Explosive Flames and Qi (Fourth Update)
Robet and Johnny were unaware of what was happening with Demon Sorcerer and Valmont. After briefly explaining what had just happened to Robet, Johnny handed the Dragon Talisman to Robet without any hesitation.
Johnny was excited when he first obtained the Dragon Talisman, and Johnny looked forward to the first few battles he used Dragon Talisman in. But now, Johnny was exhausted. All he wanted was a good night's sleep, and then to go home and fix up his house...
"Goodbye, Robet ..." Johnny and Susan waved to Robet, watching Robet disappear into the air before turning their attention away.
"Alright, the extraordinary world has nothing to do with me anymore, so you don't need to worry about it anymore..." Johnny felt a little reluctant to lose the Dragon Talisman, but he quickly adjusted his mindset.
"Yes, the extraordinary world has nothing to do with us anymore, so does that mean we'll never see Robet again?" Susan seemed even more disappointed than Johnny.
"Hey? Susan, my dear sister, you're not planning on dating a younger woman, are you?" Johnny exclaimed, looking at Susan with an exaggerated expression.
"What nonsense are you talking about?" Susan blushed and glared at Johnny, annoyed. "I just feel like he saved my life, and I didn't even have a chance to thank him, and he doesn't even seem to care..."
"Isn't it normal for people in the extraordinary world to think a little differently from us ordinary people... huh?" Johnny smiled and waved his hand, but then suddenly paused. As he waved, his fingertips turned slightly red, and a faint flame flickered, but when Johnny looked closely, the flame disappeared.
"What's wrong?" Susan asked, looking at Johnny who had stopped, with some confusion.
"It's nothing, probably just my imagination!" Johnny shook his hand again, but no more firelight appeared. He figured he was just too tired and his eyes were playing tricks on Johnny. "Let's go, let's find a place to rest. I'm exhausted..."
On the other hand, after obtaining the Dragon Talisman Dragon Talisman, Robet studied its power briefly. The unique characteristics of its explosive flame power were something Robet did not possess.
Ki Blast are more like pure energy. There are very few moves with lightning attributes like the Thunder Shock Suprise. But since the Thunder Shock Suprise can be used to evolve lightning attributes, there should also be a way to develop fire attributes.
In particular, the fact that Ki Blast can release extremely high temperatures and explosive power, and can even be transformed into pure light like the Solar Flare, gave Robet a glimmer of hope.
Robet quickly contacted Jackie Chan, saying he wanted to study the Dragon Talisman for a few days. Jackie Chan, who was on his way there, agreed without much hesitation and left Robet his address.
Although Jackie Chan hadn't spent much time with Robet, Jackie Chan had a pretty good grasp of Robet's personality. He knew that Robet had probably discovered something interesting in the Dragon Talisman and wanted to explore it, and he wasn't worried at all that Robet would try to keep the Dragon Talisman for himself.
And to be honest, Jackie Chan felt that keeping the Dragon Talisman with Robet might actually be safer than keeping it in the world's safest Section 13. Jackie Chan had to admit that there was some truth to what Jade had said earlier...
After contacting Jackie Chan, Robet had no intention of returning to Kent Farm. After all, with Johnny and Susan's incident as a lesson, Robet couldn't bring the Dragon Talisman back and expose the location of Kent Farm.
Robet transformed back into Kakarot and found a place to train and study the power within the Dragon Talisman. It wasn't that Robet was deliberately skipping class; Robet was mainly worried that his presence at school would cause it to be blown up...
Even if we don't blow up the school, it wouldn't be good if a Shadowkhan got into the school and hurt or frightened the students or teachers, right?
In short, that's what Robet told Clark. Clark was quite helpless after hearing it, but he couldn't really let Robet take the Dragon Talisman to school because he knew those Shadowkhan might actually appear...
Therefore, Clark contacted Robet's teacher, Selene, again, and was even forced to agree to have dinner with Selene. Then Clark's headache began.
For some reason, Lana found out that Selene and Clark had arranged to have dinner together on the same day. Clark felt like he was surrounded by spies!
Fortunately, the matter was eventually resolved satisfactorily. Clark prepared two sets of clothes and made it to both dinner parties at Superman speed. Selene didn't notice anything unusual, but Clark seemed a little uncomfortable when Lana stared at him with a half-smile throughout.
Clark certainly hadn't forgotten Robet, the culprit. If Robet hadn't skipped class to study Dragon Talisman, none of this would have happened.
Clark considered putting Robet in the same awkward situation, but ultimately decided against it. Clark reasoned that Kara and Diana were far more powerful than Lana and Selene. While Clark didn't know Diana well, Clark was familiar with Kara's temperament; in that case, even a Kent Farm wouldn't be enough to demolish it. Besides, Robet, being so carefree, might not even be embarrassed...
Robet had no idea what Clark was thinking at that moment, but Robet was still the first to know about Clark's experiences, because Kara was right next to Robet.
Furthermore, Lana knew about Clark and Selene's dinner because Kara tipped her off, not because Martha told her.
Influenced by Martha, both Robet and Kara favor Lana, especially since Lana is aware of Clark's abilities for many years, making her a much safer choice than Selene.
"Is this Dragon Talisman really that fun? How many days have you been studying it without coming home?" Kara muttered discontentedly, looking at the Dragon Talisman in Robet's hand after finishing her story about Clark.
"It's almost done. I'm not just researching Dragon Talisman; my focus is on converting qi into other elemental powers..." Robet shook his head, explaining earnestly, "Like you and Clark, you possess Heat Vision, Freeze Breath, and the ability to create hurricanes—all evolved from the energy from the sun within you!"
"Qi is a pure form of energy. It doesn't inherently possess any attributes, but it should be able to develop in these directions. If I can research these things, my understanding and development of qi will rapidly improve, and I might even be able to achieve ten times the effect with just one unit of qi!"
"Similarly, I also hope to use my Qi to completely suppress the Great Ape Power into my normal state, which would greatly enhance my combat power!"
"I know, you just want to improve your combat power, right? Then you can cultivate too!" Kara pouted and muttered somewhat listlessly.
"No! It's different!" Robet shook his head, his mind blank as he spoke.
