The Man Who Made Iron Man Spend a Fortune
After dinner, the Kent Family and Danvers family relaxed and sat on the sofa watching TV, but Robet wasn't interested. He planned to go out for some exercise before continuing his meditation.
"Hmm?" But Robet, who had only taken two steps, suddenly stopped. He raised an eyebrow at the screen on the television, because someone Robet recognized appeared on the screen: Tony Stark!
However, the Tony Stark on TV was quite different from the disheveled figure Robet had seen that day. Now, he was dressed in a sharp suit, facing the camera with great confidence.
"Huh? It's him?" Clark looked at the television with some surprise and couldn't help but mutter to himself.
After Robet let Tony Stark go, Clark didn't pay any attention to Tony Stark, even though he was a world-renowned billionaire, but that had nothing to do with him, a small-town youth.
Clark figured they wouldn't have any further contact with Tony Stark unless Tony Stark was kidnapped again and Robet happened to be passing by once more.
"Some people are wondering if I'm the superhero that's been in the news lately. I know I'm not superhero material. I have many flaws and have made many mistakes, but in fact..." On television, Tony Stark held a card in his hand, but instead of reading from it, he looked seriously at the reporters and cameras below and said.
"I am Iron Man."
The reporters below erupted in commotion, but the Kent Family and Danvers families seemed somewhat bewildered, not quite understanding what this Iron Man thing meant.
"Hmm, Robet, it seems that after you dismantled his Mecha, he built a brand new Mecha, a flying Mecha ..." A short while later, Clark, having gathered information and understood what had happened, looked at Robet and said, "Moreover, he wore his Mecha and did the same thing as you, going to that area and taking care of many extremists, even making no attempt to conceal his presence. Many people saw him, which is why many call him the superhero Iron Man ..."
"A new Mecha?" Robet raised an eyebrow, showing a slight interest. After all, in Robet's opinion, a flying Mecha was a basic level, and should be much better than the bulky and rudimentary Mecha they had dismantled before.
"However, at today's press conference, I'm not only going to announce my identity as a superhero, but also to find my savior..." Just as Robet pondering whether Tony Stark's new Mecha was durable enough to withstand disassembly, Tony Stark on the television continued speaking amidst the uproar.
"As you all know, I was kidnapped before. I admit, my actions against those extremists weren't just because I wanted to save the suffering people, but also partly out of revenge. And when I was in trouble, someone saved me and pulled me out of that dangerous Extremis. He's my superhero..."
"Unfortunately, I can't find my superhero now. I can only release his image, and I'll offer a reward of ten million US dollars to anyone who can provide accurate information about him. Of course, if anyone dares to lie to me, I'll make sure they know what regret is!"
With a "whoosh!" as Tony Stark finished speaking, his bodyguard Happy unveiled a huge portrait, indicating that he had come prepared.
And the portrait depicted was none other than Robet... in his Kakarot vest!
"Ten million US dollars!"
"Iron Man, the superhero!"
"Who is this man that makes playboy Tony Stark spend a fortune on him?!"
The untold story of Tony Stark's kidnapping! It's actually related to him!
Soon, news headlines quickly dominated the front pages of various sections, which was exactly what Tony Stark had intended.
There was no way around it; after Tony Stark returned, he used Jarvis to infiltrate a bunch of organizations, but not only did he fail to obtain any information about Robet, he almost caused quite a bit of trouble.
Ultimately, this was the only way Tony Stark could find Robet. In his view, a mere ten million dollars would be a huge profit if it could lead to a clue about Robet!
Robet:(_?)>
"Is he talking about me? Is what he's saying the same thing I experienced?" Robet looked at the image of Kakarot on the TV, scratched his head, and said somewhat blankly, "So now, I can't go out looking like Kakarot anymore?"
"He's talking about you? You saved him?" Kara blinked, looking at Robet with some surprise.
Not only Kara, but everyone else in the room turned their attention to them. After all, Robet hadn't mentioned this part during dinner, and they were all curious about what Robet had done to make Tony Stark spend so much money to find Robet...
"Well... to be precise, I didn't save him, I just didn't kill him." Robet paused for a moment before speaking. "I initially thought he was with those extremists, since he didn't seem like a good person at the time, but Clark said he had been kidnapped, so I let him go..."
"Does he think sparing your life is a great favor?" Kara looked blankly at Tony Stark on the television screen, then shook her head. "No, he's definitely using this opportunity to find you and get revenge. That guy is despicable!"
"It's alright, he won't find me. Next time I go out, I'll just change my appearance..." Robet waved his hand dismissively and said with a smile, "Besides, if I really run into him again, I'd actually like to test whether his new Mecha is still durable enough to withstand disassembly."
"Then you'd better be careful. None of these capitalists are good people, not to mention he's one of the biggest capitalists in America!" Mr. Danvers whispered a warning from the side.
"Exactly! I thought he'd be a good guy after becoming some kind of superhero Iron Man, but it seems he's not a good guy at heart!" Mrs. Danvers nodded, speaking with shared indignation.
Clearly, no matter how wealthy, influential, or popular Tony Stark is outside, neither of the two families in this house will side with him; they both firmly support Robet...
"Didn't you say last time that the energy device on his chest would harm his body? He didn't remove that energy device because it still seems to be the power source of his Mecha..." Clark had remained silent after Happy took out the portrait, but now he looked away and spoke softly to Robet.
"He's dead meat then, we don't need to worry about him..." Robet raised an eyebrow, then stroked his chin thoughtfully, "I need to think about what kind of appearance would suit me best when I go out in the future..."
