Vampiric Scepter!
It's also one of the divine artifacts of the Twilight Forest.
It can inflict knockback, slowness, damage, and other effects on enemies.
Most importantly, it absorbs enemy status effects and adds them to itself!
Health, hunger, all can be gained through the Vampiric Scepter!
To put it dramatically, with this, Gu Yu won't need to bring food anymore. If he gets hungry, he can just find any creature!
"Another divine artifact!"
Gu Yu became even happier.
The Lich dropped four types of staffs: Dusk, Zombie, Vampiric, and Shield.
Among them, the Vampiric staff was the strongest, but its drop rate was worrying. In the past, he didn't know how many times he had to kill it in the game to find one.
Now, it's all done in one go!
He casually tried it out, putting everything back into his backpack.
Although he lost the first-kill reward, the Lich's good loot was no less than the Naga's!
Leaving the tall tower, Gu Yu looked at the map in his hand.
The third boss was the Minotaur Mushroom, which lived in the Minotaur Labyrinth.
It happened to be right next to the Lich Tower, so he rushed over.
A large, protruding mound of earth, with vines leading straight down from the center, hidden within the soil.
Inside was where the Minotaur Mushroom resided.
Before entering, he needed to craft something: a Magic Map Core.
He had made one when he first entered the Twilight Forest and was familiar with the process. Unlike the Twilight Map, the World Map required a circle of paper, while the Maze Map Core required a circle of logs.
He transformed the Magic Map Core into a Maze Map Core using a circle of logs, then filled the surrounding area with nine sheets of paper.
Maze Map, success!
To be safe, he made two of them and jumped into the labyrinth.
The Minotaur Mushroom itself wasn't strong, easier to deal with than the Naga, but finding it was more complicated.
It required navigating the maze, which was a time-consuming task.
"There's also a divine artifact in the maze. I hope my luck is good enough to get it."
Gu Yu began his search in the maze.
Meanwhile, the old man with blond hair spied on Gu Yu's fighting style.
After cursing the intelligence department, he immediately sent a notice to Mark and the other two.
[Magic Orbs can bounce back to break shields. In the second phase, you can hide in a corner, use blocks to shield yourself from enemies, and kill zombies during the openings.]
"Jet, that's great, there are Health Potions here!"
The Lich Tower had many small, independent studies filled with bookshelves.
Within some of these bookshelves, treasure chests were hidden.
They contained many potions, and Mark found a Health Restoration Potion.
Except for Gu Yu, this was a divine artifact for all other contestants!
In the Block World's mechanics, monsters are reset every night, and some monsters disappear during the day due to burning.
However, some are not afraid of sunlight, like Creepers and spiders.
To develop, one inevitably has to interact with them, and development is impossible without combat.
Where there is combat, there will be casualties; breaking a leg or an arm is very common.
Minor wounds can be slowly healed with food, but for severe injuries like severed limbs, it's very difficult to recover with just food.
At this point, Health Restoration becomes extremely crucial.
It can regrow broken legs and regenerate severed limbs, like a miracle!
Gu Yu, however, didn't need these.
With the Steve Physique, "My code is superior to yours!"
He wouldn't break limbs or legs, so he didn't need to worry about recovery. Health Restoration, in his hands, was simply Health Restoration.
He gave Jet a potion to drink, restoring his broken bone.
"Magic Orbs can break shields. Let's go, we're fighting our way back!"
Knowing the mechanics and even receiving a tip for the second phase, Mark was full of confidence.
This time, they went upstairs very cautiously, deliberately avoiding pitfalls and safely reaching the tower's summit.
Raise the Shield, clang!
A blue Magic Orb was parried, successfully hitting the Lich and breaking a layer of its shield.
"It really works!"
Exchanging a glance with Jet, the two immediately launched a coordinated attack.
Then.
They were dumbfounded.
Blue Magic Orbs could be easily parried; Shields, bows and arrows, and longswords could all trigger it.
But the Lich didn't just throw blue Magic Orbs; it also threw more dangerous orange-red ones.
These things would explode immediately upon contact.
It was fine if a Shield blocked it, with a chance to parry and block damage, but if not blocked...
Thrown while the Shield was on cooldown, Mark instinctively parried with his longsword.
BOOM!
An explosion erupted from the sword. The recoil sent him staggering back several steps, almost making him drop the longsword in his hand.
[-10!]
Even with the Naga armor protecting him, it still blew away half his health!
If another red Magic Orb came, he'd be blown to death!
"Why are there red Magic Orbs too?"
Caught off guard, Mark hurriedly dug out an area and hid.
He ate until his Satiety was full, then used potions to restore his health.
Re-entering the fray, Jet rushed over.
"I can't hold on anymore!"
Sending Jet to recover, Mark faced the Lich alone.
If it were just one Lich, he could indeed handle it. The problem was there were four of them now.
Each one, though slightly dimmer in color, was no different from the main Lich.
They could cast Magic Orbs, they could cast explosions.
Standing in the center, he had to face Magic Orb attacks from all four directions!
The battle grew more intense, and Mark felt increasingly dizzy.
He already had trouble controlling his parries, and then there were the red Magic Orbs that couldn't be parried at all. His mind was in a mess, and his body was exhausted.
Finally, he jumped out of the tower top and hid with Jet inside a Block.
The Kyushu audience let out relieved laughter.
"That scared me! I thought they were really stealing Gu Yu's methods!"
"So what if you know the tricks? It's like your strength can pass the trial!"
"The second stage is skill, the first stage is strength. Do you have the strength to learn from Gu Yu?"
"This is more like it for a boss. Watching Gu Yu's play, you'd really think the Lich wasn't strong!"
"Too bad the Lich can't destroy Blocks, otherwise they'd be blown to death!"
"This is hilarious!"
The second stage Block was a trick. Gu Yu's first-stage technique couldn't be faked.
Being able to dodge the attacks of four Liches, and mastering the parry angles to hit the Lich's body in the right position.
These couldn't be compensated for in a short time; they required accumulation.
Previously, they only focused on the tricks, but now the audience understood.
Gu Yu's understanding of combat was also very strong!
It would take time and practice to have any hope of defeating the Lich.
Ensuring their own safety, the two began to learn slowly.
Looking across the Blocks, those progressing faster were killing Nagas and searching for Liches.
The slower ones were still wandering in resource areas, the Nether, and so on. Overall, they were divided into three tiers.
Gu Yu in the labyrinth was in a league of his own. Others were in T1 or T2 stages depending on their dimensions.
Most were in the time-consuming process, and it was soon.
The sky darkened again.
Park Sam-chang ran back home from the resource area, letting out a long sigh of relief.
"Today I dug up two more pieces of Dirt and one Hay Block!"
Hay Blocks are used to store Komugi, providing food.
He can then feed the Mushroom Cows and other animals.
Through his efforts, Park Sam-chang's farm grew larger and larger.
Besides Mushroom Cows, he also found eggs, hatched chicks, and built a chicken coop.

Watching the saplings grow and the Blocks getting bigger, he was satisfied.
"He's been building that damn wall every day, I don't understand what Gu Yu is doing."
By blocking it with stone walls in advance, Park Sam-chang couldn't see the Floating Island clearly.
Bored at night, he could only lie down and look at the sky.
"The Zombies seem to have gotten more numerous lately... Huh? Why is the moon so red?"
Staring at the sky, a line of small text suddenly appeared.
[Blood Moon!]
