If the Three Heavens Really Dare to Seek Death, I Won't Hesitate to Send Them on Their Way
On the battlefield, Yin-Yang Ancestor's gaze was icy. He didn't dare relax for even a moment.
How tenacious was an Innate Divine Demon's life force? Even if one fell, it wouldn't happen so easily.
Sure enough, the next moment, heaven and earth suddenly shook!
Boundless chaos-colored immortal light surged upward, illuminating the past, present, and future. Five Elements' figure coalesced once more.
His voice was cold, filled with boundless killing intent, as if it could crush the entire starry cosmos. "I was so close—just a little more!"
As his killing intent erupted, billions of stars instantly shattered into dust.
The Chaos Flag appeared in his hand, its banner snapping in the wind as immortal light intertwined. The eternal flow of space and time crumbled and reformed beneath his feet.
In that moment, he seemed to have transformed himself into the incarnation of heaven and earth. The origin of Chaos surged forth, its might boundless!
"Just a cornered beast's final struggle."
Yin-Yang Ancestor spoke coldly. Black and white energies shimmered in his eyes as two terrifying Yin-Yang Azure Dragons roared down, manifesting as a tide of destruction.
"Three Heavens, attack!"
Yellow Heaven, Azure Heaven, and Cyan Heaven shook their origins at the same time, joining forces to unleash the Heavenly Punishment Tribulation Light.
Heaven's might was boundless, as if the Heavenly Dao itself had descended to erase Five Elements completely.
The Primordial World trembled, space shattered, and time fell into chaos.
Long Zang's Small World was caught in the aftermath as well. He had to reinforce its foundations, or the entire Small World would collapse.
He thought to himself, Five Elements, you've reached the end of your road.
On the battlefield, Five Elements was covered in cracks, blood surging from him like an immortal river.
Yet even so, there wasn't the slightest hint of retreat in his eyes. Instead, his boundless pride burned all the brighter.
"Surrender? Absurd! I am an Innate Divine Demon. How could I grovel just to survive?"
His furious roar shook heaven and earth, while the Chaos Great Flag in his hand continued to snap in the wind.
Cyan Heaven's gaze was cold as he spoke arrogantly. "Attack. Just kill him!"
At those words, Yin-Yang Ancestor's brow twitched, while Azure Heaven and Yellow Heaven both looked surprised.
For even as their enemies, they had never dared insult an Innate Divine Demon in such a tone.
A cold, murderous glint flashed in Five Elements' eyes.
His dignity had been trampled!
"You think you can?!"
He glared at Cyan Heaven. Chaos-colored immortal light erupted, instantly shattering Cyan Heaven's figure!
Although Cyan Heaven quickly reformed, Five Elements' words had already pierced deep into his heart like a sharp sword.
"If you hadn't joined forces, it would still be anyone's guess who'd emerge victorious!"
Five Elements was drenched in blood, yet his voice remained incomparably proud.
That was his pride—and the final stubborn defiance of an Innate Divine Demon!
Yin-Yang Ancestor spoke coldly. "Five Elements, may you rest in peace."
The Taiji Diagram appeared in the sky and transformed into a Golden Bridge, suppressing heaven and earth.
The Three Heavens responded in unison. The Eye of Heavenly Punishment blazed with endless lightning, and the Heavenly Punishment Tribulation Light poured down.
Five Elements threw back his head and roared, "Boundless Chaos, eternal through all ages!"
Boundless chaos-colored immortal light erupted. His banner shook as he clashed head-on with the Taiji Diagram and the Eye of Heavenly Punishment!
The void was annihilated, and the Great Dao shattered.
In the end, the Chaos Flag let out a mournful cry and shattered completely, hurled deep into the turbulent void.
Yin-Yang and the Three Heavens joined forces to grind Five Elements' figure away until nothing remained.
At that moment, the Innate Divine Demon... Five Elements, had finally perished completely!
Only the endlessly rippling Great Dao of Desolation remained, silently playing the final notes of his requiem.
Inside the Small World, Long Zang reached out and grasped the slowly spinning phantom of a Chaos Flag. His gaze was profound as he murmured,
"An Innate Supreme Treasure... In the end, it still fell into my hands."
The Chaos Flag had fallen into Long Zang's hands not because it had willingly acknowledged him as its master, but because he had reached out and forcibly intercepted it in the turbulent void.
Such a feat would be as difficult as ascending to heaven for anyone else, but for Long Zang now, it was no more than a simple gesture.
His cultivation was already near that of a Sublime Saint, having crossed into the Supreme Expert realm. Intercepting a treasure was a trivial matter.
Moreover, he had acted with such stealth that Yin-Yang Ancestor and the Three Heavens had failed to notice, even working together.
Long Zang examined the Chaos Flag, his expression calm.
Such a treasure wasn't of much use to him. What truly mattered was the Dao resonance and legacy it contained.
He thought to himself, I'll keep it. Perhaps I can bestow it upon someone in the future; it'll make a fine foundation for them.
Then he put the treasure away and left the Small World, which had been drained of its blood essence.
As for the remaining fragments and filth, he couldn't be bothered to look at them. He went straight back to the Southern Region of the Primordial World.
As soon as he returned to the Phoenix Small World, Yuan Huang appeared, her expression tinged with grievance and displeasure.
"You finally decided to come back?"
She spoke coldly, though her eyes concealed a concern she could barely hide.
Long Zang smiled, put an arm around her waist, and led her into the palace.
"I heard. Five Elements is dead," Yuan Huang said quietly, her eyes heavy with sorrow.
Long Zang nodded, his expression solemn. "Yin-Yang and the Three Heavens joined forces to grind him away."
Yuan Huang couldn't possibly have missed such a momentous event. Long Zang, on the other hand, seemed so calm that he had already anticipated it.
"The Primordial World is in complete turmoil now," Yuan Huang murmured, worry clouding her brow. "The balance has been broken. The situation is bound to spiral out of control."
Long Zang didn't deny it.
Five Elements' death was far more than the disappearance of a single Supreme Expert.
It meant that only the Qian Kun Divine Dynasty remained in the Northern Region of the Primordial World. How could Qian Kun alone possibly withstand the might of the Yin Yang Divine Dynasty and the Heavenly Dao Alliance?
The outcome was already decided.
Long Zang suddenly asked, "Has there been any movement from the Kirin Clan?"
His gaze was profound.
If anyone was bound to feel the pressure first, it would be First Kirin in the Central Great Domain.
The Heavenly Dao Alliance and the Yin Yang Divine Dynasty had expanded to their limits. Sooner or later, they would encroach upon the Central Great Domain.
The Phoenix Clan in the south had him and Yuan Huang holding the fort. No one would dare provoke them rashly.
Yuan Huang shook her head, suspicion glimmering in her eyes. "First Kirin still hasn't made a move. That's what's strange. Under normal circumstances, he couldn't possibly sit still."
Long Zang pondered for a moment, then said slowly, "Perhaps he has his own assurances."
The Kirin Clan's foundations were not to be underestimated. All three clans had emerged victorious in the Primordial Era, and their accumulated strength far surpassed that of anyone else.
On the surface, the Kirin Clan seemed to have only one Supreme Expert, First Kirin. In truth, members of the three clans had reached the Da Luo realm one after another, and more than a few had already touched that threshold.
Otherwise, what gave them the right to be called the Three Innate Races?
"Regardless, the Phoenix Clan must be ready as well," Long Zang said in a low voice.
"War?" Yuan Huang murmured, a cold glint flashing in her eyes.
Long Zang nodded, his expression grim. "The Three Heavens... might set their sights on the Phoenix Clan."
Yuan Huang froze, then immediately understood.
Long Zang brought up the past. "Back when Shen Ni and Luohu schemed against First Kirin, the Three Heavens were the ones who blocked my path."
Only then did Yuan Huang understand. No wonder Long Zang had reached that conclusion.
If that was the case, there had long been signs that the Three Heavens coveted the Phoenix Clan.
She gave a cold laugh. "Those fools think too little of the Three Clans."
Long Zang nodded.
The Three Clans had endured from the Primordial Era to the present, victors of the previous era. They alone had been able to face the Ferocious Beasts head-on.
Their foundations ran deep, far beyond what upstarts like the Three Heavens could easily match.
Yuan Huang's gaze sharpened, her tone resolute. "If the Three Heavens really dare to seek death, I won't hesitate to send them on their way."
Long Zang looked at her and smiled faintly, saying nothing.
But he knew that Yuan Huang had every reason—and every right—to be so confident.
With the Phoenix Clan's foundations and Long Zang himself, the mere Three Heavens could never shake them.
