The Beginning of the Great War

"My friends, it's a pleasure to see you all again." After Thor, wielding Mjolnir, used the power of thunder to flip a large group of Chitauri, he looked at Andrew and Electro who had arrived.

"Let's regroup after the fight. The enemy's elite troops are heading our way," Electro calmly stated, looking at the approaching Chitauri army.

The Leviathan circled in the air, its massive body casting a huge shadow. Its armor was incredibly tough, and ordinary bullets and missiles could barely penetrate it. Thor swung Mjolnir and charged at the Leviathan, channeling his lightning power into the hammer to form a powerful energy attack. He unleashed a lightning strike, blasting open the Leviathan's armor, but it persisted, counter-attacking Thor.

The appearance of the Chitauri Giant Apes added to the chaos on the battlefield. They were enormous, ferocious creatures with bulging muscles and incredible strength. Andrew used his telekinesis to restrict the giant apes' movements, preventing them from threatening Thor. Meanwhile, Electro unleashed a lightning attack, showering the giant apes with powerful electrical energy from the sky, repelling them.

Chitauri Flying Chariots weaved through the battlefield at high speed, firing energy cannons at Thor, Andrew, and Electro. Thor used his thunderous power to shatter the flying chariots' energy cannons, while Andrew used telekinesis to shove one chariot into another. Electro, through rapid movement and an energy shield, successfully dodged the chariots' attacks.

The battle entered a white-hot phase. Thor swung his hammer, Electro unleashed lightning, and Andrew used telekinesis. They fought in coordination, attempting to overcome the might of the Chitauri elite legions.

The Leviathan charged at Thor again, its massive body exerting immense pressure. Thor, undeterred, used the power of his hammer to push the Leviathan back, then slammed the hammer forcefully onto its head, smashing it into the ground with devastating force.

The Chitauri Giant Apes were restrained by Andrew's telekinesis.

"Spear of Zeus." A sharp, lightning-shaped bolt of energy pierced the Chitauri Giant Ape's body, sending it crashing to the road.

Thor raised Mjolnir high, bravely meeting the Leviathan's charge. He swung his hammer, unleashing powerful lightning energy that struck the Leviathan's armor, creating a massive explosion.

The ruthless Electro displayed his cold demeanor and immense power. He unleashed a powerful electric shock with his energy, arcs of current forming in the air and striking a Chitauri Flying Chariot. The current instantly paralyzed the chariot's electronic systems, causing it to lose balance and plummet to the ground.

However, the Chitauri legions continued to arrive in reinforcements, their numbers and onslaught increasing the pressure on Thor, Andrew, and the ruthless Electro. They had to divide their attention to deal with attacks coming from different directions.

"Is this what war is like?" Andrew asked, looking at the ever-increasing number of Chitauri, his heart beginning to feel uneasy.

Thor continuously unleashed thunderous energy, repelling the Leviathan and other Chitauri soldiers. His hammer swung like the wind, each blow delivering immense impact.

Andrew's telekinesis created powerful energy waves, sending the Chitauri Giant Apes flying. He used his telekinesis to control objects, reflecting the enemies' attacks back at them.

Electro protected himself with an energy shield while attacking the Chitauri legions with high-speed movement and powerful electric shocks. His energy bursts were almost unstoppable, felling enemies to the ground.

"There are too many, just us." Andrew waved his right hand, a telekinetic shield blocking the Chitauri's ranged rifle fire aimed at him.

"And Tony's Iron Legion. Don't worry, I can fight like this for eternity," Thor said, swinging Mjolnir as thunderous power brought down a large group of Chitauri soldiers.

"General, the Iron Legion is in position," Jarvis's voice announced.

In an instant, their bodies were covered in sturdy armor, equipped with various powerful weapon systems.

Jarvis directed the armors' movements, dispersing them to all corners of the encirclement, forming an impenetrable iron defense line.

Chitauri infantry launched fierce attacks, wielding arm cannons and forearm guns, firing energy blasts at the Iron Armors. However, the Iron Armors' armor was incredibly strong, and the energy blasts barely caused any damage on their surfaces. The Iron Armors responded with powerful lasers, missiles, and energy waves, taking down the Chitauri infantry one by one.

The Leviathan beast stomped the ground, charging. Its massive body and tough armor inflicted damage on the Iron Armors. However, the Iron Armors retaliated simultaneously with lasers and missiles. Explosions and fire erupted throughout the city, turning the battlefield into chaos.

The rampaging Chitauri Giant Apes also posed a threat to the Iron Armors. The apes' immense strength and ferocious attacks knocked some Iron Armors to the ground. However, Jarvis immediately dispatched other armors to provide support. They launched a coordinated attack, trapping the giant ape. Beams of laser and waves of energy blasted towards the giant ape, ultimately defeating it.

Chitauri Flying Chariots continuously fired energy cannons from the air, launching long-range strikes at the Iron Armors. The Iron Armors nimbly dodged the energy blasts and fired missiles and lasers, shooting down the chariots. The chariots exploded in the air, crashing to the ground. However, due to the intensity of the firepower, the Iron Armors also sustained varying degrees of damage.

The battle continued for some time, with both sides paying a heavy price. City buildings were destroyed, and ruins and smoke filled the battlefield.

"What is that?" Tony Stark, with his sharp eyes, suddenly noticed some strange creatures beginning to attack the Chitauri army.

Zombie Dogs charged at the Chitauri infantry with howls. Their bloodthirsty eyes and sharp teeth instilled fear. However, the Chitauri infantry were agile, wielding arm cannons and forearm guns, aiming at the zombie dogs and firing. Rain of energy bullets flew, knocking the zombie dogs to the ground one by one.

But just as the zombie dogs were being taken down, the Lickers began their harvesting mode.

Lickers lunged at the Chitauri infantry, opening their massive mouths, their tongues covered in slime, extending like giant tentacles. The Lickers moved rapidly among the Chitauri infantry, wrapping them with their tongues and dragging them into their giant mouths one by one.

The Chitauri infantry resisted with all their might, aiming their arm cannons and forearm guns at the Lickers. However, the Lickers' bodies were exceptionally tough, capable of withstanding most attacks. The Lickers' slime also served as protection, making them harder to defeat. Nevertheless, the Chitauri infantry, unafraid of the predicament, fought back fiercely, striving to break free from the Lickers' grasp.

Meanwhile, Tyrants appeared on the battlefield. These tall, strong zombies were covered in hard exoskeletons. They swung massive weapons with their enormous arms, possessing incredible power. The Tyrants charged at the Chitauri infantry, swinging their weapons with force, smashing them to the ground.

The Chitauri infantry faced the Tyrants' attacks, and the battle was exceptionally arduous. The Tyrants' strength far surpassed that of ordinary humans, and their weapons could not inflict effective damage. However, the Chitauri infantry still fought back with all their might, adopting a concentrated fire strategy, focusing their firepower on the Tyrants' weak points to weaken their combat effectiveness. Although the Tyrants' exoskeletons were incredibly tough, they had to succumb to the concentrated firepower of the Chitauri infantry.

In the midst of the fierce battle, the Chitauri Giant Apes and Leviathans also joined the fray. The Chitauri Giant Apes, with their immense strength and ferocious attack power, engaged in fierce combat with the Tyrants. The two intertwined on the battlefield, unleashing earth-shattering power clashes. The Leviathans also rampaged wantonly on the battlefield, their powerful bodies and sturdy armor making them a threat that could not be ignored.

On the battlefield, Zombie Dogs, Lickers, Tyrants, Chitauri infantry, Chitauri Giant Apes, and Leviathans were entangled with each other, forming a chaotic and perilous scene. Flames, explosions, and energy beams intertwined, and the battlefield was filled with smoke and the smell of blood.

Sharp arrows shot towards Captain, who dodged them with keen agility.

After infiltrating the back door of Vanko Tech Tower, Captain looked up at Hawkeye, who stood on the second-floor railing, looking down from above.

"Clinton, you shouldn't have come," Captain said, warily staring at Hawkeye, who was controlled by Loki.

Hawkeye sneered, "Captain, I've merely returned to where I truly belong. Do you still remember the vows we once made?"

Captain gripped his shield tightly, his gaze firm. "I remember, but this isn't your own will. Loki has just controlled your mind."

"Mind control? Captain, you're still the same self-righteous fellow," Hawkeye mocked. "Loki has given me new strength and purpose. I'm no longer the Clinton you knew."

Captain stepped onto the stairs, slowly approaching Hawkeye. "Clinton, you are my friend, and I won't give up on you. Loki is just using you; you still have a chance to break free from his control."

Hawkeye chuckled coldly. "Captain, you're too naive. I've seen through the hypocrisy of this world. Why save a humanity that is bound? Join Loki's side, and we will create a brand new order."

Captain stopped, gazing at the Loki-controlled Hawkeye. "Are you talking about an order that comes at the cost of innocent lives? We are Avengers; our responsibility is to protect humanity, not to strip them of their freedom."

Hawkeye replied coldly, "Your view of justice is just a fantasy. Humans can never be truly free. And I will become Loki's messenger, bringing a new order and power."

Captain gripped his shield tightly, his eyes resolute. "You can choose to betray me, but I will never betray you. We are teammates, we are friends."

Hawkeye's eyes flickered slightly, but he quickly regained his cold demeanor. "Friends? Captain, that's just something from the past. Now, only power and commands are real."

Captain took a firm step forward. "If you insist on this choice, then let's see whether friendship or power is more important."
