Inside the Grand Arena.
Kevin stared at the humanoid creature before him.
If he was right, his opponent was some sort of Spiritual Lifeform, only with a physical vessel.
Since it was a Spiritual Lifeform, its primary means of attack would undoubtedly be spiritual in nature.
That was a Spiritual Lifeform's strength. It would never discard it, just as the member of its kind from earlier had attacked its enemies with a psychic shriek.
Against opponents at the same level, its spiritual attacks would certainly give it an advantage.
In essence, attacks like that were a fairly effective counter to Kevin.
That was simply how humans were.
Their flesh and spirit were relatively equal, and only after Kevin reached the Lord stage had he brought the two into balance.

He had used drugs many times.

What puzzled Kevin, though, was why his opponent bore him ill will. It was very strange, especially when both of them were recognized Lords.
Was it because of his appearance?
The human form looked rather strange on his opponent, but plenty of individuals throughout its race had human forms.
There had to be a reason.
Just as Kevin pondered this, his opponent's body abruptly turned red, then burst into a bloody haze that instantly spread across the entire battlefield.
The blood mist did not obstruct anyone's vision. Both those in the sky and Kevin standing within it
