The Brothers' Encounter (Part 3)
"What kind of flame is this?!" The Demon's terrified voice rang out. Even when Robet suppressed him before, he had never been this terrified, because his power was inherent. Even if he couldn't unleash his full strength, he felt that Robet couldn't pose a threat to his life.
But the Demon hadn't expected Robet to suddenly unleash a flame. To be honest, there were far too many Demon in Hell with fire abilities, and he usually scoffed at fire. But the flame Robet released was extremely lethal to him. If this continued, he might really be doomed.
"What kind of flames?" Robet hadn't expected the flames he released to be so effective. He had only developed his fighting style in a soul state, then incorporated some abilities he had learned from Talisman into his qi, along with some evolutions of Ki Magic and life qi, and now it was having a miraculous effect.
However, opportunities for soul battles are extremely rare, and Robet didn't know whether his flames were only effective against Demon souls or against all soul states.
Of course, now is not the time to think about this. Robet intends to deal with the Demon that wants to take over his body first before thinking about anything else!
The idea of someone taking over a body is the most unacceptable thing for Robet, even more disturbing than the leakage of his cells and genes, creating an Androids with the same bloodline as himself!
My body no longer belongs to me; it's controlled by another consciousness. Who knows what this consciousness will do with my body?
"No! I absolutely cannot die here! Die at the hands of a lowly Earthling!" For Demon, Earth is the place they covet most, but they also look down on Earthling, because their dimension is far more advanced than Earth Dimension's, and their life form is far more sophisticated than that of Earthling!
With a "whoosh!", just as the Demon roared, he completely transformed into the shape of the previous wisp of gas, as if this was the true form of the Demon.
After transforming into this gas, the gas and flames were frantically consuming each other. However, compared to Robet in his prime, the Demon who came to Earth was clearly weakened. Even though his life force was inherently higher, he was still at a disadvantage in this war of attrition.
"No! No! I curse you! I curse you to die a horrible death, I curse you to be swallowed by hell!" When it realized it couldn't escape the flames unleashed by Robet, the Demon gradually went mad, uttering similar words to the previous Demon Robet had killed.
"Huh? A curse?" Robet's eyes lit up when he heard the Demon's words. Then, his Telekinesis surged, and to Kara's astonishment, Robet's shoes came off. Immediately afterward, a piece of his clothing flew up and hovered in mid-air.
"What's this?" A look of confusion flashed in Kara's eyes. She didn't quite understand why a piece of clothing had suddenly floated out. Of course, Kara was even more puzzled as to why there was a piece of clothing hidden in Robet's shoe.
Robet: Where should we hide them? Only shoes aren't so easily damaged; clothes and such are too easily torn.
As for this tuft of clothing, it was naturally the same tuft of clothing that had been imbued with the Demon Curse last time. Robet hadn't had many opportunities to use it. Of course, Robet had tried using this tuft of clothing to fish before, but unfortunately, no Demon came looking for Robet...
Now, this tuft of clothing can condense into a brand new curse. I wonder if collecting all seven Demon Curse will summon some kind of Demon King.
With a "whoosh," the Demon surrounded by flames completely transformed into a ball of Demon Blood-Qi, somewhat similar to the previous Demon Blood, yet slightly different. After transforming into this ball of Demon Blood-Qi, it seemed to ignore all harm and obstruction, directly rushing towards Robet's soul and locking onto Robet's aura.
However, the Demon Blood-Qi froze on the spot the next moment, because Robet's soul aura had completely disappeared, leaving him like a stone, not at all like a living being.
"Buzz!" Soon, Robet dispelled the Cursed Cloth Scrap of the garment. Almost without hesitation, Demon Blood-Qi rushed into the Cursed Cloth Scrap, adding a new curse to it.
As for Robet's soul, it flashed and returned to his body. Even though he already possessed the combat power of a soul, Robet still preferred the feeling of being in his own body.
"Crack! Crack!" Robet stretched his body a couple of times, then waved his hand, retracting and sealing the Cursed Cloth Scrap, and putting it into his shoe.
"Robet? What is this? Why did you put it in your shoe?" Kara asked, looking at Robet with a somewhat blank expression. Although Robet had once again displayed an ability she had never seen before, Kara still wanted to know what it meant to put the corner of her clothes in her shoe.
"This hem of clothing contains the curse of two Demon, so it's not safe to keep it anywhere else. I've kept it close to my body..." Robet shrugged and explained softly.
"Demon Curse? Won't something bad happen?" Kara asked Robet with some concern.
"Don't worry, they weren't a match for me when they were alive, so how could they possibly deal with me now that they're dead?" Robet's voice carried a hint of disdain. At least, Demon of this level posed no threat to him; only Demon Sorcerer who had regained his freedom after obtaining the Twelve Talismans would be able to do so.
However, after that great battle, Robet's strength increased slightly. Even if the Demon Sorcerer in that state were to come again, he would not be a match for Robet!
"What's the use of that Demon Curse?" Kara gradually relaxed, then looked at Robet with some curiosity and asked.
"Perhaps it could be used for fishing, but I've never succeeded..." Robet pondered for a moment, then muttered in confusion, "However, when I was specifically looking for Demon before, Demon didn't appear. Now that I'm not looking for Demon, why have Demon appeared?"
"Why don't you give it another try?" Kara suggested, looking at Robet with some anticipation. "I've never fought Demon Demon before. How about you let me fight one too? It can't always be you fighting while I just watch..."
"You..." Robet knew that one day Kara would try to steal the monster, but he didn't expect that day to come so soon. Robet looked at Kara and opened his mouth, but in the end he did not refuse Kara's suggestion. After all, Kara would eventually graduate, and it would not be good to keep denying Kara a real chance to fight.
"Alright, you really should experience some real combat. Let's try again!" Robet and finally agreed. At the same time, he removed the aura covering the Cursed Cloth Scrap of his clothes from his shoes, and two streams of Demon cursed power surged out instantly, transforming into a familiar aura to the beings of hell.
"It seems like no fish are taking the bait. Shall we look around?" Robet suggested to Kara after carefully sensing the area and finding no new Demon.
"Great!" Kara was naturally delighted with Robet's suggestion. Fighting monsters wasn't the key; the key was finding a reason to stay by Robet's side so that Robet wouldn't go off to find Demon alone and leave her out.
"Whoosh!"
"Whoosh!"
Robet and Kara vanished from their spot. Although they didn't elope with Clark and Lana, they were still... well, huh?
While Robet and Kara were using the Cursed Cloth Scrap to search for the Demon, Clark and Lana were strolling along the street. Clark hadn't been able to overcome his psychological barrier, and he and Lana hadn't taken things further, making their time at home somewhat awkward.
"Hmm?" Just as Clark and Lana stepped into a dimly lit area under a streetlamp, Clark frowned. He sensed that something was off about the surroundings, but he couldn't pinpoint exactly what it was.
Clark didn't notice at first that not far from him, a figure was struggling to crawl out of a crack. Its form was somewhat different from the Robet had just seen, but judging from its aura, it was also a Demon from hell.
When the Demon crawled out of the crack, his body was covered with wounds of all sizes, and his aura was very unstable. He didn't seem as composed as the Demon Robet had encountered.
But then the Demon burrowed into the ground, and the earth began to tremble slightly. Then, a Demon made of stone crawled out.
"Demon King is too cautious. If it weren't for the existence of Dimensional Array, Earth would have been occupied by various dimensions long ago. Why would we need to send the three of us at the same time?" The Stone Demon twisted its body with a ferocious expression, sensing its surroundings, and said with a mixture of disdain and Greed.
"I can handle this place by myself, right? The only regret is that the gap in Earth Dimension isn't big enough. It'll hurt a bit when we pass through, and it'll also suppress our strength. I wonder how much strength those two guys still have?"
A glint of eager anticipation shone in the Stone Demon's eyes. In Hell, these three Demon were all trusted subordinates of a Demon King, their strength evenly matched. But since they were rivals, why wouldn't they all want to replace each other, or even devour one to become even more powerful?
In the eyes of the Stone Demon, the only advantage of the three of them coming to Earth together was that the emperor was far away and the Demon King could not control them. They might be able to take this opportunity to devour their former opponents, further increase their strength, and even become Demon King themselves!
"You are... Demon?" Just as the Stone Demon was immersed in his own world, Clark's voice rang in his ears. Clark had also seen Demon before, when Robet had fought Demon before, although this Demon seemed a little different.
"Hmm?" The Stone Demon was startled by the noise. He hadn't noticed anyone approaching, but he reacted as quickly as possible.
"Bang!"
Two enormous rocks hurtled towards Clark's body from either side, then collided, attempting to crush Clark flat on the spot. Unfortunately for Clark, he dodged the two rocks with a quick movement.
When Clark is willing to dodge, it's difficult for any attack to actually land on him, especially since the coat he's wearing today was a gift from Lana, and he doesn't want to get it dirty in the fight.
"A flying human?" The Stone Demon noticed Clark hovering in mid-air. His eyes narrowed, but he was already controlling his abilities, conjuring a mountain of rocks that he aimed at Clark.
"Tell me, what is your purpose in coming to Earth?" Clark looked around, seemingly sensing something amiss, but saw nothing. Finally, he looked down at the Stone Demon and asked.
"Hehe, want to know why I came to Earth? Sure, you'll find out when you get to Hell!" The Stone Demon grinned menacingly, and a small mountain instantly appeared on Clark's head, pressing down on Clark.
With a "crack!", but to the Stone Demon's surprise, Clark caught the hill with one hand, and his body didn't even show the slightest sign of falling.
