Background / History

Long Zang awakened in the Pangu Divine Hall as the first Ancestor Witch. Born amid Pangu's turbid energy, he initially could not cultivate a Primordial Spirit; rather than resist this limitation, he chose to perfect his physical body through the Nine Revolutions Mysterious Technique. 1

His bloodline naturally resonated with the Devouring and Destruction Great Daos. He emerged from his cocoon as a Great Luo before his twelve siblings, but deliberately allowed their own gestation to proceed naturally. 2 While wandering the Primordial World, he encountered Yuan Huang and became involved in the coalition against the Ferocious Beast Clan. 3 4

Long Zang eventually realized that following Pangu's body-refinement path could not let him surpass Pangu. He therefore fused Devouring and Destruction directly into his flesh, creating the Immortal Demon Body and beginning an unprecedented personal path. 5

After reaching Hunyuan, he learned that his apparent “rebirth” was not ordinary transmigration: it was the reincarnation of a sliver of his own divine soul through later ages. 138

Appearance

Long Zang usually manifests in a white-robed Pangu Dao Body with silver-white hair, a wine gourd at his waist, and a halberd in hand. His presence is repeatedly described as ancient, oppressive, and comparable to a Chaos Demon God. 3 33

  • Pangu Dao Body — White robes, white hair, and the Heaven and Earth White Jade Gourd carried as a wine flask. 3 33
  • Immortal Demon Body — A dragon-headed, human-torsoed form with blood-red wings and black-gold divine light. 5
  • True combat form — Dark-gold dragon scales, dragon horns, and six pairs of dark-red dragon wings; the River of Time coils around his wrists while the River of Fate forms a dharma wheel behind him. 38 46
  • Body of Ten Thousand Daos — His skin bears black-gold Great Dao patterns formed from the laws fused into his flesh and blood. 66

Personality

Long Zang is direct, battle-hungry, and dismissive of conventional Dao discussion. He views combat as a meaningful test and routinely seeks opponents strong enough to challenge him, to Luohu's particular frustration. 4 12

Despite his recklessness in battle, he is patient in long-term strategy. He preserved Shen Ni and the Ferocious Beast Clan because he anticipated needing allies against future Sages, and he repeatedly cautioned the Witch Clan against pursuing short-lived hegemony. 20 77

He has little interest in becoming the Heavenly Dao's spokesperson, believing such authority would impose too many restraints. Instead, he values freedom, personal growth, and the ability to forge his own path. 54 Even after reaching Hunyuan, he continues studying unfamiliar cultivation systems to correct weaknesses in his own. 311 312

  • Withstood Southern Bright Li Fire until it became no more harmful than water. 5

  • The Body of Ten Thousand Daos incorporates Devouring, Strength, Destruction, Fate, Eternity, Yin-Yang, and Creation. 65 66

Devouring Great Dao

Devouring is Long Zang's foundational Great Dao and the basis of his ability to integrate power into himself. 5 65

  • Absorbs turbid qi to accelerate physical cultivation. 2
  • Devoured Southern Bright Li Fire while forging his Immortal Demon Body. 5
  • Converts Sha Qi, resentment, and Immortal Slaying Sword Qi into nourishment rather than suffering their usual effects. 39
  • Allows him to devour and fuse the laws of enemies defeated during the Tribulation of Proving the Dao. 65
  • He intends to use Devouring as the foundation for ultimately fusing all Three Thousand Great Daos. 65

Destruction and Return to Ruins

Long Zang wields Destruction as both a Great Dao and an offensive principle.

  • Return to Ruins — A destructive attack capable of shattering Luohu's Senluo Demon Statue and threatening Supreme Experts. 7 12
  • Eternal Heavens Great Annihilation — A Destruction-based technique used against Luohu's Primordial-Spirit-targeting demonic sound. 15
  • Nirvana Guixu — His strongest attack during the battle against the Destiny Demon God. 47
  • Realm-Severing Finger — A finger strike that destroyed a Dark Dao Master's body and annihilated its blood mist. 328

Fate, Time, and Yin-Yang

After defeating the Destiny Demon God, Long Zang acquired the Great Dao of Fate and expanded his ability to perceive history, possible futures, and the All Heavens. 48 50

  • The River of Fate enables him to observe the fates of worlds and living beings. 224 279
  • The River of Time allows him to trace the past, observe prior eras, and travel upstream through history. 259 260
  • Yin-Yang Cyclic Turn manifests ancient worlds and reverses time within them to crush an opponent's defenses. 38
  • Yin-Yang Intertwining releases Yin-Yang divine light powerful enough to overwhelm Zhunti and Jieyin in Chaos. 127
  • He sent temporal projections of himself into the River of Time to spread Martial Cultivation across other worlds. 279

Martial Dao and Cultivation Teaching

Long Zang created Martial Dao for humans, Human-Witch hybrids, and Witches unable to fulfill the strict requirements of the Great Dao Undying Body. 118

  • Passed down body-cultivation methods to humanity for more than three hundred thousand years. 119
  • Established the Martial Dao Heavenly Tablet and became Saint Master of the Human Race. 119
  • Created a Human Race heritage world containing three thousand Martial Dao Heavenly Tablets. 160
  • Taught Ying Zheng the Imperial Extreme Dragon Body and the art of governance. 201
  • Distributed the Ancestral God Path and Stone Man Path to the Witch Clan after studying both systems. 315

Small World Creation

Long Zang possesses a personal world whose growth feeds power and laws back into him.

  • Nurtures innate deities who address him as Father God and govern aspects of the world. 35 66
  • Established the Holy City, where the world’s inhabitants direct faith toward his statue. 90
  • Elevated the Small World into a Lesser Thousand World. 155
  • Later raised it into a Middle Thousand World through world integration and accumulated World Origin. 289
  • Saves its faith power for future world wars and rewards for its inhabitants. 123

Equipment / Weapons / Items

  • Destruction Battle Halberd — His principal weapon; retrieved through blood sacrifice before entering the Primordial World. 2
  • Heaven and Earth White Jade Gourd — A high-grade Innate Spiritual Treasure with a self-contained world capable of capture, refinement, and suppression; Long Zang normally uses it to carry spiritual wine. 3
  • Chaos Bead — A Chaos Supreme Treasure used to obscure Heavenly Secrets and observe past events through time. 77 103

  • Twelve Ancestor Witches — His younger siblings. He gave them the Great Dao Undying Body method, tested their strength, and warned them against attempting to dominate the Primordial World. 44 69 77
  • A Bao — First disciple and former mount. Long Zang treats him as a disciple, entrusts him with guarding and training others, and relies on him as a major combatant. 41 151 287
  • Six-Eared Macaque — Second disciple. Long Zang tested his self-control, character, and Dao heart before accepting him and later gave him the Sky-Flipping Staff. 151 194
  • Ying Zheng — Disciple trained in the Imperial Extreme Dragon Body and governance to prepare him for the unification of the six kingdoms. 201

Ferocious Beast and Three-Clan Conflicts

He supported Yuan Huang and the Phoenix Clan against the Ferocious Beast Clan, protected her from Luohu, and later fought the Three Heavens, Ancestor Dragon, and Luohu. Fate Demon God and Hunyuan Breakthrough

Seeking a breakthrough in Chaos, Long Zang confronted the Destiny Demon God's remnant soul. Aided by Pangu's will and a drop of blood from his future self, he defeated the Demon God, inherited the Great Dao of Fate, survived the Tribulation of Proving the Dao, and became a Chaos Demon God. 45 48 65 66

Human Race Saint Master

Long Zang obtained the Kongtong Seal, claimed the title of Saint Master, and founded Martial Dao as a path suited to humanity and Human-Witch hybrids. He later provided the Human Race with a heritage world and trained Ying Zheng for his role in unifying the human nations. 118 119 160 201

All-Heavens Expansion and World Protection

  • He considers the position of Heavenly Dao spokesperson undesirable because it would restrict his freedom. 54
  • His path cannot be replicated by the Twelve Ancestor Witches, as it depends on his unique fusion of Great Daos and eventual transformation into a Chaos Demon God. 66
