Refining the Void: Another Use for Heavenly Demon Creation Star Power
Kunlun Star Palace, Mentor Chi Yu's dojo.
After Liang Ji advanced to Seventh-Tier Star Lord and emerged from seclusion, he didn't leave Kunlun Star Palace right away. Instead, he went to visit Mentor Chi Yu again.
The high-tier Star Lord stage was a cultivation stage entirely different from the low-tier and middle-tier stages.
During the low- and middle-tier stages, cultivation focused almost entirely on one's Natal Star. As long as a Star Lord concentrated on developing their Natal Star and Vassals, improving the Natal Star would drive the Star Lord's own cultivation and advancement.
After all, the low-tier Star Lord stage strengthened the connection between the Natal Star and the Star Lord, while the middle-tier stage strengthened the Natal Star's influence over the Star Lord.
Once a Star Lord reached the high-tier stage, however, the process was reversed. They began strengthening their influence over their Natal Star.
At this stage, the Natal Star's development and growth remained important, but the Star Lord's own cultivation and the changes they made to their Natal Star—and the influence they exerted over it—were just as crucial.
These factors could even determine whether they succeeded or failed at Dao Integration in the Eighth-Tier Star Lord stage.
In other words, this was practically an entirely new stage of cultivation. Liang Ji needed to seek Mentor Chi Yu's advice on cultivating as a high-tier Star Lord.
"Congratulations on advancing to Seventh-Tier Star Lord!" When he saw Liang Ji, Mentor Chi Yu was the first to offer his congratulations with a smile. "From now on, you can be considered one of the upper echelons of the Star Alliance."
"Thank you, Mentor!" Liang Ji smiled and bowed to him. "I owe my achievements to your help and instruction."
