holy Mother Jin Ling, and Wudang Holy Mother survived, while Yunxiao entered the list and Duobao grieved for the fallen disciples.
• The Seven Attendants of the Immortal emerged from beneath the ruins, followed by a tall unnamed figure whose Dao foundation and immortal reserves appeared intact.

After the Interception Sect escaped the Saints’ plot, King Zhou revealed that Great Shang’s apparent decline had been a disguise and defeated Xiqi’s armies. The Saints renewed their attack, but the Phoenix Clan joined Great Shang as the forces converged on Zhaoge.

• Immortal Dingguang betrayed the Interception Sect by handing Daoist Zhunti the Six Soul Banner, and Tongtian broke free before Nuwa uncovered the alien power that had corrupted him.
• Xuan Qing reunited with Tongtian and the surviving disciples on Azure Nether Island, explained that the calamity had concealed the Interception Sect’s strength, and warned that the War of Chaos was approaching.
• Jiang Ziya marched on Zhaoge, but King Zhou challenged Xiqi’s accusations and exposed the Three Demons as the force behind Daji’s crimes before killing them with the Human King Sword.
• Huang Feihu led Great Shang’s forces against Xiqi, while he and Huang Tianhua burned the enemy’s supplies and joined Li Jing and Queen Jiang to encircle and rout the Zhou army.
• Jiang Ziya reported Great Shang’s unexpected strength to Primordial Heavenly Venerate, who ordered the Chan Sect back into the war and confronted Jieyin and Zhunti over their failed plans.
• The Saints discovered that King Zhou had staged Great Shang’s decline, but the Human Dao shielded Zhaoge and an azure Dao resonance thwarted Zhunti’s attempt to control him.
• Nuwa summoned the Phoenix Clan to defend Great Shang, and King Zhou’s forces reorganized as Jiang Ziya led Chan Sect and Buddhist armies toward Zhaoge.
• King Zhou sent Huang Feihu and Li Jing to form a defensive line, while Immortal Golden Phoenix brought the Phoenix Clan above Zhaoge in a vast sea of fire that halted Xiqi’s advance.
