Kara's Subtle Warning (Part 3)
"Thank goodness it burned, otherwise it would have been really weird for this strange stuff to spray onto Robet!" Kara, though physically in the classroom, was already thinking about Robet. She breathed a sigh of relief after watching Robet burn the Spider Web, and then decided to stay away from Peter Parker.
"Kara, why are you all alone today? Where's your boyfriend?" Lorna asked curiously as she walked over to Kara, who was sitting there alone.
"He has something to do, he'll be a little later..." Kara said casually, glancing at her challenger Lorna.
Kara didn't feel much dislike for Lorna, the challenger, but she also didn't feel much affection for her.
Lorna is indeed quite outstanding, both in terms of physical fitness and academics. If she were in another class, she would definitely be the class beauty and leader. But unfortunately, Kara is already in this class.
"So, what is it about Robet that attracted you? Why did you choose him as your boyfriend?" Lorna looked around and asked in a low voice.
"There's no reason why you like something," Kara said. She didn't intend to tell Lorna about Robet's unique qualities. After all, Kara had grown closer to Robet Robet, and she certainly wouldn't be foolish enough to tell other girls about Robet's unique qualities to pique their curiosity.
"Tch! What's the big deal..." Lorna pouted, somewhat unconvinced, seeing that Kara had no intention of explaining, and muttered under her breath, "Just you wait! I'll definitely beat you in the exam in a few days!"
"Okay, I'll wait." Kara nodded, not taking Lorna's challenge to heart. She had taken the time to study specifically for it, and she didn't think anyone could beat her in exams, especially after she had put in the effort.
"Holy crap! Holy crap!" On the other side, Peter Parker exclaimed twice in succession. The first time was because he had actually sprayed Spider Web, and the second time was because Robet released flames, which were much cooler than Spider Web!
"How did you do that?" Peter Parker put aside his own Spider Web -shooting skills and looked at Robet with astonishment, asking, "Is that your ability? That's so cool!"
"Instead of envying others' abilities, you should thoroughly study your own. Your current strength, speed, and reaction speed far exceed those of ordinary people. You should think about how to master these abilities and quickly conceal the fact that you are different from ordinary people." Robet shook his head at Peter Parker and said seriously.
"Otherwise, you won't be able to attend school normally, and you'll even have difficulty living a normal life. You probably don't want everyone to know that you gained superpowers after being bitten by Spider, right?"
"Of course, if you want to showcase your abilities later, that's fine. But I advise you to conceal your identity first; for example, wearing a hood or a uniform would be good."
"Since you gained your superpowers from being bitten by Spider, how about you call yourself Spider-Man from now on?"
"Spider-Man. That sounds pretty good!" Peter Parker's eyes lit up, and he quickly looked at Robet and asked, "And what about you? What's your codename? And what's Kara's codename?"
"We don't have code names, we don't need them," Robet said softly with a shrug. "After all, we have pretty good control over our abilities, and we don't need to wear masked uniforms to hide our identities..."
"I thought you all had code names, like you were some kind of organization," Peter Parker muttered under his breath, somewhat disappointed. Then he looked at Robet and said, "So how do you control your abilities? Can you teach me?"
"Cultivation, constant cultivation." Robet looked at Peter Parker earnestly and said, "There are no shortcuts to this. To master your power, you need to rely on your own continuous efforts. I can teach you, but I can't help you. Do you understand?"
"I understand! So what should I do now?" Peter Parker nodded quickly and asked Robet.
"You can put your control over your own strength and Spider Web aside for now, but your sense of danger needs to be trained properly, otherwise your tendency to jump around is really conspicuous..." Robet said after a moment's thought.
"We'll train you using the same stimulating method we used at the beginning. Your sense of crisis is very useful, but only if you can fully master it. So what you need to do now is familiarize yourself with this sense of crisis and control your body to react correctly, instead of jumping and running around randomly like before..."
"Then I'll have to trouble you, Robet," Peter Parker said gratefully, looking at Robet earnestly.
Soon, Robet began releasing his aura again, and under the stimulation of the aura, Peter Parker's Spider-Sense constantly warned him of the approaching danger.
Subconsciously, Peter Parker's body began to run wildly again, but with Robet's reminder, Peter Parker tried to control his abilities, slowly becoming familiar with them, slowly accepting them, and slowly mastering them...
In just one day, under Robet's constant stimulation, Peter Parker's progress was quite rapid. His Spider-Sense was still there, but he no longer ran around and jumped around randomly when stimulated, which was already a huge improvement.
"It's still early, and Kara is here too. You can train with us. Of course, your strength is much weaker, so you can reduce the weight and training time accordingly." Robet sensed Kara's approaching aura and said softly to Peter Parker was slumped on the Shang-Chi.
"Hiss!" Not long after Robet finished speaking, Peter Parker also sensed Kara's arrival, as that sense of crisis returned to him.
However, Peter Parker was already relatively familiar with his Spider-Sense, did not jump up again. He nodded, suppressing his discomfort.
"Hmph!" Kara quickly appeared next to Robet, letting out a slightly disgruntled snort. She then secretly glared at Peter Parker, as if warning Peter Parker not to disturb her time and space alone with Robet.
Seeing Kara's gaze, Peter Parker almost jumped up again. He barely managed to control himself, glancing at Kara with some fear before looking at Robet and tentatively asking in a low voice, "Um, Robet, should I go back first and not disturb you any longer?"
As Peter Parker finished speaking, the sense of crisis dissipated considerably, but it quickly returned.
Robet waved his hand dismissively, saying, "There's no such thing as disturbing you. You'll be cultivating anyway, so just follow along and learn."
