Hellboy's Predicament
"We found several traces of that Hell Demon King's formations and offerings, but unfortunately, we're still a step too slow. It seems that this Hell Demon King is almost finished with his arrangements..." Constantine said after Robet inquired about the progress of the incident.
"Perhaps a Hell Lord really about to descend upon Earth in full power! However, we have absolutely no idea about this Hell Lord's name or abilities. Should you contact Superman's side, just in case something unexpected happens?"
"When something really goes wrong, Superman can get here too. I've never contacted Superman specifically." Robet slowly shook his head and said softly, "So, that Hell Demon King has already found a suitable Human Vessel for the Hell Lord behind him? Human Vessel who can take on the role of a Hell Lord must be extraordinary, right?"
"I don't know much about that Human Vessel, but Hellboy seems quite interested in him. It seems they know each Human Vessel?" Constantine frowned and whispered, as if he'd thought of something. "That Human Vessel also has an aura of hell, but he doesn't look like Hell Demon. I suspect he might be a hybrid of a Demon and a human!"
"A hybrid of human and Demon?" Robet knew quite a bit about Dhampir, after all, there were famous Half-Saiyan in the Dragon Ball World, which was key to keeping the Saiyan civilization from dying out.
In this world, hybrids are not uncommon. Robet has encountered similar situations before. Besides the demigod Diana, the previous Shadow Hunter lineage could also be considered a hybrid of Angel and human. Although this hybridization method is more fantastical, it cannot be denied that the previous Shadow Hunter lineage did indeed have Angel blood.
Then there's Valentine, who was fighting against the Shadow Hunter and trying to become the Demon King. He was originally a half -Angel and half-human, but later, due to the Angel ' schemes, he became Demon, half- Angel, and half-human. Of course, there seems to be a role involved with Mephisto, but Mephisto was too well hidden at the time, and Robet didn't notice it.
Now, Constantine has mentioned a Demon -human hybrid, and Robet is unsure whether this hybrid is part of Demon's conspiracy, something created like the Shadow Hunter, or whether someone actually had a child with Demon, or had Demon have a child with him.
However, the way this hybrid was born is no longer important. Since this hybrid is about to become the Human Vessel of the Hell Lord, he has no chance of surviving, just like Al Simmons and Richard Parker before him...
Meanwhile, Hellboy was unaware that Robet and Constantine were secretly following him. At this moment, Hellboy looked somewhat anxious, urgently pursuing Zeldar, wanting to find Zeldar's whereabouts and stop Zeldar's next move.
Just as Constantine had suspected, the Human Vessel of this Hell Lord was indeed related to Hellboy, which was why Hellboy was so eager to save this Human Vessel, Kael.
Even though Hellboy didn't know what fate awaited him as Human Vessel, he understood that Kael's life would certainly be threatened, and he definitely didn't want to see Kael die.
Especially since Kael wasn't the first to die; he was captured by Zeldar and was the last person Hellboy knew still alive. If Kael really died too, Hellboy would definitely take the blame for everyone's deaths.
After all, Hellboy had been chasing Zeldar for a long time. If Hellboy hadn't failed to actually track down Zeldar and stop Zeldar previous actions, then Kael and the others wouldn't have been captured by Zeldar, leading to this tragedy.
However, to be honest, this matter is quite related to Robet and even the entire Spider Incident. It was because of the Spider Incident and the appearance of Spider-Man that Hellboy's military forces also got involved and prepared to study the existence of Spider-Man.
Even with all the research on Hellboy and even the Hell Demon, no organization would complain about having more supernatural powers. After all, in their view, having more supernatural powers means having more trump cards in their hands, making their voices stronger, and securing more power and benefits for them in the future!
However, this military force soon suffered a setback because Clark, Robet, and Kara joined forces to rescue the Spider-Man. Initially, the military force did not send any important figures, but it was only when Robet transformed into Orc that the military force became interested.
Therefore, this military force began to send out successful test subjects of Demon experiments, such as Kael, to deal with Robet. Of course, in their eyes, they were not dealing with Saiyan, but unknown Orc, so they were very confident.
However, the Demon experimental subject that Robet encountered was instantly reduced to a bloody mist by Robet. As for Kael and the others, they fared even worse; they didn't even have a chance to meet Robet because they encountered Zeldar.
Before Robet, these Demon experimental subjects had no power to resist; before a Hell Demon King, these so-called Demon experimental subjects were equally powerless to resist.
Furthermore, because of the appearance of these Demon experimental subjects, Zeldar, who was not so successful in setting up and arraying various methods, was able to complete most of his plans more easily. He also further enhanced the already outstanding Kael through bloodline transplantation, giving him the ability to truly become the Human Vessel of a Hell Lord.
Of course, the price for doing this was that all the Demon test subjects who were subsequently captured became resources for Kael's growth—in other words, food...
Originally, although Kael and the other Demon test subjects possessed Demon powers, they were still human in nature. In fact, due to the education and brainwashing they received at the beginning, they were even more loyal to the military than Hellboy.
However, after Kael was forced to devour his companions, Kael could no longer be a true human. A man-made Demon is still Demon. Kael's Hell Demon blood awakened completely, and he transformed into a true Demon, a demon capable of surviving on Earth and unaffected by any Earth Dimension —the perfect Human Vessel for a Demon Hell Lord!
Of course, as the Zeldar Plan progresses, Kael's liberation is not far off. Once that Hell Lord descends, Kael's consciousness will disintegrate, especially after Kael becomes Demon, he will have even less ability to resist the consciousness of the higher-ranking Hell Lord...
Outside a dilapidated church, Hellboy appeared. It's unclear whether Zeldar thought churches were more secluded or if summoning a lord of Hell Demon within a church created a more striking contrast, giving him a Minotaur- like feel. In any case, Zeldar actually hid there and even helped wipe the cross a little.
If someone who believes in Jehovah and Heaven were to witness this scene, they would surely question the meaning of life. In their understanding, the Lord can see everything in the world, and Angel can observe humanity through the cross. Such provocative behavior by Zeldar would certainly not be tolerated.
Unfortunately, Heaven and Jehovah are not as powerful in this universe as their followers imagine. Not only could the Angel not see Zeldar's provocative act of wiping the cross, but even if they did, they would probably choose to avoid trouble and not get involved...
It's worth noting that Gabriel previously asked the Pope to investigate the anomalies in the Holy Light, and the Pope still hasn't given a response. But then again, how could someone really investigate themselves and expect to find anything meaningful?
However, Heaven could only entrust the task to the Pope at this time. Unless Gabriel or another Angel could find another way to secretly descend to Earth, and in full force, it would be almost impossible for them to investigate the cause of Raziel's death and the abnormality of the Holy Light in this situation where they were rejected by Earth!
"Stop!" However, Heaven and the Angel would not stop a Hell Demon King from running amok in a church on Earth, even wiping their sacred cross. But a Hell Demon who had been successfully assimilated by Earth's teachings stepped forward. He stormed into the church and shouted at Zeldar.
"Huh? It's you? You're the one who's been following me?" When Zeldar saw Hellboy, the mocking smile that had appeared on his face from wiping the cross gradually disappeared. He frowned and looked at Hellboy, saying in a deep voice, "What exactly do you want? Why have you been following me?"
Previously, Zeldar could sense that someone was secretly following him. In order not to disrupt the plans of the Hell Lord behind him, Zeldar did not care who the follower was. Instead, he chose to keep moving around and continue to carry out his plan. However, it was precisely because of the constant movement that Zeldar's plan was delayed. This made Zeldar somewhat unhappy, especially after seeing Hellboy.
"Kael? How are you? Are you alright?" However, to Zeldar's surprise, Hellboy didn't reply to him immediately after entering. He looked at Kael with concern, asking him with concern as Kael's Shang-Chi became even stronger and more like Demon.
"Huh? You know each other? Wait! You're not a creature from Hell? You're also an experimental subject from Earth?" Upon hearing Hellboy's question, Zeldar clearly misunderstood something once again, his eyes shining as he looked at Hellboy.
Previously, Zeldar had always believed that Hellboy was the son of a Hell Lord and possessed the most powerful bloodline in the Hell Dimension, and therefore had always harbored a sense of apprehension towards Zeldar.
However, after overhearing Hellboy's conversation with Kael, Zeldar clearly misunderstood Hellboy's identity, but also inadvertently learned that Hellboy had no powerful backers.
With this, Zeldar had no reason to fear Hellboy. He looked at Hellboy with a mocking smile, his aura fluctuating. However, Zeldar quickly realized something and looked at Kael beside him, saying, "Since you know each other, that's perfect. Perhaps he can become a part of your body. After all, although he is an experimental product of Earth, his bloodline is indeed very powerful, making him more suitable as Human Vessel for an adult's reincarnation..."
"Yes, sir!" Upon hearing Zeldar's words, Kael, who had previously shown no reaction to Hellboy's call, finally spoke. He respectfully responded, and his aura instantly erupted as he stared in Hellboy's direction.
"Kael!? Why are you obeying his orders? Are you being controlled by him? Kael! It's me, Rama, don't you remember me? Damn it, what did you do to him?!" Hellboy saw Kael's gaze and shouted several times, but Kael still didn't respond, which made Hellboy glare at Zeldar.
With a "whoosh!", just as Hellboy's gaze fell upon Zeldar, a strange, mocking smile suddenly appeared on Zeldar's lips. Instantly, a figure appeared beside Hellboy, and a sharp claw reached for Hellboy's heart!
"Huh?!" Hellboy's reaction speed was not slow. When he realized the danger, Hellboy immediately took action. His huge gun barrel was instantly aimed at the direction of the approaching person, ready to blow him up on the spot.
But the next moment, Hellboy stopped pulling the trigger and instead retreated rapidly without firing.
This is not for any other reason than that it was Kael who attacked Hellboy at this moment. Hellboy did not want to really hurt Kael, especially since Kael was currently being controlled by Zeldar and was not really going to attack him. He might still have a chance to rescue Kael!
However, Hellboy didn't want to attack Kael, but Kael, now completely transformed into Demon and under his control, wouldn't let Hellboy go. Kael's figure was like a phantom, relentlessly pursuing Hellboy, forcing him to Hellboy again and again, but without any effective countermeasures...
As for Zeldar, he didn't choose to intervene. Instead, he watched the scene unfold with great interest. Seeing this fratricide, and Hellboy's reluctance to act, Zeldar felt a sense of satisfaction...
