Even the teachers at the registration desk wore complicated expressions.

The registration teacher didn't understand what was going on, but still let Ye Fan into the exam hall.

When Sasuke saw Kabuto enter, he hurried over to him.

Kabuto had gathered a great deal of information about the ninjas from each village, almost everyone's profile.

"Give me the information on Gaara from Sunagakure, Rock Lee, and Uchiha Ye Fan!"

Sasuke was furious, and his tone was almost a command.

Kabuto smiled at him. He wasn't angry, nor did he refuse. He took out two cards and set them on the floor.

One card had a photo of Gaara, and the other had one of Rock Lee.

"What about Uchiha Ye Fan?" Sasuke asked, frowning in displeasure.

"I don't have any information on him. Uchiha Ye Fan seemed to appear out of nowhere. I never had a chance to gather anything about him."

"Hmph!" Sasuke snorted and carefully studied the information on Gaara and Rock Lee.

At first, Gaara had been the only opponent on Sasuke's mind for this Chunin Ninja Exam. But the arrival of Rock Lee and Ye Fan had changed his plans.

Ye Fan's appearance in particular had stirred up the hatred in his heart.

After reading the information, Sasuke turned his icy gaze toward Ye Fan, sitting in the corner. Killing intent filled his eyes.

Ye Fan met Sasuke's gaze and smiled helplessly.

He suddenly felt as if an ant had threatened him.

Ye Fan wouldn't have cared even if Sasuke had been at his peak, with the Rinnegan—not to mention as a child.

Though Ye Fan's current strength was only on par with Son Goku's when he first arrived on Namek, it was still beyond anything they could shake.

In the face of absolute power, all ninjutsu was a cloud, flimsy as paper that could be pierced with a single poke.

At first, the thing Ye Fan feared most was Genjutsu.

But after fighting Uchiha Itachi when he was a little over three years old, and growing stronger ever since, he had stopped fearing any kind of Genjutsu.

On the platform, Naruto stood with his head lowered, his whole body trembling.

Sakura thought he was scared after seeing so many powerful opponents for the first time.

"Ye Fan!"

Seeing Ye Fan walk toward him, Naruto shouted excitedly.

Ye Fan smiled and pulled Naruto close to him. Pointing at everyone present, he declared, "Everyone here is trash!"
