Transfer and Wager
"Diana?!" Robet and Kara exclaimed simultaneously upon seeing the valiant female warrior. Neither of them had expected Diana to appear here. Robet, in particular, was surprised, but also felt somewhat embarrassed and ashamed. He didn't even want to argue with Diana about how Diana had taken Frigga, a formidable enemy.
For Robet, once someone becomes an enemy, there is no distinction between men and women. As long as one is strong enough, a woman can be a suitable opponent.
But now, Diana has appeared and challenged Frigga to a duel. Because of what happened before, Robet is too embarrassed to compete with Diana for this opponent, especially since Diana seems to be there to stand up for her...
Robet didn't know that Diana didn't initially come because of him. At first, Diana sensed the presence of the Bifrost in the Asgard pantheon but didn't pay much attention. However, as the Bifrost appeared for longer and longer, it finally caught Diana's attention.
Diana was very curious at the time as to why the Asgard Bifrost remained on Earth for so long, which was quite different from the unspoken rule reached after many pantheons withdrew from Earth.
Therefore, Diana came over specifically to take a look, and before she even arrived, she saw Robet and Kara, and of course, Clark as well.
Diana had overheard most of Clark's conversation with All-Father Odin. Diana hadn't expected that Clark was related to Robet, nor had she expected that Clark's strength was so much greater than she had imagined. He was even able to contend with the All-Father of a pantheon, and even the renowned Odin among the All-Father!
Diana originally thought that with Clark's war against All-Father Odin, things should come to an end, at least until Clark and All-Father Odin had a victor, Robet should no longer have to fight Asgard.
However, Diana did not expect that Asgard would be so unreasonable and aggressive. Yes, even though Robet had not yet given Diana an explanation, Diana still considered things from Robet's perspective.
Diana was unaware of Robet's current strength, but as a goddess of a Queen of Asgard, her power was not to be underestimated. Diana naturally couldn't just stand by and watch Frigga attack Robet...
"Greek Gods?" Frigga stared at Diana, her divine power surging, and asked in a deep voice, "Are you Mount Olympus going to interfere too? This is a private matter between Asgard and them!"
"Don't worry, this is a private matter and has nothing to do with Mount Olympus..." Diana turned to look at Robet, her Divine Shield also in her hand, and as she unleashed her full divine power, she faced Frigga and said, "Come on, let me see just how powerful the Queen of Asgard of Asgard really is!"
With a "whoosh!", Diana's words had barely faded when the surrounding air instantly changed. Gusts of wind began to sweep towards Diana's body. Even with Diana's strength, she was still blown away by the storm. Her S.H.I.E.L.D. shield was unlikely to be effective against this type of attack.
With a "whoosh!", Diana, in mid-air, swung out the Lasso of Truth from her waist. Facing the storm, the Lasso of Truth was not hindered in the slightest, but flew straight towards Frigga. However, just when Diana thought that her Lasso of Truth of Lasso of Truth had bound Frigga, it passed right through Frigga's body, and Frigga's body slowly disappeared.
Loki learned all his magic from Frigga. Since Loki can use illusions, there's no reason why Frigga can't. Moreover, Frigga's skill in illusion magic is even greater than Loki's. At least just now, not only did Diana not notice anything unusual about Frigga's illusion, but Robet and Kara also failed to see through it.
"Zeus's Divine Power? So she's Zeus's daughter, but only a demigod!" Frigga suddenly appeared beside Diana, a sharp blade in her hand, and slashed at Diana's body.
With a clang, Diana reacted swiftly, her God Killer Sword meeting Frigga's longsword in an instant. A piercing sound followed, but Diana's God Killer Sword gained no advantage against Frigga's blade. Diana was sent flying backward once more, her arm even feeling numb. Frigga's strength was far greater than Diana had imagined!
Even though Frigga is a Witch, she is still the Queen of Asgard of Asgard. Her body is inherently stronger than that of Asgardians, as can be seen from Thor's battle with Loki. Even sorcerers among the Asgard prefer close combat, much like the sorcerers of Kamar-Taj, except that the sorcerers of Kamar-Taj don't possess such powerful physiques...
"Diana!" Seeing that Diana was still at a disadvantage in the battle, Robet frowned and instinctively wanted to go and help. But just as Robet moved, another blade surged with rainbow light, enveloping Robet's figure. The next moment, Robet's figure disappeared instantly.
"There's no need for the Sorcerer Supreme to stay here and watch over things. We've already moved the battlefield..." Heimdall nodded to the Ancient One and said softly.
"Um..." The Ancient One looked at Heimdall, hesitant to speak, unsure of what to say for a moment. But seeing Heimdall's confident demeanor, the Ancient One ultimately said nothing, only nodding. She didn't intend to stop them. As long as they didn't destroy Earth, Asgard and Robet could do whatever they wanted. As for whether they would eventually destroy Asgard, the Ancient One wasn't too worried.
Because Asgard is quite sturdy, and because Asgard's not a typical life-bearing planet, destroying it is much more difficult than destroying a normal life-bearing planet...
"Robet!" The Ancient One didn't react much to Robet's disappearance, but Kara, standing nearby, was quite unhappy. Robet had simply vanished; how could Kara be at ease?
However, just as Kara rushed towards Heimdall, calling out Robet's name, a rainbow-colored light enveloped Diana and Frigga, taking Diana Frigga away. Then, the light on the entire Bifrost vanished completely, leaving Kara empty-handed and the Ancient One's eyes flickering as she looked towards a certain point in the universe.
"Where did they go?" Kara asked the Ancient One with a worried look after finding no one there. "Are they alright?"
"The war has already begun. Who can guarantee that nothing bad will happen?" Ancient One shook her head and said softly.
"Why are they being so unreasonable? The problem lies with them..." Kara said in a low voice, somewhat dissatisfied.
"In the vast universe, how many principles can be explained? It's always the strong who make the rules, and the weak who abide by them..." Ancient One smiled and looked at the Krypton girl in front of him, whose strength was not weak but whose thinking was somewhat naive, and said softly.
"Actually, Asgard didn't initially intend to clash with you, especially All-Father Odin. He is indeed very powerful, but he's also old and certainly didn't want to create a powerful enemy for Asgard..."
"So, even though Mjolnir was in your hands from the beginning, he didn't intend to force you to hand Mjolnir over. Of course, this was also because you didn't have any intention of possessing Mjolnir for yourselves..."
"However, after Loki appeared, things began to develop in a direction harmful to both of you. Loki's fate was unknown, and All-Father Odin, had to intervene and demand an explanation. This was because Loki was now Asgard's acting All-Father of the Gods, and if Asgard couldn't even get an explanation for what happened to him, then All-Father Odin, would be unable to maintain Asgard's prestige!"
"That Loki is a real menace!" Kara said indignantly, then looked at the Ancient One and asked, "Could you help me get to Asgard? I don't want to wait here. That magic you just used, was it some kind of Portal?"
"I'm sorry, as I've already said, I won't help either of you, because no matter which side I take, it will affect the situation for both of you..." The Ancient One shook her head, not granting Kara's request. Her identity was rather special; the last time she stepped forward, even clearly siding with Robet, was because the opponent was Mephisto, the Hell Lord. But now, neither side in the conflict was an enemy of hers, so she could only continue to remain neutral.
"What you should do now is go back and protect your home. You need to understand that sometimes, ordinary people can't be ignored. After all, you live in a normal society, and it's not so easy to completely hide your tracks..."
"What do you mean? Our identities have been discovered?" Kara asked the Ancient One, looking somewhat bewildered.
With a "whoosh," the Ancient One didn't answer Kara's question. Instead, she opened a Portal and returned to Kamar-Taj.
Kara stared at the vanished Ancient One, her mouth slightly agape. Finally, she looked towards the spot where the Bifrost had disappeared. Though still somewhat unwilling, she turned and left.
"I've already told her, did you foresee some future scene?" On the other side, in a mysterious space in Kamar-Taj, the Ancient One looked at Wanda body was surging with crimson energy, and asked.
"I didn't predict the future. The future of this world is chaotic and too complicated to be true. I just wanted to warn them that Lorna and Pietro are too close to them and could easily get caught up in the storm..." Wanda slowly shook her head and said softly.
"They're not qualified to get involved in battles between such powerful individuals, but events at the human level can still have a significant impact on them. It's always better to be cautious."
"Now that they have entered the world of the extraordinary, it is almost impossible for them to remain completely unaffected. They are still young and have not yet been formally involved in any extraordinary events, but it is foreseeable that they will inevitably come to the attention of humanity..." Ancient One's eyes flickered slightly as she spoke softly.
"I know, but often knowing is useless. Odin knows perfectly well that what he's doing is completely unreasonable, but he still does it anyway." Wanda smiled and looked at the Ancient One, asking, "So, who do you think will win: Odin or Clark, Frigga or Diana, or Heimdall or Robet?"
"Odin should be able to win. After all, he has chosen to come out, so he must be very confident. Especially since he hasn't made a move for many years, his divine power is still constantly increasing. Even with the limitations of his physical body, his strength is still more terrifying than before!" Ancient One's eyes flickered slightly as she analyzed the situation.
"As for Clark, he is indeed exceptionally gifted. It's a mystery how the Kryptonian could produce such a terrifyingly talented being. With his naturally increased power alone, he has already reached the level of the Skyfather. This is even more terrifying than the growth potential of Asgardian God-Force..."
"But unfortunately, he's still too young, and since his debut, things have gone far too smoothly. Even in the battle against the Bast the Panther God, he had the absolute advantage. It's hard for him to know how to deal with a powerhouse like Odin..."
"As for Frigga and Diana, there's not much to say. Diana does possess Olympus artifacts and Zeus's Divine Power, but Frigga also controls the All-Father's Vault and has quite a few artifacts. Moreover, Frigga also possesses Odinforce. Diana has absolutely no advantage over her!"
"Robet is a bit of a special case, but Heimdall has already witnessed Robet's actions. Since he has taken the initiative to deal with Robet, it means he must be confident, especially with the Odinforce, which can be bestowed upon other Asgard gods..."
"So, in your opinion, Asgard should be able to win this battle without a doubt?" Wanda looked at the Ancient One's lips, which were slightly upturned, and said softly, "How about this, let's make a bet. I bet Clark's side will ultimately win. If I win in the end, you'll help me go to those dimensional coordinates and capture a few Dimensional Beings, how about that?"
"What if I win?" Ancient One raised an eyebrow and looked at Wanda, asking in return.
"If you win, I'll help you secretly borrow some dimensional power. How about it? It's been a long time since any dimension has been willing to lend you power, hasn't it?" Wanda said with a smile, looking at the many distant dimensions.
"Okay! Deal!" Ancient One's eyes lit up, and she readily agreed.
