Battles on Two Fronts (Part 3)
In outer space, the great battle between Clark and Raziel continued, with no sign of a victor emerging anytime soon. Raziel discovered that Clark's defense and strength were far superior to his own, making it seem that defeating Clark would not be so easy.
Therefore, Raziel wanted to absorb more Faith Power to reach new heights of strength, truly overwhelm Clark in both power and defense, and achieve victory in the final battle.
However, no matter how Raziel mobilized the Faith Power on Earth, the remaining Faith Power showed no intention of continuing to merge into Raziel's body. In the Holy See of the Vatican City, the Pope looked slightly strained, and the Holy Light around him surged continuously, yet he firmly locked the Faith Power within his own body, without leaking out even a fraction of it.
"Does he intend to continue using the Faith Power? This God of Humanity is far more powerful than I imagined, managing to push Raziel to this point..." However, despite feeling some pressure, the Pope wore a faint smile, thinking to himself, "It seems the Angel's plan is doomed to fail this time!"
The Pope's gaze turned towards the direction beyond Earth. With the enhancement of his Faith Power, his Holy Light power had become more complex, but his strength had indeed increased significantly compared to before. This allowed him to see what was happening beyond Earth, but his power was still insufficient to clearly observe the battle between Clark and Raziel, which inevitably left the Pope with some regret.
"Damn it! I can clearly sense the Faith Power surging within the Earth, so why can't I draw upon that Faith Power now?!" Raziel, who was fighting Clark, was gradually losing ground. Although she was still far from defeat, Raziel's heart was no longer at peace, and she was no longer as composed as she had been when she transformed into her Six-Winged Seraph form.
"Sizzle!" Just as Raziel distracted, Clark grabbed Raziel's Angel Wings that were slashing at him, and at the same time exerted a sudden force, trying to tear Raziel's Angel Wings off directly, turning him from Six-Winged Seraph a five-winged crippled Angel.
However, Raziel's wings were strong enough, and when Raziel realized Clark's intention, he quickly made his wings incredibly strong. Clark could only pluck a bunch of feathers from the wings, but he couldn't completely tear the wings off.
"What kind of monster is this Kryptonian? Kryptonian are powerful, but they shouldn't be this powerful!" Even so, Raziel was still trembling with shock. Clark's strength was increasingly beyond his imagination. It seemed that the more they fought, the more familiar Clark became with his attacks, and the easier it was for him to deal with them. This was completely unacceptable to Raziel.
Because Raziel knew that if things continued to develop this way, he would probably really lose to Clark. If he really lost, then the ownership of the Faith Power on Earth, and even the plan to explore more of Earth's current situation, would be out of the question!
"Gabriel, you've really ruined me!" A thought flashed through Raziel's mind. He was definitely not the only Angel who had left a backup plan on Earth. Perhaps Gabriel himself had also left a backup plan on Earth. But Gabriel did not come. Instead, he came to Raziel, which put Raziel in his current predicament.
The battle in space was temporarily undecided, and to prevent the fighting from affecting the vicinity of Earth, Clark led Raziel to relocate the battlefield, moving away from the major planets of the Solar System and all the way to the vicinity of the Kuiper Belt, where they locked the battlefield there.
Ceres Asteroid Belt the asteroid belt: (つ) Thank goodness it wasn't me this time.
Pluto: ▌°Д°;)っ Don't come any closer!
Meanwhile, on Earth, the battle between Robet and Valentine continued. Despite the long duration of the fight, Robet's combat power had not yet surpassed Valentine's, but Valentine strengths were beginning to converge. At least now, Robet no longer bled in battle.
Upon discovering this, Valentine was somewhat unable to accept it. He couldn't understand why, even after completely transforming into Hell Demon King, he was still no match for Robet. How could an unknown Earthling be so powerful?
Thinking of this, Valentine suddenly felt a desire to retreat. He wanted to leave. Valentine no longer wanted to avenge Robet or the Angel, because nothing was more important than living. The Guardian would probably agree with that.
Once he left this place and found a chance to go to the Hell Dimension, Valentine felt that with his current strength, he could make a name for himself. Earth was just too dangerous; there were either treacherous Angel or hotheads like Robet who were constantly getting stronger. Valentine thought the Hell Dimension would be much easier to navigate...
"Boom!" With that thought, Valentine quickly convinced himself and gave up his hatred. A powerful burst of Dark Energy erupted. Valentine wanted to use this explosion to force the ferocious Robet back and find an opportunity to escape.
During the previous battle, Valentine had already discovered that Robet was a monster. No matter what kind of injuries or impacts he suffered, Robet showed no sign of retreating. But this time, Valentine did not believe that Robet could remain unyielding!
However, to Valentine's surprise, Robet showed no intention of retreating in the face of such an explosion. Robet condensed his aura, creating an Ki Barrier around himself. Although it was quickly blasted away by Valentine's power, resulting in injuries of varying degrees, Robet still did not retreat an inch and realized that Valentine intended to escape.
"Want to leave? Not so easy!" Robet, who had gone mad from the battle, naturally wouldn't let Valentine escape like that. He snorted coldly, and streams of energy condensed from his hands, turning into rings that instantly locked Valentine's body in place.
Valentine did indeed renounce his human identity and become Hell Demon King, but he still retained a human-like appearance, perhaps as a final lingering attachment to his human identity.
Diana was watching from a distance, raised an eyebrow when she saw Robet use this move. It wasn't the first time Robet had used this move, but Diana had never seen Robet use it in all the battles Robet had fought before. And most importantly, Diana felt that Robet's move was somewhat similar to her Lasso of Truth.
At least in terms of their ability to bind people, they are similar, but the Lasso of Truth does not have the ability to force people to tell the truth.
"The Lasso of Truth..." Diana narrowed her beautiful eyes as she watched Robet in the midst of the battle, a thought flashing through her mind, "That's a good solution!"
"Hiss?" Robet, who had just restrained Valentine and was about to press his advantage, suddenly felt a chill down his spine. He looked around warily, but found nothing.
"Crack!" At that moment, Valentine's power, which had been bound by the rings, burst forth, shattering the rings on the spot. After all, judging from his current strength, Robet was not as strong as Valentine. The rings could bind Valentine for a while, but they could not bind Valentine!
However, Robet didn't expect to be able to trap Valentine forever; preventing his escape was already Robet's goal!
With a "whoosh!", just as Valentine broke free of the ring, Robet's Dodon Ray blasted towards Valentine. Valentine, who was preparing to escape, narrowed his eyes slightly and hurriedly released his power to block it.
Compared to methods like the Ring, both the Dodon Ray and the Kamehameha Wave are enough to pose a threat to Valentine. After all, Valentine isn't as powerful as Raziel, who could ignore the Kamehameha Wave that shatters stars...
"Boom!" The Dodon Ray and the Dark Energy collided once again, causing an explosion. This Subspace Magic Academy subspace, which originally belonged to the Shadow Hunter lineage, was already struggling to withstand the impact of this battle.
This was even before Clark and Raziel's battle took place here. Clark's first punch sent Raziel flying out of the Magic Academy's Subspace, and then he continued to punch her into outer space.
Even so, the battle between Valentine and Robet still caused enormous damage to the Subspace of the Magic Academy, even though the Guardian and other Shadow Hunter had already activated formations to protect their Magic Academy before losing their source of power.
As the battle between Robet and Valentine continued, Constantine was forced to use some of his trump cards to help protect Clary and the others. Otherwise, having lost their abilities and much of their life force, they might not have been able to withstand the commotion of the battle.
"You bastard! Let me go!" The moment the explosion was complete, Valentine instinctively tried to escape again, but at that moment, Robet, who completely ignored the impact of the explosion, rushed in front of him and restrained him on the spot, the action being exactly the same as Captain America's chokehold on Ultron.
Of course, Valentine is not a machine life form like Ultron, and Robet was not trying to choke Valentine. Robet was planning to trap Valentine and then launch a big attack!
"Whoosh!"
"Whoosh!"
"Whoosh!"
The moment Robet bound Valentine with his own body, countless Destructo Disc, like a rain of needles, locked onto every inch of Valentine's body. The torture of slow slicing returned to the world, and Valentine, now Hell Demon King, endured one of the most terrifying punishments in human history.
Robet knew that Valentine, now Demon, possessed extremely strong regenerative abilities, at least no weaker than the previous Hell Demon King...
But Robet's actions were merely aimed at weakening Valentine's power, thereby narrowing the gap in combat strength between the two once again and achieving a true overtaking maneuver!
Robet's plan was successful. Although Valentine's body quickly recovered after enduring the excruciating torture of being slowly sliced to death, his aura had weakened considerably. Even if Valentine had transformed into Hell Demon King through Demon Blood, and even if he were truly a pure-blooded Hell Demon King, injuries sustained in battle would still have taken a heavy toll. Otherwise, the previous Hell Demon King wouldn't have been defeated by Robet...
With a loud "bang," just as Valentine's body recovered, Robet's next offensive began again. This time, it was impossible to tell which side would gain an absolute advantage in the battle between Robet and Valentine.
With the boost from such a long battle, Robet's combat power has been steadily increasing, while Valentine's combat power has been weakened. The two are now on the same starting line, but being on the same starting line also means that Valentine is no longer Robet's match!
"There shouldn't be any problems..." Seeing Robet gradually reach a stalemate with Valentine, Diana and Kara breathed a sigh of relief. A thought flashed through their minds. Knowing Robet very well, they knew that after the battle reached this point, Robet should be able to secure the victory. Now, they just needed to see how long the battle would take.
However, when Diana and Kara both breathed a sigh of relief, they also sensed each other's reaction, which made them both Central City dissatisfied. They had originally thought that they were the ones who understood Robet best, but now there was another one, which was unacceptable to them!
Especially since they mistakenly believed from Robet's previous words that there might be more than one person, this made them even more angry!
Having seen the hope of Robet's victory, Kara and Diana's attention shifted from Robet's safety once again. Just then, shadowy figures slowly seeped in from outside the turbulent Subspace, coalescing into various forms.
These Shadowkhan, but they were much more powerful than the Shadowkhan Robet had seen before, as if they had received some kind of enhancement.
It turns out that when Tarak discovered the Angel on Earth, she was also plundering Demon to enhance her own power. It wasn't just Angel Demon of the Hell Dimension who were hostile to Angel; as a powerful being from the Dark Dimension, she also hated Angel. And most importantly, an Angel appeared to be at full strength descending upon Earth was a threat to her!
Therefore, Tarak decisively dispatched her Shadowkhan to investigate the situation. Tarak's Shadowkhan was different from the Shadowkhan of other generals; in other words, Tarak was the commander-in-chief of the Shadowkhan.
The Shadowkhan summoned by Tarak can adjust the strength of Shadowkhan soldiers according to her own Dark Power.
Since the mission is to investigate an Angel, the Shadowkhan's strength cannot be too weak. Otherwise, being purified by Holy Light before even seeing the Angel would be a complete waste of the opportunity...
So, Tarak used some energy she had recently plundered from Demon, energy that had just been transformed into Dark Power, to create a group of even more powerful Shadowkhan, and sent them to investigate the place where the Angel had appeared...
