They could be used to craft a chestplate and leggings, and came with enchantments that made them as protective as Diamond Armor.
Gu Yu already had an Alloy Set, so he didn't need them.
He put everything into his inventory and looked at the notification before him.
"Copper and pumpkin resources?"
One was a food, the other a brand-new mineral resource.
Copper had been added to the game in an update some years ago, so it had been around for quite a while.
Like most ores, it could be used to make swords, axes, and armor. More importantly—

Of course, before challenging it, the more important thing was to find it.
This was when the importance of the Magic Map became clear.
It was easy to craft: one Magic Map Core and eight sheets of paper.
Paper required Sugarcane, which he'd already looked for and planted in the resource zone, so he had plenty.
All he needed now was a Magic Map Core.
It sounded powerful, but all it required was Glowstone Dust, Crow Feathers, and Torch Berries.
Glowstone was everywhere in the Nether, and he'd prepared some in advance. The other two materials came from the Twilight Forest.
They weren't hard to get. Crows were everywhere, and one sword strike was enough to kill one. Torch Berries grew in dark caves and gave off a very noticeable glow.
Once he had gathered everything, a blank Magic Map appeared.
When he took it out, it automatically filled in the surrounding area. The boss's location appeared, and Gu Yu's eyes lit up.
"There's a Lich Tower just to the left. Let's go!"
After running a safe distance away, Gangcun Kuzi let out a sigh of relief.
Once he was sure Gu Yu was nowhere nearby, he put on a confident air.
"Killing a boss in one hit is no big deal. He just had good gear and a good weapon. Give me good equipment and I could do it too!"
The Samurai Nation's viewers all agreed.
"Exactly! That was an Epic Weapon, the Heavy Hammer. Of course it was powerful!"
"If Gangcun-kun had it, he'd have cleared the game by now!"
"That should have been ours in Smida, but those despicable Jiuzhou thieves stole it!"
"We have to make him pay and avenge Park Sam-chang!"

The furious viewers from the Stick Nation sent a string of complicated comments no one could understand.

After venting, Gangcun Kuzi headed in the other direction.
Waiting for the zombies to burn was out of the question. Since no one would dare enter the Twilight Forest at night, he might as well make progress and kill some bosses.
He soon found the Naga Courtyard from before. He quietly patched up the outer wall with blocks first, to keep the zombies from sneaking in.
Gangcun Kuzi took a deep breath and faced the green serpent.
His Iai Sword activated, its steel-colored blade gleaming.
He'd fought the Naga for a whole day already, so he knew its attacks well.
"Watch its body! It's about to charge—dodge!"
Gangcun Kuzi barely evaded the Naga's charge. Covered in dirt, he scrambled to his feet and rushed in to attack.
The battle lasted half an hour.
Gangcun Kuzi was covered in wounds, with blood everywhere. His iron armor had been worn through in several places, and its durability was nearly gone.
In the end, drawing on the experience he'd accumulated, Gangcun Kuzi managed to win.
"I won!"
The last section of the green serpent's body was broken, and the Naga fell.
Gangcun Kuzi picked up the drops and was overjoyed.
"Scales? You can make a chestplate with these!"
The Naga Spoils were just a useless decoration, but turning the Naga Scales into armor would directly boost his combat strength!
The comfortable snakeskin armor was lighter than iron armor, offered better defense, and came with extra protection from fire.
It would keep him safe from fire damage!
With his new gear, Gangcun Kuzi no longer feared the Zombie Horde, even after leaving the courtyard.
The zombies' attacks did far less damage, and Gangcun Kuzi finally had some ability to survive the night!
