Freebie Female Knight
"Let's go to Martha's first. Isn't Lana the only one there now?" Robet shook his head when he saw Kara's reaction. He took Kara and prepared to go back first. Robet was still a little worried about having only Lana with Martha and the others.
"Hmph! If I hadn't come, wouldn't you have been completely taken advantage of by her?" Kara, who had finally gotten her wish and was now flying wing-to-wing with Robet, heard Robet's words, pinched Robet's arm again, and said irritably.
Kara felt that if she hadn't come, judging from Diana's reaction to Robet, Diana might not have been able to hold back! Especially since Diana seemed to have been waiting for a long time!
Kara felt somewhat relieved about this; thankfully, she had been able to participate in Robet's battle this time, something she rarely did. If things had turned out the same as before, she would have truly regretted it...
When faced with Kara's question, Robet didn't respond, silently carrying Kara through the air.
Soon, Kara and Robet returned to the campsite where Martha and the others were camping. When they saw Kara carrying Robet back, everyone was stunned for a moment, then smiled, especially when they saw how well Robet had grown up and looked alongside Kara.
"Congratulations, Kara, you've finally gotten what you wanted..." Lana said jokingly to Kara.
"Hmph! What do you mean by 'getting what he wants'? We'll have to see how he performs!" Kara raised her head somewhat arrogantly, let go of Robet, and ran to the Danvers' side, saying this.
"Oh? Then Robet will need to work harder from now on?" Martha looked at Robet with some surprise. She hadn't expected that Robet's emotional intelligence seemed to be increasing as she grew up. So she looked at Robet and said with a smile.
"I will try my best!" Recalling his previous experiences, Robet's heart fluttered slightly. He glanced at Kara and said earnestly. Although the scales in his heart could not completely tip in Kara's favor, Robet would still try his best to treat Kara well.
"Oh? So things have really finally turned around?" A hint of surprise flashed in Alex's eyes. She shook her head as she looked at Kara, who was lost in sweet bliss after hearing Robet's words. She hadn't expected Robet to change so much, but seeing Robet's transformation, Alex was genuinely happy for her sister Kara.
No one mentioned the battle Robet had fought, because that wasn't their concern. They were simply happy to see Robet and Kara return unharmed. What Robet had gone through, and who he had fought, was of little interest to them...
"Huh? Wait, you're back. Where's Clark?" But soon, everyone realized something was wrong, especially Lana, who looked at Robet and Kara hesitantly and asked.
Clark brought Kara with him to help Robet, so how come only Robet and Kara returned? Where is Clark?
"Clark and Tian..." Kara looked at Lana and said subconsciously, but Robet interrupted her before she could finish the word "and."
"Clark separated from us. He went to chase that powerful enemy. That guy was clearly injured but ran so fast that we couldn't catch up, so Clark eventually lost him..." Robet shrugged and looked at Lana helplessly, "We wanted to chase after him but couldn't, so we had no choice but to come back first."
"So that's how it is..." Hearing Robet's words, Lana breathed a sigh of relief. If Kara had said these words, Lana might not have believed them, but coming from Robet, they were much more credible. After all, Robet was far more reliable Kara before, and he didn't have as many ulterior motives as Kara.
"Then let's wait here. Clark will definitely come back for us after he's done..." Jonathan and Martha exchanged a glance. They had already pitched their tent here. Even though they knew Clark had superhuman vision and hearing, they didn't want to move to another spot, lest it seem like they had abandoned Clark and moved away.
Soon, Robet returned from hunting and ate a hearty meal. He had been injured by Raziel, fought a bloody battle with the Demon King Valentine, and then expended a lot of energy at Kara's place. His injuries and energy were far from recovered.
After a hearty meal, Robet decided to rest well and recover from his injuries and regain his fighting strength as soon as possible. Robet knew that after this recovery, his fighting strength should be able to improve, and when he encountered a top-level Demon King again, he should no longer be suppressed when he activated the Great Ape Power: Wrath.
With a "whoosh!" sound, just as Robet entered the tent to meditate, a figure rushed in. The speed wasn't very fast, and even Martha and the others saw it, but they smiled at each other and didn't try to stop it.
"Awoo!" Robet had just opened his eyes inside the tent when he heard Kara let out a playful squeal and pounce on him. Amid Robet's somewhat bewildered gaze, Kara hugged Robet tightly, her breath warm against Robet neck as she breathed happily, "I was so happy when you said you'd work hard!"
"I'm sorry, I neglected you before..." Robet felt a surge of emotion as he felt the warmth on his neck, but after hearing Kara's words, he paused for a moment. He recalled how he had interacted with Kara before, and patted Kara's hair apologetically as he spoke.
"Kiss, kiss," Kara said expectantly, her head leaving Robet's neck and looking directly into Robet's eyes.
"Ahem, isn't that inappropriate? This is a tent!" Robet's eyes widened. He sensed that Martha and the others were all near the tent, so he lowered his voice somewhat awkwardly to remind them.
"What's wrong with just a kiss?" Kara pouted, glaring at Robet with dissatisfaction. Then, her eyes darted around, and she looked at Robet with a teasing expression, asking, "Do you want another big fight? No way! Your injuries haven't healed yet, you need to restrain yourself. Besides, they're all too close; we can't make too much noise..."
"Mua!" Upon hearing Kara's words, Robet's expression changed slightly, and he quickly covered Kara's mouth to interrupt her.
"Pa~Pa~Mmm~" However, Kara was not satisfied with just one puff. She quickly retaliated, and only after a while did she leave the tent satisfied, wiping the corner of her mouth as she walked out.
"Tsk tsk, in broad daylight, they have no self-control at all, these young people nowadays!" Alex looked at Kara as she came out, her voice filled with disdain and a hint of sourness. Although she was indeed happy that Kara's persistence had paid off, it didn't mean that Alex enjoyed being fed dog food!
Especially since during their previous trip, Lana and Clark were a couple, Alex was with Kara, Robet was all alone. Now that Robet and Kara are officially dating, doesn't that mean she's the only single one left?
This was something Alex hadn't expected; she was the only single person?
"Envious? Too bad, some people can only be envious. After all, you'll never experience such sweet love!" Kara said Alex, a hint of arrogance in her eyes.
"How did you do that? How did he suddenly become so enlightened? Is it really because he's grown up?" Alex glared at Kara, but was powerless to retaliate. Lana, standing to the side, looked at Kara with some curiosity and asked.
"What else?" Kara replied to Lana matter-of-factly, her expression revealing no flaw. "You all saw when Robet suddenly grew taller. He's just a little late in maturing. I just gave him a little reminder, and he immediately understood how good I am."
Are you kidding me? Kara could never admit that she conquered Robet by giving the female knight away for free. She could do it, but she absolutely couldn't tell anyone, or where would Kara's pride be?
"I see. But both brothers were late to the game, even Robet was considered fast..." Lana nodded with some emotion. Compared to Kara, she persisted for much longer, and although her final solution wasn't the same as Kara's, Lana was still a free female knight when the two of them finally broke through.
Inside the tent, Robet overheard Kara and Lana's conversation. He had no intention of exposing Kara's secret, and Robet decided that this memory would never be known to a third person!
"Hoo!" Robet exhaled a long breath, allowing his breathing to gradually stabilize, and began to meditate.
Meanwhile, Kara, outside, brazenly used her X-Ray Vision to spy on Robet, who was meditating inside the tent, seemingly never tiring of watching him.
As for Robet's previous refusal to let Kara use her X-Ray Vision to spy on him, Kara will no longer abide by that rule. Her status is different now; Kara is openly using her X-ray vision on Robet. You want Robet to stand up and object? Try that!
Meanwhile, in space, Clark, who had almost been forgotten by Robet and Kara, was still fighting Raziel and showed no signs of stopping anytime soon. As he became more familiar with Raziel's strength and discovered that Raziel's attacks were difficult to harm him, Clark gained an absolute advantage in the battle.
However, an enemy of the Skyfather level is not so easy to defeat. Clark's power is greater than Raziel's, but not so great as to overwhelm Raziel...
Of course, Clark showed no sign of being in a hurry during the battle. The one who should be anxious was Raziel, who was at a disadvantage. Especially since Raziel had come to Earth with a special purpose. If she really lost to Clark, it would mean that Heaven's plan had completely failed, which was something Raziel could not accept!
However, no matter how much he couldn't accept it, Raziel couldn't find a way out of the predicament. The only backup plans Heaven had left on Earth that he could activate were the Angel's Blood he had left behind and the Faith Power for the Angel to use temporarily. Apart from that, Raziel didn't know what other backup plans the other Angel had left behind, nor could he use them...
In fact, having obtained the Angel's Blood and descended to Earth in its full glory, coupled with the Faith Power as a guarantee, it was already quite formidable to start with the combat power of Skyfather. With such combat power, it should not have encountered any trouble on Earth.
Even at the height of Tamagami worship, when they received countless Faith Power, the Skyfather level was already considered an absolute powerhouse. But now, Earth has very little Faith Power left, and the strongest beings in each pantheon are only at the Skyfather level.
Therefore, from Heaven's perspective, this strength is sufficient to deal with the current state of Earth.
But who could have known that a Kryptonian as Clark could appear on Earth? Raziel, who fought Clark, swore that Clark was definitely not an ordinary Kryptonian; there was something fishy about him!
What Kryptonian could escape the negative effects of the Sun and even easily reach the level of Skyfather? Does the Skyfather level really have no value?
With a loud "bang," Raziel, who was at a disadvantage in the battle, became somewhat distracted. He no longer wanted to fight Clark, because if they continued, he would not be able to win at all. Seeing Raziel's distraction, Clark showed no mercy and punched Raziel, sending him flying. Feathers and Angel's Blood drifted in the cosmos.
"Wait!" Seeing Clark charging towards him again, Raziel quickly used his divine voice to shout at Clark, "We don't have any deep-seated hatred between us, there's no need to keep fighting like this, is there?"
"..." Clark stopped when he heard Raziel's words. He did not continue his attack because he also wanted to find out what Heaven was planning. He could always find out before continuing his attack!
Clark admits that he has some personal grudges against Raziel, not only because his innate preference for Angel and God was destroyed by reality, making Clark hate Angel and God even more, but also because Raziel injured Robet as soon as she appeared and acted condescendingly and looked down on Robet.
What a joke! What makes you think you, a pathetic Angel, dare to look down on Robet? Don't you know he's my brother, Clark's brother? Do you know how much effort I put into raising him? Even if Robet has become a hateful, stupid brother, he's still the one I'm bullying!
You, a lowly Angel, dare to bully Robet? You even want to recruit Robet as Heaven's henchman? With your abilities? You're so high and mighty, yet you're not even that good at fighting!
Of course, these were the thoughts that flashed through Clark's mind as he accelerated towards Raziel and blasted Raziel away with a single punch. After blasting Raziel all the way to Earth, Clark's anger subsided somewhat...
"If we don't want to continue fighting, then tell me, what are you doing on Earth?" Clark asked in a divine voice, his eyes flickering slightly as he looked at Raziel after hearing that she intended to Raziel a truce.
