Background

Tongtian originated as one of the Four Pangu Purities, sharing Pangu's Primordial Spirit origin with Laozi, Yuanshi, and Xuanyuan. After Form Transformation, the Four Purities secluded themselves to stabilize their cultivation and avoid the calamities engulfing the Primordial World. 1

Unlike the Three Pure Ones' traditional Primordial Spirit-focused path, Tongtian recognized the weakness of his physical body after sparring with the Ancestral Witches Qiang Liang and Xi Zi. He chose to temper both body and soul rather than rely solely on Primordial Spirit cultivation. 6 Absorbing the Pangu Jade Marrow later transformed his body into a Yin Yang Law Bloodline, granting him an Ancestral Witch-like physique and a second route toward proving the Dao. 10

His cultivation subsequently fused the Upper Pure Primordial Spirit, Yin Yang Law, physical cultivation, swordsmanship, and formation arts.
