Chen Qing awakens injured in Uncle Po’s fisherman's hut after a star rain over Falling Star Lake. His memories are fragmented; he cannot determine whether he has been reborn or reincarnated, and he recognizes that this martial world is not the one he knew. The only clear remnant of the incident is the burning star mark on his left palm. 1
