Background / History

Qingyuan was a transmigrated Green Lotus who became Sect Master Tongtian's foremost disciple during the Primordial Era. Although he had followed Tongtian for millions of years, his apparently poor foundation and inability to deeply comprehend the sect's teachings left him marginalized; later disciples largely regarded Daoist Duobao as the practical senior disciple instead. Qingyuan's earlier attempts to alter the broader course of events repeatedly failed, drawing Heavenly Dao warnings and tribulations, after which he became withdrawn and established his quiet dojo at Serene Peak. 1 13 17

When Daoist Duobao challenged his position as Senior Disciple Brother, Qingyuan activated the Strongest Disciple System. Its feedback mechanism rewards him when he bestows his own resources on disciples, turning his role as a teacher into the foundation of his growth. 1 3
