The already chaotic front lines had become utterly meaningless. The constantly blooming Black Hole Bombs made any large-scale concentration of forces a dangerous target. Every so often, an entire area was abruptly erased from the battlefield. After recovering from their terror, the surviving warships immediately plunged back into the fight, trying to engage the enemy fleet and
mingle with them—when facing an irresistible weapon like the Black Hole Bomb, even the bravest soldiers felt fear.
Driven by the instinct to survive, the conventional fleets relegated to cannon fodder mixed together and traded fire at close range, trying to use either their own ships or the enemy's as bargaining chips to avoid being swallowed by the terrifying black holes.
Everything had descended into chaos. Even Count Piya, whose mind rivaled a humanoid supercomputer, hadn't foreseen that the large-scale use of Black Hole Bombs would transform the battlefield so drastically.
