Clark Hits a Wall
"Warning! Constantine's Mecha damaged by 13%!" As Tony Stark's Mecha crashed into the mud, Jarvis's alarm quickly sounded. This startled Tony Stark. The damage from this battle was far more severe than when he faced that Hell Demon King alone last time. This also showed that Zeldar's strength was now far greater than that Hell Demon King, which made Tony Stark dare not be careless.
Seeing Tony Stark so badly knocked away, the Avengers became even more vigilant. Hellboy charged ahead towards Zeldar's location. Since he had promised to be on the front line, he naturally wouldn't back down, even though he had been injured earlier. He wouldn't let Steve and the others be at the forefront.
After all, Steve was Hellboy's idol, and Hellboy knew just how capable Steve was. The military bases had Super Soldier, and he couldn't let Steve really be on the front lines...
With a loud "bang!", Hellboy launched his attack despite the immense pressure, drawing Zeldar's attention and preventing Tony Stark from suffering further harm.
Unfortunately, Hellboy's attack failed to harm Zeldar in the slightest. Just like Tony Stark's laser attack earlier, Hellboy's punch landed on Zeldar like a stone thrown into the sea. Although it deformed Zeldar's body, it did not cause Zeldar any real damage...
With a loud "Bang!", the terrifying Zeldar launched a counterattack the next moment. A fist far more bizarre and terrifying than Hellboy's right fist struck towards Hellboy's body. But at this critical moment, Steve reacted and raised his Vibranium Shield to block in front of Hellboy. Although his body was knocked away, he successfully blocked Zeldar's attack.
With a "whoosh!", Bucky also launched an attack quickly, releasing a Repulsor Blast directly from Bucky arm. Facing such an enemy, Bucky dared not hold back at all. Even if his energy was depleted, he could just use his Vibranium arm to slightly block the opponent's attack. Bucky never thought that he would be the main offensive force in this battle.
"Whoosh!"
"Whoosh!"
"Whoosh!"
Just as Bucky made his move, Morbius also attacked. His figure was like a blur, and his attack style seemed similar to Pietro and the others. They were all speed users, but Morbius was slower and had his own unique attack style.
For example, before, neither Tony Stark, Hellboy, nor Bucky could truly injure Zeldar. But with Morbius's intervention, minor wounds appeared on Zeldar's body. Although the wounds were tiny, they caused Zeldar's blood to overflow again. This ability was beyond Zeldar's imagination.
"Hmm?!" Zeldar's inhuman eyes twitched, locking onto Morbius. Even though Morbius was incredibly fast, like a bat circling in the night, he still couldn't escape Zeldar's gaze.
However, at that moment, Tony Stark once again charged in his Mecha. The previous damage to the Mecha was not enough to affect Tony Stark's full combat power. In fact, Tony Stark could withstand at least seven of Zeldar's fatal attacks before the Mecha would be completely incapacitated.
"Lock onto his real wound!" Just as Tony Stark flew back, Steve keenly sensed the current battle situation and called out to Tony Stark, instructing him to interrupt Tony Stark 'Zeldar lock on Morbius while launching his attack.
This is the advantage of ganging up on others. Even though Zeldar is stronger than the Avengers, his energy and attention are limited. He can't pay attention to everyone or deal with everyone at the same time.
But the Avengers are different. They can work together, and if anyone is in danger, they can not only help each other and share the pressure and damage, but they can also attack at the same time, making it difficult for Zeldar to defend himself from both sides!
This is the true meaning of ganging up on a boss, and it's why a group of people are needed to clear a boss together. It's too difficult for one person to deal with such a boss alone.
The battle between the Avengers and Zeldar was fierce, with everyone except Constantine who was taking a break. Meanwhile, Peter Parker was forced to watch from a distance, as he was still in a symbiotic relationship with Venom.
At this point, it was a bit difficult for Peter Parker to join the battle as soon as possible, because Venom was clearly not adapted to this kind of combat environment. This made it impossible for Peter Parker to rush forward and exert his basic combat power, let alone Venom's full potential.
In fact, judging from the form that Zeldar is currently displaying, if Venom were to make a move, it might actually be able to entangle with Zeldar and neutralize most of Zeldar's attacks, because Zeldar is not very afraid of physical attacks, and Venom is not particularly afraid of them either.
Unfortunately, the battle is too chaotic and noisy right now. Even though there are no elements that Venom fears, such as fire and sound waves, Venom still instinctively worries about being accidentally injured when the battle gets intense. Peter Parker is filled with helplessness about this.
"Come on, can't you control your instincts a little? That's Iron Man's energy attack, not some kind of fire. If you're afraid of that, how will you fight in the future?" Peter Parker looked at the battlefield not far away and patiently tried to communicate with Venom, attempting to help Venom overcome these problems and truly participate in the battle.
During this time, Tony Stark and Peter Parker did not stop their research on Venom, but due to the short time, there was not much progress. The only thing that could be confirmed was that Venom's fear of fire and sound waves was indeed engraved in its DNA. No matter which part of Venom's body it was, it had a great fear of these two things.
Therefore, Venom still has a long way to go to overcome these shortcomings. Peter Parker doesn't expect Venom to overcome them all at once; he just hopes Venom can perform somewhat well in normal team fights...
"Then... let's give it a try?" After Peter Parker's persuasion, Venom finally relented, his voice tinged with uncertainty. "But you have to be careful. If we really encounter danger, I might retreat first. Remember to run fast, or you'll die yourself..."
Before coming to Earth, Venom was unaware that he was so afraid of fire and sound waves. Even without sound waves and fire, he was still hesitant to engage in too many superhuman-level battles, because Venom didn't know what kind of methods his enemies possessed.
In Venom's view, Earth, this godforsaken place, is far more dangerous than his Klyntar. Not only does it possess all sorts of extraordinary abilities, but it also faces the constant threat of dangerous dimensional invasions.
It's important to know that dimensional invasions have never occurred on the Klyntar before. The battle fluctuations between Robet and Kael, even from such a distance, still made Venom's heart pound, which is why Venom dared not make a move.
The reason Venom reluctantly agreed to intervene is quite simple: he wants to help end the battle on Zeldar's side as quickly as possible. Otherwise, if the fighting between Robet and Kael intensifies, the battlefield expands, and the commotion becomes more terrifying, Venom will be completely unable to intervene...
With a "whoosh," the Venom instantly condensed into a combat suit on Peter Parker's body. Peter Parker felt the powerful force, lightly pushed off with his feet, and charged towards Zeldar. At the same time, strands of Spider Web shot out from Peter Parker's wrists.
This time, the Spider Web was completely different from before. Before obtaining Mjolnir and the Thunder Force, Peter Parker's Spider Web was simply milky white, no different from normal Spider Web.
Once Peter Parker possesses the Thunder Force, his Spider Web can now be imbued with Spider Web damage, not only greatly increasing its range but also granting it the ability to Spider Web and inflict direct damage.
Now, after Venom and Peter Parker became symbiotic, Peter Parker's Spider Web has turned into a black and white mixture, containing not only the abilities of Peter Parker's own Spider Web but also Venom's body. After binding Zeldar, it looks as if a group of mini Venom are working together to restrain Zeldar.
"Well done!" Steve shouted after seeing Zeldar briefly trapped by Peter Parker, "Attack together!"
"Call out!"
"Whoosh!"
"Bang!"
As Steve finished speaking, the Avengers unleashed their unique abilities and attacks, inflicting numerous injuries on Zeldar, who was temporarily controlled by Peter Parker and Venom. In addition, Morbius's special ability caused the dangerous blood of the Hell Demon King to surge forth once more, causing Zeldar's aura to begin to weaken slightly.
"They've all made their moves, wouldn't it be inappropriate if I didn't?" Constantine, watching the intense battle and especially sensing that Zeldar's aura was beginning to weaken, had a slight unease in his eyes as he muttered to himself.
Although Constantine isn't great at playing even or losing games, Constantine's a pro at taking advantage of a losing situation. Therefore, Constantine doesn't even need to think much before making his move.
Furthermore, if Constantine doesn't act now, when they're close to defeating Zeldar, who can really make Constantine sacrifice Zeldar to pay off his numerous dimensional debts?
With a "whoosh!", Constantine joined the battle, putting even more pressure on Zeldar, who was already at a disadvantage. It must be said that Constantine was indeed good at beating a drowning dog. He was even able to cooperate with Morbius to continuously aggravate Zeldar's injuries, rendering Zeldar's originally powerful recovery ability useless. This also accelerated Zeldar's process of dying.
The battlefield here has stabilized somewhat. The Avengers won't be able to kill Zeldar anytime soon, but victory seems assured. However, the battle between Robet and Kael on the other side is not so easily decided...
After Clark made his move, Robet seized the opportunity, injuring Kael and reversing the tide of the battle. However, Kael's strength was still formidable. Even with Robet's current power boost in the Great Ape Power: Wrath form, he had not been able to surpass Carrey in terms of combat strength, and was even slightly short of catching up.
Fortunately, Robet's fighting skills and powerful offensive momentum largely compensated for the difference in combat strength, making it very difficult for Kael to defeat Robet.
But that alone is clearly not enough, especially as the battle progresses. America has already issued earthquake warnings, and residents of some surrounding cities and states have begun to evacuate, because the area is indeed very dangerous.
Moreover, as the battle continues, the fluctuations in the battle will only increase. Especially if Robet's combat power truly surpasses that of Kael, leaving Kael with no hope of defeating Robet, who knows what this Hell Lord might do.
It wouldn't be surprising if, like Cell, Earth were to be reduced to dust in space along with the planet.
Of course, these are issues Robet can no longer concern himself with. He can only focus all his attention on this battle. As for the problem of this battle affecting so many places, that can only be dealt with by Clark. Robet had already sensed Clark's disappearance, and he naturally guessed where Clark had gone...
Within Kamar-Taj, Clark, with his speed, naturally arrived there immediately. However, Clark's arrival was of little use, as Clark still couldn't find the Ancient One within Kamar-Taj.
With the Ancient One absent, Clark didn't know who to look for. In fact Clark, the disciples of Kamar-Taj initially tried to stop Clark from entering Kamar-Taj.
Unfortunately, none of these Kamar-Taj disciples were truly powerful. Despite their magical advantages, they were unable to pose the slightest threat to Clark, Clark forcefully broke in.
Just as Clark was about to have a further conflict with Kamar-Taj, all the Kamar-Taj disciples stopped, as if they had heard something...
