"Let's begin the operational plan," Tony Stark said, manipulating a remote control to operate the display screen.

"I have a question," Captain said.

"Go ahead," Tony Stark tapped Captain with his finger.

"Why do we have to let them open a space portal? Why do we have to fight this large-scale battle? Since we know their location, why can't we just fight a small, localized battle?" Everyone present understood Captain's meaning perfectly.

Undoubtedly, they simply didn't want the battlefield to expand, as the potential casualties could be even more immense.

The Chitauri infantry legion swarmed forward, clad in exoskeleton armor, exuding a chilling aura. They utilized the hive mind of their electronic neural networks to quickly organize a formidable attacking force. Iron Man, Black Widow, and Hulk nervously faced this surging enemy.

The Chitauri infantry were equipped with arm cannons and forearm guns. They aimed at their targets, unleashing powerful energy cannon fire. Iron Man quickly activated his battle armor's energy shield, blocking the Chitauri soldiers' attacks while launching a counterattack. His wrist lasers shot out sharp energy beams, hitting the Chitauri infantry and blasting them into pieces.

Black Widow, with her agility and combat skills, engaged the Chitauri infantry. She skillfully wielded her dual blades and combat techniques, weaving through the battlefield and quickly taking down enemies. She used her agile movement and sharp reflexes to evade the Chitauri's attacks while launching deadly counterattacks.

Hulk transformed into a massive green giant, his strength and rage making him an unstoppable force. He swung his fists, smashing the Chitauri infantry into disarray; their armor was no match for the Hulk's power.

However, the Chitauri legion was vast in number, continuously pouring in and putting immense pressure on Iron Man, Black Widow, and Hulk. Despite the Avengers' valiant efforts, they struggled to completely halt the Chitauri legion's offensive.

"There are too many of them, where's Nathan Hawke's hero team?" Black Widow shouted.

"They'll be here," Tony calmly pondered countermeasures, using his energy weapons for precise strikes against the enemy, attempting to weaken their assault. The scene became chaotic and intense, with explosions, energy beams, and tearing sounds erupting one after another.

Loki took a deep breath, his gaze firm. "Now, let us begin. Earth will witness our power and conquest."

The Chitauri Commander nodded, responding coldly, "The Chitauri will give them a chance to surrender, to show them the might of the Chitauri."

The Chitauri elite legion launched their assault, with Leviathans, Chitauri Giant Apes, and Chitauri flying chariots forming their formidable force. Their targets were Thor, Andrew, and Electro.
