"Alright, I've already told you how to solve the problem. Why are you still sitting here doing nothing?" Sandman asked in confusion.
Logically, the problem of faster-than-light travel had been solved. All that remained was to leave it to time. The Emperor should have been very satisfied with this harvest.
"The problem of faster-than-light travel has been solved," the Emperor said expectantly as he looked at Sandman, "but has the problem of interstellar travel also been solved in the future?"
Good grief, was he treating me like a search engine?
"You must be dreaming. Solving even one of them means the Milky Way has already favored humanity enough. Humanity itself just failed to measure up. As for interstellar communication, there really isn't a solution for that anytime soon. Either way, there's the risk of information leaks, so I wouldn't recommend it." Sandman thought carefully and realized there really was one possible temporary substitute.
"Tell me. It may not necessarily be usable, and even if it is, we still need to consider the cost. Perhaps it might even inspire something else." The Emperor had not expected there to actually be an answer. This harvest had exceeded his expectations countless times over.
"Korax really is my lucky star." The Emperor felt increasingly pleased with his nineteenth son. As for fooling him with that Power Whip before, the Emperor had long since tossed it to the back of his mind.
"Pharos Lighthouse." Sandman spoke the name of a strange device.
"You mean the Necron Pharos Lighthouse that eventually drew in the Tyranids?" The Emperor frowned after searching his memories for the name.
The Pharos Lighthouse was a large Necron communications node. With Necron communication technology, cross-sector communication truly would not be a problem.
But just as Sandman had said, there was a possibility
