Haotian restored order in Heaven as the Yang family and the Human Race challenged the Heavenly Rules, while the coming God Conferment drew Jiang Ziya, Shen Gongbao, Nezha, and King Zhou into the conflict. The volume ended with King Zhou explaining the coming calamity to Li Jing and Great Shang preparing for its role in it.

  • Dapeng signed the Investiture of the Gods, and Yunxiao proposed that Jie Sect disciples fake their deaths as Ancestor Kirin secured White Tiger’s help.

Arc 33Haotian and the Yang Family

Haotian returned to power and upheld the Heavenly Court’s authority by sentencing Yao Ji, while the Yang siblings found powerful protectors and resolved to rescue her. In the Jin Shui Treasure Pavilion, Yang Mei and his allies organized a plan to gather Chaos worlds and fought off Karma, Destiny, and Heavenly Prison City’s forces.

  • Dapeng signed the Investiture of the Gods, and Yunxiao proposed that Jie Sect disciples fake their deaths to enter the list as Ancestor Kirin secured White Tiger’s help.
  • At Zixiao Palace, Hongjun set the terms for filling the list, sent Nuwa to bring Haotian back, and ordered the God Conferment war to begin when the Flying Bear was born.
  • Nuwa restored Haotian’s memories, and he returned to the Heavenly Court, broke through to the Eighth Heaven of Sainthood, and restored its order.

Arc 34The Flying Bear's Choice

Yang Jian and his siblings freed Yao Ji with the Human Race’s support, prompting Nuwa to amend the Heavenly Rules. Years later, Jiang Ziya and Shen Gongbao joined the Chan Sect, but Shen Gongbao defected to the Jie Sect as the Investiture of the Gods approached, while King Zhou’s visit to Nuwa Palace left him transfixed.

  • Yang Jian, Yang Jiao, and Yang Chan failed to reach Yao Ji at Peach Mountain, then sought help from Da Yu and received the Mountain Splitting Axe after it chose Yang Jian.
  • The siblings returned to Peach Mountain, where they fought the Heavenly army until Cangjie intervened and challenged Zhunti and Jieyin in Chaos.

Nezha’s reckless actions brought conflict with the Dragon Clan and Shi Ji, ending in his death and resurrection through Nuwa’s intervention. After Nezha reconciled with Ao Bing, Li Jing reached Zhaoge, where King Zhou began explaining the coming calamity and Great Shang’s role in it.

  • Consort Yang helped Yin Jiao and Yin Hong escape Zhaoge, and Kong Xuan rescued them, revealed the immortals’ scheme, and accepted them as disciples.
