The Hammer Intercepted Mid-Flight
Morbius wasn't so easily convinced by Tony Stark's words, because Morbius himself had once been a genius; otherwise, he wouldn't have been able to transform himself into Vampire through scientific means, even if this wasn't what Morbius wanted. However, Morbius had indeed successfully cured his rare blood disease.
Because Morbius was also a genius, Morbius knew exactly how difficult it was to go from nothing to something, or from a basic level of knowledge to graduation or even beyond his own level of knowledge!
After all, even though Tony Stark is now Iron Man, in Morbius's mind, he's no different from the playboy he used to be. If it weren't for the fact that he was indeed a defeated prisoner with no right to refuse, and if Morbius hadn't known Robet's strength and tracking abilities and understood that trying to escape would be tantamount to death, Morbius would already be thinking of leaving.
"Fine, let him be. Although I've lost my freedom, I've at least survived. I'll take his advice and do my own research on my condition. At least my financial situation is much better than before..." Morbius didn't say anything more in the end. Just as he thought, the current situation was much better than when he first became Vampire and was controlled by General Bart.
Meanwhile, Tony Stark begins to study biology, and of course, he needs to understand Morbius's unique situation, both the process of the modification experiment and Morbius's failed research experience regarding his own condition...
Robet, of course, wasn't interested in these kinds of topics. Robet Robet be quite willing to study different supernatural powers, but asking Robet to study scientific knowledge was really asking too much of him. So, after finishing his meal, Robet left.
Meanwhile, Clark, following Robet's advice, stayed by Lana's side. Only here, on the Savage Island, could Clark avoid being affected by Lois's occasional calls. On the Savage Island, the warp shielded him from Subspace 'Lois calls, while staying by Lana's side was because responsibility and guilt prevented Clark from thinking about Lois's calls...
"Hmm? What's that?" Just as Clark was with Lana, he suddenly frowned because he heard a strange noise coming from high in the sky. When Clark looked up, he saw some ripples in the space, and then a hammer-like object suddenly appeared in mid-air, like a meteorite, and crashed towards the Earth.
"Weapons? Attack?" The thought flashed through Clark's mind. Almost without hesitation, he vanished from his spot in an instant. Lana, standing beside him, didn't react much, as Lana was used to such things.
Lana initially thought that after unintentionally gaining superpowers, she should be able to narrow the gap between herself and Clark. However, as time went on, Lana discovered that although her strength had improved, the gap between her and Clark not only didn't narrow, but actually widened...
However, Lana's strength is not bad. When she first awakened, her strength was similar to Robet's normal strength, but weaker than Kara. Now, after so much time, although she is no longer as strong as Robet's normal strength, she is still considered to be at the Demon King level. Dealing with the Mask's host is no problem for her!
"What a strange hammer..." On the other side, Clark's figure flashed and appeared next to the hammer that was crashing down to the ground. Clark certainly couldn't just watch the hammer smash into the earth's surface like that, because Clark could see the surging energy contained in the hammer, an energy that was even more powerful than Robet's Kamehameha Wave!
With a "snap!", Clark grabbed the hammer. A surge of inertia pulled Clark's body, almost causing Clark to stumble and lose his balance. At that moment, Clark felt as if the hammer possessed immense power, as if he wasn't holding a hammer, but rather pulling the entire Earth!
"Hmm?" But just as Clark was beginning to feel the terrifying weight of the hammer, in the next instant, the hammer suddenly became much lighter. While not as light as a feather, it weighed only 42.3 pounds, which was no different from a feather in Clark's hands.
However, this was not the reason why Clark was surprised and made a sound. The reason Clark was surprised was because he felt that there was a consciousness in the hammer in his hand that was connected to him. The hammer seemed to be under his control as if it were his own arm, and he could control it at will!
Furthermore, a powerful force was surging into Clark's body from within the hammer. This was the power of a Thunderstorm, capable of controlling the surrounding climate. Compared to Clark's strength, this force was certainly not strong, but the power within the hammer alone was enough to fight against the Hell Demon King!
Moreover, according to Clark's current calculations, if all the power within the hammer were developed, it might be able to barely reach the level of Sub-Skyfather, which means it is a divine artifact at the level of a Major God!
"What does this mean? I inexplicably got a weapon? It looks pretty sturdy, and if it can maintain its previous weight, it seems like a decent asset?" Clark looked at the hammer in his hand with some confusion and couldn't help but mutter to himself.
Clark initially thought the hammer was meant to attack Earth, but now it seems more like an opportunity for him?
Meanwhile, in the Asgardian Realm of Asgard, Asgard, the All-Father Odin who had just thrown his son and hammer onto Earth, had a strange expression on his face and stared blankly in the direction of Earth, falling into silence.
Heimdall, the guardian god of Asgard and responsible for guarding the Bifrost, also looked somewhat strange, unsure of what to say. Loki, looked at All-Father Odin and Heimdall with a bewildered expression, wondering what had happened to cause these two great figures to lose their composure.
The whole story begins with All-Father Odin, who was a powerful and radical deity. Asgard was among the top gods in Earth's pantheon. After leaving Earth, Asgard did not fall into obscurity but continued to conquer the Nine Realms, which were originally connected with the Aesir, in an effort to further increase Asgard's influence.
In the end, All-Father Odin, barely succeeded. Asgard held the most powerful voice among the Nine Realms. However, for some unknown reason, All-Father Odin transformed from a conqueror who expanded his territory into a benevolent Guardian, ending Asgard's path of conquest and even reducing a large portion of Asgard's army.
As a result, the Nine Realms, which were not completely conquered to begin with, could no longer sincerely submit, and they secretly stirred up trouble in the shadows.
Thor, the next Inheritors Asgard, was naturally very unhappy about this, especially after his brother Loki instigated Thor to lead his companions to Jotunheim, where the Frost Giant Frost Giant. A battle ensued between them, nearly causing a direct conflict between the two realms.
All-Father Odin, had transformed into a benevolent ruler. He did not wish for his son Thor to continue as he had in his youth—warlike, vain, Greed, cruel, arrogant, ignorant, and unworthy of the trust of other civilizations...
To train Thor, All-Father Odin, decided to strip Thor of Thor Mjolnir and divine power. After communicating with the Ancient One, he banished Thor and the Mjolnir to Earth for trials. Only when Thor could be completely transformed and worthy of the throne of Asgard would All-Father Odin allow Thor to lift the Mjolnir again.
Furthermore, to better influence Thor, All-Father Odin, planted a spell on Mjolnir: "Whoever wields this hammer and is worthy of it will possess the Power of Thor!"
In other words, those who have gained the approval of Mjolnir can wield Mjolnir and receive its power, thus possessing the Power of Thor Mjolnir.
However, All-Father Odin, did not expect that Thor had not yet regained the approval of Mjolnir, while someone on Earth had already grasped the Mjolnir and gained the Power of Thor.
All-Father Odin, was not an omnipotent Skyfather, so how could he have foreseen this situation? In fact, when Clark grasped Mjolnir and gained the Power of Thor, All-Father Odin was somewhat surprised to find that Clark's body seemed to contain a terrifying power, far more terrifying than Mjolnir!
"Kryptonian? When did Kryptonian appear on Earth? And they're so powerful? That shouldn't be the case..." All-Father Odin, looked at Clark with some confusion, a series of thoughts flashing through his mind.
Even if an ordinary person gained the approval of Mjolnir, Odin, the king of the gods, would not actually allow him to wield it. This is a divine artifact belonging to the successor to the Asgardian king; it's not something that can be so easily bestowed upon someone else.
Even if All-Father Odin, is a benevolent monarch, it doesn't mean he's truly that generous. The purpose of the spell on Mjolnir is merely to train Thor; accidents and such can be erased, and naturally, All-Father Odin, would want to erase them...
After all, it's their own throne; even if they want to give their child experience, they can't really hand over the throne, can they?
"Hahahaha!" Unbeknownst to All-Father Odin, the Ancient One had just witnessed Clark wielding Thor's Mjolnir and seemed to anticipate All-Father Odin's reaction. She chuckled mischievously, "Odin probably never imagined his training plan would botch like this, did he? What is this? It ended before it even began?"
"I wonder what Odin will do. Judging from the divine power he has accumulated over the years, defeating Clark should be no problem. But the question is, can the current All-Father Odin, still put up with it? And if the two of them start fighting, that would be troublesome..."
"Kryptonian..." Just as the Ancient One were watching the show, All-Father Odin, finally couldn't hold back and contacted Clark.
"Hmm? Who is it?" Clark frowned, looking at Mjolnir in his hand, his expression gradually becoming serious.
"My name is Odin, a god from Asgard. According to the Tamagami, I am the King of Gods Aesir in Norse mythology..." The voice of All-Father Odin, continued, causing a series of messages to flash through Clark's mind.
"So that means this is the legendary Mjolnir? Thor's weapon?" Clark instantly found various records about Norse mythology.
Norse mythology also contains accounts of Mjolnir, but in Clark's view, the Norse accounts seem less powerful than the Mjolnir he wields...
"Indeed, this is Thor's weapon..." All-Father Odin, sighed. Just as he had told the Ancient One about his plan, All-Father Odin was no longer going to hide anything from a powerful figure like Clark, especially with Mjolnir in Clark's hands. So he revealed his plan to train Thor.
If it were possible to directly seize Mjolnir, All-Father Odin, would certainly have done so. However, after witnessing Clark's strength, All-Father Odin was not prepared to take forceful action, because he was old and not as aggressive as he was in his youth. In All-Father Odin's view, these things were all negotiable.
"Training? Your methods of training are truly unique..." Clark paused for a moment, looking at Mjolnir in his hand, somewhat speechless. After all, if you're going to train someone, why add strange incantations to Mjolnir? The universe is so vast, and Thor isn't the only one who can be recognized by Mjolnir.
"Those who can gain the approval of Mjolnir are extremely rare, and I also hope that Thor can become such a person..." All-Father Odin, seemed to have guessed Clark's thoughts and explained softly.
"If Thor really can't gain the approval of Mjolnir, or can't be transformed into what you want, will you really never let him obtain the power of Mjolnir? After all, the so-called conditions are just a matter of a word to you..." Clark shook his head and asked softly.
"As long as Thor can get rid of his warlike, vain, Greed, cruel, arrogant, and ignorant faults, it's okay even if he doesn't become a righteous and kind person..." All-Father Odin's voice was tinged with embarrassment, after all, it was quite embarrassing to have such a thing exposed by a powerful being of the same level.
"So many flaws? And it sounds like Robet has a few of them too? Especially his belligerence..." Clark looked at Thor's Mjolnir in his hand, a thought flashing through his mind, "And Robet's methods when dealing with enemies are indeed somewhat cruel. However, everyone has their own personality, and there's no need to force a change. After all, Robet doesn't need to inherit any All-Father position..."
